Kage was shaken out of his regular hug-induced trance by the revived topic of why this meeting was underway. Reluctantly, the giant set Tekka down and looked from one brunette to the next. Two things hit him at that point; first, that Phoenix was now a brunette instead of a redhead, and second, if Kage had heard Tekka correctly, the Ookami was her other brother, Jack. The giant couldn't decide at that point whether he was uneasy at having a King sibling other than Tekka there, or relieved that Jack wasn't trying to turn him into s'mores. Also, Kage wanted to say something, but there wasn't much he could add. It was at these times that he wished he were a bit more socially adapted.

Satoru nodded. "Alright then, everyone inside." Mina, Egil, and a few other employees were working the usual customers and had been instructed to stay out of their hair. He doubted it would stop Mina, but the others would obey... until lunch at least.
The King Siblings followed the man into the range, both looking around with wide eyes.

Eva and Hotaru weren't as in awe by the surroundings as the Kings were, they had been in this place hundereds of times before. Hotaru walked in between Eva and Jack, holding her boyfriend's hand the whole time. The blonde couldn't help but look a little uneasy at this. She had nothing against Jack, she didn't even know the guy, but dammit, Hotaru and Greg were suppose to be meant for each other! Would've happened too, if he didn't die...
Hotaru had something completely different on her mind. She didn't want a gun in her hands even if her life depended on it, but she was in desperate need to get back into fighting. She didn't know how everyone else would feel if she just dragged Eva away to start training her again and left them all there.

Kage walked in beside Tekka, one of his enormous hands closed around one of her tiny ones. The giant Tora's expression was nearly the same as his girlfriend's and her brother's, but only because it had been so long since he'd been there. Seeing the familiar front room reminded Kage of his first day there; gallavanting with his mysteriously perfect aim, getting Cort irritated, and freaking himself and Mina out during lunch. He couldn't stop trying to mentally smack himself out of this whole social anxiety thing, though. For some reason, the giant's brain wouldn't let him make a decent contribution if it counted five or more people in the present situation... even if they were his friends and girlfriend.

Jack squeezed Hotaru's hand, it was easy enough to tell that she didn't want to be there. Unfortunately he wasn't exactly sure how to go about doing it. Right now they were in Satoru's domain and he was pretty sure all decisions made by the shorter man were final.
Luckily for Hotaru, Satoru also picked up on her distress. "Eva," He began. "Take your protege and teach her how to fight her way, it'd be pointless trying to teach her how to shoot." He paused. "And try and find Egil if you need a sparring partner for her or something. He's a big blond Scandinavian." The description was short, but he was pretty sure she knew who he was referring to. "The rest of you," He looked at the remaining three. "Are going to come with me."
Since they weren't going to be employed, he'd teach them how to shoot, but not the inner workings of the weapon. "Kage, you're gonna help teach. I'm assuming you haven't forgotten everything I taught you and you better not disappoint me."

Eva nodded. "Sure thing." she turned back to Hotaru. "C'mon, time to toughen up again." she grinned, glad that she didn't have to train the girl in front of everyone. Didn't want to start and get to the point to where her boyfriend might wanna step in if he thought she had had enough. Eva knew Hotaru's boundaries, this wasn't her first time fighting.
"Alright." agreed the gray-eyed Tora. She hugged Jack for a moment and kissed his cheek. "Try not to blow up the place." she grinned before waving to the others. "See you guys later." she said, going off to follow Eva.

Kage managed to get enough control of his own mind to nod dutifully toward Cort. Why was this happening to him? Did he even remember the stuff about guns that Satoru had taught him? Maybe, but it was all instinct now... The giant thought that having Tekka there would make him more able to function, and he'd never been shy around Phoenix or Cort before... Was it Jack's presence, perhaps? Or maybe Eva, who was a complete stranger to Kage?

"I give no guarantees." The Ookami smiled, returning the kiss and hug before returning his attention to the matter at hand. He was here for a reason after all. He couldn't help but notice the hand holding that was going on between the silent giant he had met at a bar one night and his sister, and he made a note to check it out later.
Satoru's eye twitched. "Kage, I hope I don't have to bribe you with pizza to get you to speak." He then gestured for the small group to take earmuffs off of the wall. "And you brought the guns that need repair, correct?" He said, looking at his old employee and friend. If he had brought the two guns he had now, he hoped he had brought the others.
Tekka raised her hand. "Actually, I've got 'em, or some of 'em anyway." She unzipped the front of her sweatshirt (the days were getting a bit colder now) and took out three of the busted handguns, her good ones were also there in special pockets sewn into the jacket.
"A thief?" Satoru asked, only to be met with a pair of synchronized nods.

