Hotaru started playing with her hair a little at his suggestion. "I know I should, but natural redheads are hard to find these days, it makes me feel unique." she laughed slightly before sighing. "But I guess you're right, can never be too sure, after all..."
She thought about it for a little longer. "Could you see me being more of a brunette or a blond?" she asked him, half as a joke, half curious.

His response was immediate. "Brunette. Blond wouldn't look quite right with your complexio-" He stopped himself. "What the hell am I talking about?" He seemed genuinely terrified about the words he had spoken. As if he couldn't honestly believe that he was pointing out what he was pointing out. His face was a mask of mortification.

Hotaru blinked, tilting her head to the side a little. "Hm?" she asked, confused. "What do you mean?" she asked once again. Why did he look so terrified? Not like he was exactly giving her a compliment on accident or anything...

"I shouldn't know that!" He moaned, head falling to his hands. "Why do I know that?" It probably had something to do with Chika's fashion magazines mysteriously winding up in his room. She was trying to hint to him that he should change his wardrobe, and through his constant discarding of the documents (via burning) she began talking. Something must have sunk in...

The redhead couldn't help but let out a small giggle at Aiden's reply. "It's nothing bad." she insisted. "I mean, it's not like you go around talking about people's outfits matching or anything." she laughed a little more. "And I'll make sure not to tell anyone, either. Not even Jack." she added.
The Tora looked at her red hair once more. "So... brunette then?" she asked him.

Aiden took a deep breath, calming himself down from the momentary terror. "Thanks." He said after a moment of wrestling with his inner 'don't thank her you moron!' mentality. "And yeah, definitely brunette. Though you'd just look plain weird if you went too dark." She honestly would. Kinda like a vampire, though one of the older ones like Dracula and not one of the sparkling twilight ones.

"So brunette, but not too dark, gotcha." she said, nodding a bit to herself. "Guess my next stop'll be the store then to buy some dye." she laughed.
She frowned slightly for a moment. "Hey," she said, suddenly remembering how the two would normally behave around each other. "Why're you suggesting all this stuff to hide my identity? I'd think you'd be the one person that'd want me caught and all..." she trailed off, truly curious as to why he would even point these things out to her.

He mulled this one over, reaching his conclusion rather quickly. "Because if you get spotted around Jack, he'll get in trouble too." The large Ookami gave a shrug. "Aside from that, I'm a bit puzzled too. I'm not always this lucid though..." He sighed, another thread of thought escaping him. At this rate he'd run out of the serenity he came here to find. He was almost positive that he wasn't insane or diseased or anything, but he hadn't had enough time playing his music before Hotaru had arrived.

Hotaru shrugged. "Makes sense." she said. "... Is me being here for too long bothering you?" she asked him. She was honestly surprised they had kept up a decent conversation for this long without one of them snapping at the other or something worse.

"If you don't mind me playing a little music now and again, we should be fine." He said, fingers tracing over the saxophone as the light of the day finally began vanishing from the sky and gleamed across the brass surface.

Hotaru shook her head. "Don't mind at all, I like listening to people play music." she told him. "But seriously, if you get to the point where you don't want me up here or anything just let me know." She really didn't want to end the day in another fight.

He chuckled. "Don't worry, I won't hesitate to kick you out. I'd rather not explain to the teachers why they'd have to get up early pick up your splattered remains from the pavement."

"I see." she commented sarcastically. "Always watchin' out for others." she said as she sat down, feeling slightly more confortable than when she first arrived to the school. "You play music very often?" she asked him.

He sighed. "Not as much as I used to, the government kept me from it for awhile and now I'm typically so busy tracking you and that Kyle guy down that I don't have a lot of free time." He gave a shrug. "I just play whenever I start stressing now..."

Hotaru nodded. "Guess that's sorta like me. I've started dancing again recently, but only when I'm stressed out." she shrugged. "Which actually has been a lot lately. It's just makes me feel free, ya know?" she asked him.
