Tekka corrected her stance, switching her feet to match up with what Kage had prescribed. It felt weird, but if it would help she wouldn't complain... much. "Like this?" She asked, feeling the tremors already. Man, she was DEFINITELY gonna have sore arms later. Nothing that a good night of sleep wouldn't fix though.
-----------
"Move your arms up." Satoru commanded, swatting Jack over the head. It was becoming a habit every time the Ookami messed up his shot. Especially after Satoru had told him what to do. "And don't jerk your finger back on the trigger, it has to be a smooth pull." He was probably nitpicking, but he had a right to.
Another inch-off shot. Another clout to the head.
"Shoot twice and grip it harder. Strangle the damn thing if you have to!"
"Oh I'll strangle something all right..." Jack muttered to himself as he received another hit from his new teacher and the advice of 'shut up and focus on the front sights, what are you, blind?' Though as much as Jack hated to admit it, he always had done better when trying to show someone up or prove someone wrong. And his shots were steadily improving.

Kage nodded to Tekka and glanced over at Jack and Cort. He remembered quite well how much he had irritated the older Tora, but Tekka's brother seemed to downright piss the teacher off.
"Now, make sure your arms are straight out, and focus on the front sights," the giant instructed gently. On some level, he was amazed at how he and Satoru differed. "Go ahead, give it another go. Remember to shoot twice. Always shoot twice."

Tekka blinked at Jack and Satoru and the one-sided yelling match that was taking place between them. "Wonder what pissed Limpy off..." She was trying out nicknames for the gunslinger, and she needed to find one that worked. 'Limpy' didn't quite fit. The thief turned back to the target after another moment, keeping her arms straight and focusing on the front sights. Everything else blurred out and she fired twice. One shot managing to half-hit the bulls eye, the other going wider and still managing to stay within an inch of her target. The blond grinned.
-----------
Jack was about six seconds from shoving his pistol down Satoru's throat. Then he realized that a) Satoru hadn't hit him this time and b) he had just landed a bulls eye. The second shot hadn't gone straight through, but he was getting closer. Satoru seemed at least a little pleased by this.
"Second pull was jerky and you weren't holding it tight enough. Do it again." The Tora critiqued. Jack sighed, (earning himself another strike over the head) and did as he was told.

Cort being present was perhaps the only thing that kept Kage from picking Tekka up that instant and giving her a victory hug. She seemed to be picking it up a lot quicker than her brother, but then again, one could attract flies a lot more easily with honey than with gunpowder.
"Great job, darling!" encouraged the giant, a huge grin breaking through the social-awkwardness-induced shock. "Just remember that to keep the kickback from taking away from your shot, you have to hold the gun really tight. Also, be sure to grip it as close to the top as possible. Also, it's a good idea to work on your aiming speed. I'd like you to relax again, then aim as quick and as accurately as you can and fire."

Tekka nodded and relaxed her muscles, dropping the gun and repositioning it in her hand. It was a small relief to let the arm relax, unfortunately it wasn't to last. The tiny teen brought her arm back up fast and resumed the grip and stance that she had earlier, firing twice a moment later.
She was rewarded with two clean holes at the edge of the bullseye. Almost perfect, but not quite.
------------
Jack wasn't faring too much better, but he wasn't doing worse. The Ookami was also moving onto this step, Satoru laying off the nitpicking until the Ookami had made his shots as part of a silent agreement. The brunette mirrored his sister and managed to land two bullseyes. He beamed.
Satoru, for once seemed satisfied for a moment. "Now do it again." This time Jack readily complied.

Kage stared at the single hole made larger by two bullets that had gone along the same path and placed a hand on Tekka's shoulder, grinning like some sort of child who had just picked up a long-awaited video game.
"That's good, Tekka," the older Tora praised. "Your speed is admirable; a helluva lot better than mine, at least. Even still, let's try it again. Get as close to the bull's-eye as possible this time, and don't let the gun get the best of you." Teaching his girlfriend how to do this made Kage wonder just why Cort was always so somber when he did it. With the proper encouragement, progress was assured. Kage was even relatively sure that Tekka had improved a bit faster than Jack.

