(OCC: Must... overcome... writer's block... )
Leon shifted a bit as Kairi gave a peck on his forehead. It looked like he'll continue sleeping if he was given the chance. Poor Leon, the previous matter affected him so deeply that he was unable to have a good night sleep for the past few days. If Kairi wasn't there for him, he might accidentally fall off the tower when he passes out because of the lack of proper rest.
Breathing calmly like he had no worries, Leon shifted to his side unconsciously, curling while at it. A few more movement and his head would fall onto the floor. A faint but audible sound could be heard from him. Oddly, he sounded more like purring rather than snoring.

Keisko smiled and sighed at the comment about her mother. She wasn't even sure if her mother was dead but Keisko though she would be proud... being in a clan and yet helping everyone out by working at the hospital.
She grinned at Kairi and Leon. "He does have someone to take care of him... There's the entire Ookami clan!" She laughed. "Besides, if you had never come, he would have never opened up or at this moment, he would be plumenting to his imminent death. But seeing as you are here, he has someone taking care of him."

Kairi kept his head on her lap, and giggled softly as she heard his purr like snore. "He's so adorable."
Though at K-chan's comment, Kairi had to laugh as well. "Ah yes, we are like a family aren't we? One big ole' pack of wolves!" Kairi smiled gently. "I've seen that look on his face, and know it. At first, I was just coming to see the stars, like I always do."
Kairi shrugged and laughed. "But somehow, after making my dramatic entrance of tripping over myself, I knew he was sad. I don't like it when people are sad. They should be happy!"
Kairi's overzealous grin spread across her face. "It takes more energy to frown than it does to smile!"

Keisko's lips quirked into another smile. "That it does..." She said about the muscles comment.
"Everyone has a chance to be happy, they just have to apply it and not refuse it." She said.
She smiled looking at Leon. "He is a cute kid... Just makes you remember how you were at that age..." She said looking at him with a smile on her face.

Kairi let the soft breeze softly filter past her. "And smiling could save a life. You never know how much a smile could save someone walking down the street. You never know, they could heading down the street to a bridge to jump! And a smile their way could save their life, let them know someone notices them."
Kairi patted Leon's head. "I wish I was still Leon's age too. I don't know where I was during that time, but I wish I could go back. I wish I could go back to when I do remember......But the past is the past. It won't give me my future. Only living for now and today will help to live for tomorrow."

"Don't we all, don't we all..." She sighed.
"Well Kairi, it's been great talking to you, but I think I should be getting home... It is late..." She smiled at her, standing up and walking towards the elevator. "And tell little Leon when he wakes up, he can find me at the hospital if he needs someone to talk to... You too..." she smiled again and stepped into the elevator, letting it take her down away from the starry night.

Kairi was sad to see K-chan go, but she simply smiled and gave her a thumbs up, before patting Leon's head. She would let him sleep for a few minutes longer before trying to wake him.
It was late, and he needed to get home. Anything could happen this late, so, determinedly, she shook him gently. "Leon, time to get up. It's late, you need to go home now." She shook him some more. "C'mon, don't be lazy like me."

Leon shifted in his after being shook gently. He turned to his side, squirming as if reluctant to wake up. The place where he was resting his head was too comfortable to leave. Maybe just a few minutes more...
"....Mmm..... five minutes more, mom.... mmm...." Leon muttered in his sleep, before continuing his slumber. He clutched the edge of Kairi's skirt, as if tucking himself under a blanket.

Kairi snorted with trying to muffle her laughter. "But mom made delicious blueberry pancakes~!"
She sang it to him, before tickling his sides for a few moments, before removing him from trying to hide in her skirt. "Come on, wakey wakey, eggs and bakey!"
Kairi couldn't help teasing Leon, but she had to admit how surprised, and shockingly relaxed, she was, when Leon mumbled mom. Smiling widely, she waited for her antics to sink in on poor Leon.

Leon squirmed as Kairi tickled him. He tossed right and left but he couldn't escape. Leon tried to wriggle free but he was half sleepy and half awake to do it right. His legs tried to kick free but there was nothing except air.
"Mom.. it.. tickles..!" already half awake. He had a wonderful dream, where his mom, dad and himself were taking a trip to an amusement park. He didn't want to wake up, knowing all will disappear the instant he opened his eyes...
But he couldn't dwell in the past. Slowly, Leon opened his eyes and found his mother looking at him in a warm manner.
"Mother....?"
Leon blinked several times, and found Kairi looking at him instead of his mother.
"Oh, it's Kairi..." he muttered, astonished. It took him a few minutes to realize that his head was resting on Kairi's lap.
"!"
A slight tint of pink stained Leon's cheek. It looked like he somehow fell asleep on a girl's lap. More importantly, that girl was Kairi. Surprised, Leon rolled down from Kairi's lap, before sitting up.
"Uh... um... did I fall asleep? Sorry..." Leon said in a worried voice while looking at Kairi shyly, before giving a big yawn.

Kairi kept Leon from falling when he started to toss and turn, bringing a large grin to her face.
She remained smiling, even after Leon mumbled the word mom again and started to groggily wake up. She stared into his eyes for a few moments as he woke up and realization dawned on him.
Kairi watched him roll away from her, and giggled. "Don't worry Leon, you didn't upset me. Actually." Kairi ruffled his hair gently. "I don't mind if you call me Mother. But that is entirely up to you. Because we'll still be family if you don't." Kairi gave him wink.
Standing to her feet, she stretched, and held out a hand to the sitting Leon. "Come on, I'll walk you home."

Leon rubbed his eyes, trying to shake off the sleepiness out of him. He gave a big yawn again, indicating that he was still sleepy. Blinking a several times, he stared at Kairi with a dumbfounded look. But it temporary, as it was soon replaced by a contented expression.
It was a long time since he felt the warmth of a person called mother, after the accident ages ago. Leon looked up at Kairi, his eyes beaming with happiness.
"Mm!" Leon gave a exaggerated, cheerful nod before accepting Kairi's hand. He then snuggled himself to Kairi's side while holding her hand.
"Lets walk home together, mother," Leon murmured shyly, resting his head on Kairi's arm. He closed his eyes in happiness, wishing his 'mother' wouldn't just disappear like many years ago.

Kairi laughed as Leon still seemed to be sleepy, and she watched him blink a few times.
When Leon grabbed her hand and snuggled his little body into her side, she ruffled his hair with her free hand.
She heard the shyness in Leon's voice and smiled to herself. "Of course, honey. Where else would we go this late at night?" She winked at him.
Then, as if she had somehow heard his earlier thoughts, as they approached the door that would lead them to the stairs leading out of the Tower, Kairi told him, "I'm not going anywhere, Leon. So, no need to worry."
She opened the door, picked Leon up, and carried him through the door. And behind her, a light breeze blew past, whistling into the night.
