Satoru's eyes widened slightly and he grinned, opening his mouth wide and catching the snack without his hands. He flashed Kage a thumbs up and swallowed the cake after a moment of eating. "Nice toss."
Tekka threw up her arms as he caught it. "GOAL!!" She wasn't sure why she was making a sports reference, but she had done it and that was that.

Hotaru finished the little snack given to her, laughing a bit at what all was going on around her. It had been a while since she had been surrounded by so many people at once, she really missed it.
The ex gang leader took a moment to think about a few things. Everyone was either learning, or already knew how, to use a gun. It would have been proven useful when they went up against Aiden, maybe better than just fists alone... She sort of knew how to use one(after all, you had to have done it to know if you really hated it or not), but she wasn't all that good...
"Umm..." she started reluctantly. "Do you think... maybe I could..." she mumbled the last part under her breath. "Get a little help with guns..." she wouldn't have to start with the basics since she knew it already, she would just need a refresher on it, though her pride wouldn't even let her spit the words out properly.

Satoru glanced over to Hotaru and gave a shrug. "Sure, whatever." Her aim was pretty good last he had seen, and he was fairly sure that starting her off on the moving targets would work well enough. "Watch Jack and the little thief and join in after that." He glanced at his watch. "And the ten minutes are up. Jack, Thief, places." He gestured to two marked lines on the grass.
Tekka gave a two-fingered salute and hurried to her spot, Jack gave Hotaru a smile and did the same. Satoru pressed the button on his concealed remote as he moved over to hand Hotaru a gun. "Kage, correct them."
Both the King siblings fired at the spinning disk, both missing it completely as it hurtled into the distance. "And break it if they don't." Satoru tagged on.

The training had stayed etched in Kage's mind, even over the couple of years since he had first been hired by Satoru. Thus, it was one hypersonic, deadly motion that carried one of the big revolvers from its belt to the aiming position, to firing a slug that made quick work of the flying target.
"It's like playing a video game," the giant explained. "You'll never hit your opponent if you shoot the spot that's about to become vacant. Remember your aiming pose, and aim as fast as possible. Also, try and predict which path the disc will take."

Satoru had sent out a call for Mina as Hotaru spoke, and the woman came out of the building spinning a pistol on her finger. She gave a wave to Kage before grinning at Hotaru. "So you're the prodigy," She chuckled. "Good ta meetcha. Here's your gun." She passed over the pistol and gave a small bow. Before giving a salute and heading back into the building.
Satoru sighed. "I know you know how to shoot, so I won't have to teach to the basics, watch and listen, and join in when you think you've got it."
Tekka and Jack nodded at Kage, waiting for the next disk. Satoru obliged them and sent out a second.
Jack was the one that managed to hit it, Tekka had over anticipated its speed and missed, Jack had as well, but he hadn't shot fast enough to make it miss. Still, it worked.

Hotaru gave a timid "thanks" to the woman. The prodigy thing was starting to get annoying, it was Eva's fault the nickname was there in the first place. She sighed, pushing that thought aside, and got ready for the disk to spring out.
She managed to hit the disk, though not as well as she should have. It wasn't a bad shot, but the whole prodigy talk was wanting her to get it better than how she had hit it that time. Now she was REALLY starting to hate that name...

Kage nodded toward Jack and Phoenix, making a mental memo to find out the ex-redhead's real name when this was done. After all, she had told them when they first met that he'd learn her name if he played his cards right. In the giant's opinion, pulling strings to help get training to stop a terribly misguided big brother was a good use of his cards.
"Remember to keep an eye on the target's speed," Kage advised, mostly to Tekka. "The good news is that in a fight, an opponent who means business will go at their full speed all the time, so if you can learn what that maximum velocity is, you can quickly prepare and hit your mark. The same goes with these targets, so on the next one, see how well you've managed to learn their speed." Secretly, the enormous Tora was wondering just when Cort intended him to start launching targets from the other launcher. He'd probably give some sort of signal...

Tekka nodded, getting ready for the next target. Jack grinned and did the same as his sister, he quickly schooled his features after a glare from Satoru. Another one directed at the small thief silenced her chuckling at the pianist.
Satoru pushed the button again, sending another of the discs hurtling out over the practice field. Tekka and Jack leaped at the chance to shoot firing and hitting the disc head-on.
The crippled gunslinger glanced to his old student, giving a nod. The next time was his.

Seconds after the first projectie was hit, Kage pressed the button on his secret remote discreetly. Sooner or later, he'd start firing at the same time as Cort. Two targets would be harder to keep track of at the same time, but no one denied the possibility of Aiden having a teammate.

Hotaru was ready for the first disk this time, and actually got another decent shot at it. She barely saw the second one, however, and missed that one completely. The brunette sighed quietly, more than a little irritated with herself. Maybe she should stop holding herself up to such high standards?

Tekka had fired the second she saw the next disc, managing to hit it more on luck than on anything else. She was getting a bit on-edge. Loud noises and a bit of nerves bundled together to create the slight tension, but in a way it was exhilarating. She was actually learning something useful, something to keep herself and others safe. If she thought of it that way, it wasn't so bad.
Jack frowned as he missed the disc, he hadn't been expecting it so soon. Then again, this was Satoru he was talking about, he should start expecting the unexpected. He got ready for the next shot, glancing to Hotaru and giving a half-grin and a shrug. A 'what can ya do?' sort of carefree look. He quickly averted his eyes at a growl from Satoru.
The gunslinger in question stopped his growl once Jack got his focus back. He flicked the button again, four resounding cracks as the Kings fired. Both hits.

Without waiting for Cort's signal, Kage pressed the button twice, about two seconds apart. The giant began to wonder if perhaps these remotes had a way to control launch speed. If they were trying to simulate a situation with multiple opponents, then that option would be wise. Not everyone moved at the same rates, after all.

Tekka moved almost without thinking, thriving on instinct more than anything else. Three shots then a few clicks. She looked down at her gun, puzzled before she realized that it was probably out of ammo. She glanced sheepishly at the grass as Jack managed to hit the other disc.
Satoru let another disc go, tossing more ammunition to Tekka before going again. There was a dial on the side to control the speed, but right now he was going to keep with the high speed ones.

Hotaru was prepared this time, expecting it to get more difficult. She was getting use to thee feel of the weapon again, as much as she hated to admit it. Her shots were a lot better this time around, making her grin to herself. All she needed was a little refresher with the weapon, and a reminder that she could actually use something, even if she didn't like it.

Kage kept launching the discs at random intervals between Cort's timing. He'd wait a bit beforer changing the speed on the other launcher, though. Such a change would suit the growth of the King siblings and Phoenix's reflexes. Not that Phoenix or Tekka really needed a reflex enhancer. The giant didn't know much about the taller Tora girl, but it seemed as though she was no stranger to fighting, so it could be surmised that she was quick to react. Tekka, well... she was a thief. Such a trade called for speedy, nimble movements. Kage had to resist shaking his head; he had no idea why his focus was drifting from training to the hobbies of his friends.