Tekka nodded and relaxed again, only to whip her arm back up and get back into the stance before firing twice. Two bullseyes, not the exact same hole, but the difference wasn't too much. It wouldn't really make a difference in a fight. The Tora gave a cheer and pumped her fist in the air. "Two bullseyes!" She was feeling pretty good about this, and it was getting better with each passing shot.
-----------
Jack managed to get two clean shots through the bullseye, though Satoru still wasn't happy with his draw speed. "In an fight you're not going to have enough time to aim well. Do it again."
The Brunette blew a few hairs out of his eyes and did as bidden. As long as he wasn't getting whacked over the head, he didn't mind the criticism. He needed to get better anyway. Aside from that, he was determined not to go berserk. They already had one madman on the loose, they didn't need a second.

It was getting steadily harder for Kage not to do a victory jig. After all, the humungous Tora had the distinct feeling that he was probably doing a better job of teaching than his own teacher was. He settled for looking down at Tekka, placing a hand on her shouulder, and grinning widely.
"All right," instructed Kage. "Let's do it one more time, and then we'll try some drills, okay?" He didn't really have too many ideas on how to do said drills, but it was important to be able to respond quickly to short phrases when that was the only way to communicate in a fight.

Tekka nodded and repeated the motion, another two clean shots. Strangely enough, both of the King siblings seemed to be mirroring each other, firing shots simultaneously and getting clean shots through the bulls eye with a huge 'BANG!'
The King siblings looked at each other, blinking.
Satoru sighed. "At least you didn't get beaten by your little sister." He said, gesturing for the three to follow him. "We're heading out back, whoever you're fighting isn't going to be standing still." He said with a grin. "Time for some moving target practice, and listen for what Kage and I say."

Kage had to resist the urge to gulp. Yes, he was fairly certain that Cort had worked with him on moving targets, but the giant's memory was completely fuzzed out when it came to that part of his training. He stuck with the group, again placing a hand on Tekka's shoulder. If he'd be working with her, things would turn out okay, at least.

Satoru opened a back door, keeping the earmuffs-headset combo on. Guns were loud no matter where you shot them, and when they were blowing stone Frisbees to shrapnel the noise was worse. "Alright, fire like you did in there, only make sure that you aim for where the target is going to be, and not where it is when you pull the trigger. You'll fire when I give the signal, Jack. Tekka, you'll fire when Kage tells you to."
Jack and Tekka nodded, glancing around for what they'd be firing AT.
Satoru fingered a small controller in the pocket of his jacket, it would control when the discs would be shot. Kage would have been slipped one by one of the passing employees if all had gone according to plan. The giant SHOULD know what to do with it.

Kage ran his large fingers over the little device that one of the workers had randomly given him. Since they had seemed rather secretive about it, the giant assumed that Tekka probably wasn't supposed to know he had it.
"Like I said," the second oldest present Tora repeated. "Drills. And not the yellow alien kind." To be honest, Kage had no idea that Cort was going to be giving them training using the skeet equipment. Aiden was quick, though, so it'd probably end up being helpful.

Hotaru and Eva followed Egil out to see Satoru and the others. It looked like they were about to start whatever it was they were doing next. The blond woman grinned a little.
"Ey, Toru!" she shouted to get his attention. "How 'bout givin' them a break?" she asked. After the kind of training she put Hotaru through, she'd probably want to talk to Jack for a little bit. Besides, from the looks of things, it was probably best for everyone to stop for a moment or two.

Tekka smiled. "Yeah Toru, we could use a little break." Jack especially, he had gotten smacked around a bit, though there didn't appear to be any real damage.
Satoru sighed waving them off. "Fine, ten minutes. Then you're running the drill." Ten minutes was plenty of time in his opinion, besides, there was work to be done if the pair wanted to be effective against this monster of theirs. The announcement was met with whoops of joy from the two gunslingers-to-be and a hug from Tekka that he immediately shoved away.
Jack bounded over to Hotaru, glad to see that she wasn't seriously hurt. "Ru-ru!" He exclaimed as he gave her a hug. He made sure not to squeeze too tight, after all, she had probably just been through a lot with Eva and... whoever the bond giant was. Eddy or something, Jack didn't really remember.

Hotaru's smile widened as she hugged Jack. "How ya doin'?" she asked him after the hug. "Thing's goin' alright so far?" She was wondering how much longer it would take for them to be done, but she didn't ask.
Eva just stood back and let the group talk. She really didn't have a purpose there at the time being. She leaned up against one of the near by walls and closed her eyes.
