Tekka looked at a bruise on her arm, the throbbing had diminished somewhat. "Your right, they don't hurt so bad anymore." She smiled softly. "Times like these I think stars have some sort of magical power. Who knows," She shrugged. "They probably do."
She nodded. "Just like the people in the clans. But instead of physical miles, the miles are mental. We're separated by different experiences, morals, and ideas... But even so," A breeze blew her hair back a bit, nudging her fedora. She placed one hand over the hat to keep it from blowing away.
"We're all in the same sky."

Kairi nodded and smiled softly. "I always believed that the stars were magical. I believe they are the spirits of those who have died."
Kairi nodded. "No matter what changes, the sky stays the same. In our pasts, in the future, the only thing that remains constant, is the sky. Clouds may drift through it, stars may light it, but the sky will remain the sky, no matter what."
She smiled softly at the sky, as if it were her friend. "Humans change......The world changes......But the sky never does. No matter how much we pollute it, it stays the same."

Tekka thought about all of this. Thoughts going hither and thither, processing all that had happened that night. Suddenly she felt tired. Not the need-to-sleep-right-now kind, more of the a-good-break-right-now-would-be-nice kind.
She nodded. "I hope you're right, it'd be awful if something so constant were to change."

Kairi scooted over, ruffled her best friend's hair, and then pulled Tekka's head down so it was on her shoulder. "I hope I'm right too. If the sky were to change, we would lose the only thing in our entire existence that keeps us stable."
She started to hum a soft melody, the tune light, but drifting everywhere all at once, as if it were being projected through speakers over the city of Hatsu Itonami.

Tekka blinked as her head was pulled onto Kairi's shoulder, but relaxed as she began humming. The day had been great, even with the unexpected gang fight.
They stayed like that for a few moments before a buzzing started in Tekka's pocket. It stopped quickly and she pulled out a small dark blue cellphone. She flipped it open to reveal a text message from her brother.
"'Tek, got into Ookami, freedom finally' huh," She grinned. "Looks like Jack's back in the clans Kai-chan."

Kairi grinned, then looked over Tekka's shoulder at the text, her eyes lighting up. "Ooooh! Tell him I said hi! And tell him I also said congratulations! Now....."
Kairi coughed, before she squealed and enveloped her best friend into a large hug. "Congratulations to you too!"
Kairi danced away from her friend, holding out her arms and spinning. Her wounds hurt, but the moment made her smile. She made sure to keep away from the edge of the bridge. After all, wouldn't want her tumbling off of it. She giggled at the thought.

Tekka squealed and laughed with her friend as they hugged. She quickly sent a response before snapping the phone shut and bounding after Kairi. She spun with her friend, dancing among the stars. For Tekka it was just spins and bounces, but it was fun all the same.
Soon enough she stopped, giggling and out of breath, for a rest. "Whoo..." She laughed out. "The stars are spinning!"

Kairi laughed when Tekka joined her dancing, but before long she had to stop too, the world around her was spinning. "Yeah, it's weird, but......I like it. Everything seems much more....Vivid."
Giggling, Kairi, with care, sat on the edge of the bridge, her legs dangling over the edge. Sure, it was dangerous, especially for Kairi, but she wasn't scared.
Kairi laughed at the thought. "I should probably be scared I'm going to fall, but I'm not."

Tekka laughed. "Insanity gives quite the buzz." She got out before plunking down next to her friend. She decided to not look down, that would be the worst possible thing to do and she wasn't in the mood to give herself vertigo.
She stood up after a few moments and sat on the railing, keeping a good grip with her hands so she wouldn't fall.

Kairi smiled. "This is exactly what I wanted Sai-chan. Some peace, mixed with the usual trouble." Kairi winked. "I always manage to get myself into trouble."
Kairi kicked her legs back and forth. "Sometimes, I feel like I'm burden to people. I feel like I'm too annoying."

Tekka gave a soft smile. "There's no way you're too annoying. Or annoying at all really." She grinned. "You make people happy, whether you know it or not you do. I don't think anyone could find you annoying without, and pardon my french, having a stick surgically placed within their ass."
"As for feeling like a burden, why do you feel like that?"

Kairi smiled. "You don't think I'm too annoying?"
Kairi grinned, then rubbed the back of her head. "I never notice if I make people happy. I just do what I want, and say what's on my mind. And then there's a clumsiness."
Kairi then laughed and had to hold her stomach. "Your French is pardoned."
Her smile faded slightly. "I don't know, just a feeling."

"Then I think we can chalk that up to food poisoning." Tekka grinned. "You saved a little boy today, you help people with their problems, I don't see any signs of being a burden." She swung her legs. "None whatsoever."

Kairi smiled and then hugged Tekka. "Well, we'll chalk it up to food poisoning then."
Kairi ruffled Tekka's hair. "Thanks for being my friend, Sai-chan."

Tekka grinned at the hair ruffling before swinging back and flipping so she fell onto her feet. She wobbled a bit, trying to regain her balance and finally was still. She hugged the older girl. "No problem Kai-chan."
