Eva raised a brow, trying to keep an approving grin from coming up, but failing to do so. "City Hall? Impressive, I guess." she shrugged like it was nothing.
Another thought flickered in her mind. "Shit, that was another reason why I came." she said, standing to her feet and looking over at Jack. "If you're gonna hang around you might as well come with me." she said, shoving her fists in the pockets of her black jacket. "I meant to go see Greg, too, but between fallin' asleep and talkin' to you I sorta forgot 'til now."

Jack blinked and nodded, half surprised by the invitation and half amazed that he didn't have a black eye yet. The smile he had gotten was a good sign, so he was making some sort of headway. "Sure, thanks." He stood up, dusting off his pants and grabbing his jacket before he made his way over to Eva. "Lead the way."

Eva sighed, watching her feet as she moved forward. She didn't have to look where she was going, she had already memorized where Greg's grave was at by now. When she was finally standing at the headstone marked 'Greg Bennson' she sat back down.
The blond sat there quietly for a moment, thinking maybe this could be a good time to get Jack mad again. That smile she brought up a moment ago might have him thinking that he's starting to get on her good side, and she couldn't have him thinking that now could she? "Hey, Greggy." she said, looking at the stone. "I got your 'replacement' here with me, by the way." she added, looking over at Jack to see his reaction to her choice of words. This was quite a challenge for her; it was never this hard for her to hate someone before. Going down to this sort of level was low even for her, but it had to be done. She was not letting anyone else through that wall she had, she simply refused.

Jack frowned, though his eyes weren't exactly classifiable as sad.. "Hey, now that's low!" He protested with a slight hint of amusement on his face. It wasn't much though, talking about that on someone's grave? Not cool. "You don't diss a guy to another guy's face... or grave as the case may be..."

The blond shrugged. "I'm tellin' the truth, ya kinda are." she pointed out. "Down to the strangest of details, you are the new Greg, just not as awesome." She lifted up a finger for each point she made. "Hotaru puts all her trust in you, you have an older brother that hated her, and that I liked for a short time, you chose her over your brother..." she raised a brow, giving him a blank expression. "See what I mean now Lover Boy?"

Jack sighed and sat down too, "Okay, you have a point there." Still, pointing it out on Greg's grave and reminding the guy he was dead (was he listening?) probably wasn't the best way to go about talking to him. Then again, he had never known Greg to begin with, so what'd he know? The Ookami glanced over to the grave and was taken back a bit, back to when he had met Hotaru. Back when she had just been some crying (and very pretty) girl he had met in the graveyard. He gave a wry smile. Oh how the times had changed.

Eva turned her head back to Greg's headstone. "Yeah, well while I can't stand you, knowin' Greggy he's probably grateful for ya." Her eyes got a little watery, but she didn't cry, at least not with the company she had. "He was like my own little brother, me and Boss knew him more than anyone else."

Jack could almost sigh. "Guess I'm not a full replacement, then..." He mused aloud. "After all, you certainly like him much better." He didn't sound too broken up over it, more matter-of-fact than anything else. "Not that I blame you." And he couldn't, really, because you couldn't really replace anyone that you held that near and dear to your heart. Not for awhile, anyway.

Eva nodded, not bothering to look in the Ookami's direction for the time being. "You bet'cha." she agreed. "Just wanted to see how mad I could get'cha was all." she admitted.

Jack rolled his eyes. "Lovely." Though he quieted afterward. If Eva had come here to visit Greg, he probably should stop distracting her. He looked intently over Greg's grave, trying to memorize it. Where it was, especially. Who knew, maybe in a while, he'd want to come here and talk to the fallen Tora.

Eva kept her eyes on Greg's grave for a while before she started talking, this time, she sounded pretty peaceful. "We miss ya, Greg. We're still holdin' on though surprisingly, even without you pointin' out when enough's enough an' all." She would have said more, but once again, she didn't like acting this sort of way around an audience.
The Tora turned her head back to Jack. "Well? You gonna say anythin' to him?" she asked expectantly. "You kinda owe him in a way."

Jack blinked as Eva spoke and gave a shrug before turning his attention back to the grave. "Hi there Greg," He started after a moment. "I guess we were sorta introduced by Hotaru all that time ago..." Another small pause. "She's doing alright if you were wondering, no one's found out about her secret since we go rid of Aiden. I think she's thinking of teaching dance... you knew she used to dance, didn't you?" He wasn't sure why he was asking, Greg wasn't able to reply, was he? "She's damn good at it too."

Eva stayed silent, letting Jack talk for a moment of two. She grinned to herself when he mentioned the dancing thing. Hotaru always did have a weird tendency to bring some of that into her fighting, now that she thought about it.

Jack continued, trying to fill the silence since Eva didn't seem to want to talk. It was a bit more difficult than talking to his mom's grave, he had known her (however briefly) but he certainly hadn't met Greg. "I guess you haven't been up to much, unless there is an afterlife. If so, why are you hanging around here? Go chill with the ancient movie stars or something!" He smiled a little. "Though I guess Eva needs you to stick around to listen to her, so maybe you should hold off on that one..."

The Tora gave Jack a rude look, followed by a smack upside his head. It wasn't as hard as the one she'd given him when she walked in on him and Hotaru kissing at the hospital, but it was still pretty hard. "Dumb-ass." she muttered in an annoyed tone. "I'd be fine without 'im, he can go off to the fuckin' afterlife for all I care if he wants." she insisted.
