"So..." Jack grinned, "If, say, 'my meds suddenly wore off'" He airquoted. "Would I get in trouble for bugging him?"

"Hmm..." Hotaru trailed off in thought. "Guess there's just one way to find out now, huh?" she asked with a grin equal to Jack's.

Jack grinned. "I suppose so." He glanced at his watch before rearranging his face to one of uncontainable excitement and crept out of the booth, sneaking forward to the man. One second passed before Jack tackle-hugged him. "PAPA!!!" He yelled, acting like an oversized toddler.

Hotaru watched as Jack tackled Ray, the waiter. The older man was caught by surprise and nearly fell. "The hell--?!" he yelled as he turned around to see Jack, and a laughing Hotaru from not too far off. "Dammit, Phoenix, get your boyfriend away from me!!"
The Tora stood up from her booth and walked over, trying to wipe the smile off her face. "Sorry, Ray... Someone forgot their meds again..." she trailed off, looking over at Jack. "I swear, sometimes I feel like a parent instead of a girlfriend." she tried looking as annoyed as possible, but for some reason her acting skills weren't as their best that night.
The waiter, however, was not so amused.

By this point Jack had locked his legs around the mans waist and was clinging to him like a monkey, he laughed as the man attempted to get the Ookami off of his back. A few of his blind swipes whacked Jack's skull, but they weren't particularly effective and after a few Jack chomped down on one of the hands, not hard. It wouldn't break the skin though it might have made a mark. He growled, acting as hyper as he had seen the young children at the playgrounds around the city.

The waiter cried out when Jack bit his hand. At this point, the customers around them were getting up to either leave tables or the resturant in general.
Hotaru just stood, a little shocked that Jack acutally bit the guy. It wasn't incredibly shocking by any means, just a little unexpected. "Umm... Come on, Jackie," she said in a sad attempt of getting him off of the waiter. "Let's go back to the booth, huh?" a few giggled escaped her, luckily Ray was too busy trying to get Jack off of him to hear it.

Jack mulled it over for a bit, ignoring the swats aimed for him. Deciding to get over there in the most inconvenient way possible (and to make things just a little tougher on the waiter) the brunette unlatched his legs and pulled himself over the man's shoulders to vault over to Hotaru. He landed and stumbled a bit, giving her a smile before glancing back at the probably-fallen man.

Hotaru tried her best to hold in her laughter, seeing her coworker stumble and nearly fall before catching himself on a near by table. "Phoenix!" he yelled out furiously, red faced. "I'll make sure you get fired over this!!"
That was when the Tora's laughing fit stopped. "N-no, I'm sorry! It was an accident, honest!" she insisted.

Jack's eyes widened and he spun around. "It was my fault!" He said. "She tried to get me to stop, remember?" He didn't want Hotaru to lose her job because of him! All traces of his silliness were gone, he didn't care if he got banned from the Wok, but Hotaru didn't need to suffer because he was being an idiot. "She didn't make me do any of that, I did it all on my own." He had subconsciously stepped in front of Hotaru in a completely ineffectual effort to protect her.

Hotaru looked over at Jack for a moment, then back to Ray. The Tora sighed. "Whatever, let's just go back to the table, Jack." she told him, not wanting to cause much more of a fuss over what was going on. She could find some other place to work, anyway. The Wok was a little stressful to work at.

Jack glanced back at Hotaru, "But Phoenix..." He had to restrain himself from calling her Hotaru or Ru-ru, Vivian had been suspicious enough last time. Still, he trailed off, guilty and unsure of exactly what Hotaru meant by that.

"It's fine." she insisted, grabbing his arm and tugging it slightly. "This place isn't the best to work at anyway." she told him, ignoring the still furious expression on the waiter's face. She turned back to Ray after a moment or two. "Go on, tell Bruce or something." she encouraged.
The waiter just shook his head, still pretty angry. "Smart ass brat." he muttered as he began to walk off. Hotaru hid a grin from coming up on her face. She knew he wouldn't get her fired. Her boss did favor her somewhat.

Jack blinked as Ray stormed off. "You're not in any actual danger, are you?" He asked rhetorically, as he realized exactly what was going on and was pretty sure he had just made himself look like an idiot

Hotaru grinned a little. "Thought I was for a second there." she admitted. "But then I remembered how my boss practically needs me to stick around." she shrugged. "No way he'd fire me without a really good reason."
She giggled a little and tugged his arm again. "Come on, our food should be comin' out by now." Right about then she noticed Riley walking out with two plates. Their drinks were already at the table, more than likely put there while they were messing with Ray.

Jack chuckled. "Well there goes my hero moment for the day." He joked before noting the footsteps and aroma of well-cooked meat. He hurried back to the table with Hotaru, not wanting to miss out on food. After all, it wasn't every day that he ate ribs or was able to spen a meal with his girlfriend. He made a mental note as the plates were set down to at least TRY to use table manners.