"Uh..." hesitated Kage. It was really starting to bug the noof out of him, this whole not being able to speak thing. "That... won't be necessary, Cort..." With his free hand, the giant rubbed at the back of his head, resisting the urge to shake his head since its long hair had recently been reduced to the length of a half-inch. "Just, uh... Stuck in my own brain, s'all." That wasn't the half of it, but Kage'd never hear the end of it from Cort if he let it slip that he couldn't say anything significant because there were too many people there.

Satoru gave Kage a long look and nodded. "Alright then. I'll get Mina to fix these and have you work with the blond. I'll work with her brother on this one." He'd be sure to keep an eye on how the training was going though, there wouldn't be any slacking on his watch.
Tekka pumped her fist in a silent cheer and Jack held back a groan. Tekka would be alone with Kage? She didn't seem to mind, and that helped a bit, but that left him with Satoru who he was fairly sure didn't like him.
"Now follow me." Satoru ordered, placing the guns in the hands of his aforementioned worker who gave a friendly wave to Kage before dartingoff to do what she did best. The ex-criminal led the small group into the shooting range itself, and Tekka and Jack were immediately grateful for the earmuffs.

Kage nodded gratefully at Cort and managed to keep up with the group as they headed to the shooting range. His old teacher clearly recognized the bond between the giant and Tekka (who couldn't, though? It was rather obvious), and had apparently figured out Kage's problem without having to call him out on it. He reached down and picked up one of his huge revolvers to show his girlfriend how it was done first.
"If you'll step this way, m'dear," invited the giant, gesturing with his gun hand toward an empty target.

Tekka did as bidden, keeping an close eye on Kage. As much as she wanted to goof off and joke around, it probably wasn't in her best interest to do so. Right now she needed to focus.
Jack was doing about the same as Satoru sent a bullet through the bullseye. "By the time you leave here," The darker-haired man said. "You're going to pull that off easily." This was said with a good deal of conviction and Jack gave a smile and a nod as he was passed a revolver.

Once they had gotten to the designated targets, Kage officially set his mind on Gunslinger Mode. He let go of Tekka's hand and aimed in an instant, sending a slug slashing through the bull's-eye. A second one immediately followed, as was the instinct taught to the giant by Cort.
"It may look like one fluid motion," informed Kage. "but aiming a handgun is actually a pretty involved process." The older Tora moved aside and gestured for his girlfriend to step up. "Now it's your turn. First, let's see whatcha got."

Tekka had made sure to know how to work her Smith & Wesson before coming here so she wouldn't embarrass herself too much. If it was one thing the Tora hated, it was unintentionally making a fool of herself.
She stepped up, mimicking Kage's stance as best she could and taking a few seconds to aim before firing twice at the target. Both shots were low and to the right of the bulleye by a half a foot each. Tekka frowned. She HAD to do better. The thief turned to her boyfriend. "What'd I do wrong?"
----------
Jack was being met by similarly limited success, he had hit it closer to the bullseye, but only by an inch or two. Satoru sighed at him. "Straighten your arm and don't lean. One foot forward and the other behind you. Aim with the front sights and grip the pistol as hard as you fuckin' can."
The Ookami sighed and tried again, and was met with a hole a few inches closer to the target. He smiled. Satoru growled. "Fire two shots every time, you only get one chance to hit the target so make sure you get it done right."
Yup, a LONG day. He just hoped Hotaru was doing better with her training.

"It's all about keeping steady," advised Kage. "Keep the foot on the same side as your good hand back, and then plant the other one forward. Put your shoulders forward as well, and keep your arms straight. You've probably noticed the tremors going up your arm, and unless you're me and have my problems, they most likely feel pretty weird." Before the giant could put checks and balances on his words, it was already out. Kage suddenly found himself wondering if anyone would think it too weird that his arms randomly twitched from time to time.
