Leon's laughter echoed in the midst of the twilight. He shuddered and twitched to escape, but Kairi's arm was keeping him in place. Soon his eyes were watery, but not out of sadness or misery; but because of the non-stop laughing.
Somehow Kairi thought it was enough, and stopped. Then Kairi hugged him, making Leon dumbfounded for a moment with the warmth poured by her. He closed his eyes and simply nodded, smiling.
"Mm!"
Leon felt something inside him swell. He didn't know what was it, but he felt considerably fluffy inside. Maybe it was because of all the kindness sowed by the girl; someone he barely knows. Maybe that is how it feels to have a big sister who cared for you. Leon gave a small yawn. His eyes were getting heavier as the time passed...
A few seconds later, Leon was fast asleep on Kairi's lap. His face looked so calm; breathing in and out slowly, peacefully. All the crying plus the tickling was indeed a little too much for Leon. His body demanded a rest, even if he didn't voluntarily want it

Keisko made a face at the younger girl messing with her hair, then she smoothed it back down. A small smile played on her lips. "Thanks... honestly it wasn't bad... I've learned to deal with things... I know that my life is hardly as hard as most people's." Then she looked down at the boy in her lap and noticed he was asleep and drooling on her shirt slightly. She giggled lightly at the sight and looked back out at the stars.
"I've noticed that once I settled down, so to speak, that I'm making more friends..." She said thinking all the people she had met and befriended, even in different clans...

Kairi giggled softly to herself when she saw Leon had fallen asleep. Humming the song 'London Bridges', she placed his head in her lap, and started to run her fingers in his hair.
Smiling, she turned to K-chan. "I feel so lucky to have so many friends. Even some friends who aren't in my Clan." Kairi looked to the stars. "Truthfully, I don't like the War.
"I love my friends, and the people I've met. I don't see the point of the Clans." Sighing softly, Kairi glanced down at Leon. "It makes me feel sad that kids like Leon have to grow up in a world where everyone is divided by colors......It feels wrong......." Shaking her head, Kairi grinned largely again. "Or maybe it's just me."

Keisko nodded agreeing. "Yea... I've met so many people from numerous clans... I don't like the war either, but really, who does?" She asked whole heartedly. She knew no one that approved of this war. Not even from the other clans. The only people that did approve of it was the government and it was all their idea anyways... "I feel even worse about the younger children who aren't even old enough to do anything to help this war get over with..." She shook her head and sighed "The whole system is corrupt..."

Kairi nodded sadly. "And the people who can do something about it, are afraid to do it, afraid to stand up against the Government. Truthfully, I've thought about revolting.........
"But it's not the right time yet. As of right now, Hatsu Itonami needs the Government, but when the times that we no longer need the Government to hold us up, I have a feeling a revolution will start." Kairi looked down at Leon. "And kids like Leon will be stuck in the middle. Forced to make a choice between what's right and a false freedom."

Keisko nodded. "All governments are like ours... Nobody will do anything... at least not for a while..."
"All's fair in love and war..." She muttered thinking of the quote her mother had taught her. "We just have to figure out where we belong..." She sighed and laid back.

Kairi nodded. "It's sad to see our world taken over by the Government, so held in the policies of another, the lies they tell us, that we believe are the truths of our existence."
Kairi smiled, keeping a hand on Leon's head, and patting it softly. "And of course everything between it are the people, and children, like Leon."
Kairi's smile almost faded, but she managed to keep it. "I wonder if some of us will ever find where they belong."

Keisko oddly smiled at the statement. "I've found where I belong... right here in Hatsu Itonami... But you know, sometimes it's not about where you belong but who you're with and what you do with your life..." She smiled again thinking of all her real and new friends that she now had. "This war will work out, for better or for worse, its just how we decide to play our own cards in it."

Kairi stretched her arms above her head, yawning very much like a cat. "I don't know where I belong."
With Sai-chan, and Dante, and Leon, and Tsuri-chan....Need I go on? Kairi huffed at her subconscious' sarcastic nature.
She watched the stars, looking at the constellations, and naming them in her head. "Things will get better. As long as their is hope, and as long as people still believe."
She turned her head to check on Leon. He seemed to be doing just fine......Fine enough to drool on her skirt, which caused her to giggle. "He likes to drool in his sleep, doesn't he?"

Keisko's lips quirked into a small smile. "That he does... You know, I don't really think that it's healthy to drool so much..." She said thoughtfully thinking back to all the books she had studied and about her experience at the hospital. Nope, nothing to help that situation.
She reached over and softly closed his jaw.

Kairi tried to hide her giggles. "Maybe he's dreaming about food?"
Kairi patted his head a few times before she leaned back on the palms of her hands. "Sometimes I wonder what's out there, in the sky, I mean. I wonder if something is looking down at us, while we look up at it."
She turned to K-chan with a sheepish smile. "I ask weird questions."

Keisko grinned. "No, not weird, just differnt. They're all very interesting questions and I wish someone in the world had all the answers. That way we could all gang up and steal them from him or her." she laughed lightly.
She layed against the ground, looking up. "I wonder who's looking down on us...?" She muttered thinking about her mother.

Kairi nodded. "I wish, in a way, someone would have all the answers. Then again." Kairi grinned. "I like to find the answers myself."
Kairi smiled and cocked her head to the side. "I hope my parents are. I hope they are proud of me too."
Kairi gently patted Leon's head again, wondering how the boy could sleep through such motions.

Keisko nodded. "I hope my mother is..." She muttered although she wasn't even sure that her mother was dead.
Turning her head to the side she saw the boy still asleep and grinned. "Cute kid... He's just tired from all the emotion running through him." She said knowingly.

Kairi looked at K-chan and nodded. "I'm sure your mother is looking down at you, and I'm sure she's happy you've made a lot of friends."
Kairi sat back up and placed a gentle kiss on Leon's head. "He is such a very cute kid, and a good one at that. He seems so innocent. I hope he has someone to take care of him."
