Hotaru normally wasn't one for dressing up, or jewelry, or any of that stuff, but considering the occasion she couldn't see why not. At the moment, she was sitting down at the bar in the Allure waiting for Jack to show up. Her dress was an emerald green sort of color, complimenting her hair which was much straighter than usual(she had finally used the straighter Cross had bought her for once) and made it seem even longer. She was careful not to over do anything, such as makeup and jewelry, so she only wore a thin silver necklace and a very small, almost unnoticeable amount of makeup around her eyes. She also made sure the heels she was wearing weren't too tall before she left her house, she wanted to have fun after all. Kinda hard to do when you're uncomfortable.
The redhead took a small sip out of the water she had recently ordered. She was kind of nervous for some reason, she hadn't really dressed up like this before, she hoped Jack would like it.

Jack actually looked pretty nice for once, courtesy of Chika, who had stopped by the house after her disappearance to stay for awhile. She had found out about the date and insisted to help, and Jack wasn't about to say no to the girl that knew what hurt most when hit with drumsticks. He wasn't dressed up too much, a nice long-sleeved shirt that apparently went well with his eyes and dark navy pants. The redhead had wanted to comb his hair and he had drawn the line. No one alive was allowed to comb his hair, save Hotaru, and even then it would have to be for something REALLY important.
The Ookami opened the door to the Allure and stepped in, his senses immediately assaulted by the pulsating lights and music and all the people. The smell of colognes and perfumes made his nose twitch initially. It was easy enough to get over after a few moments had passed and he walked in, looking around for Hotaru.

Hotaru kept her seat at the bar for a little longer before standing up and looking around for her boyfriend. He had to of been here by now, and she felt like a loser sitting at the bar by herself for a long period of time. After looking around for a little bit she finally found the Ookami not too far off, but with the crowd of people around it was probably hard for him to spot her.
She grinned a little to herself and decided to sneak around the people and walk up behind Jack. When she was close enough she hugged him from behind. "Someone's looking good tonight." she laughed a little.

Jack's eyes widened a bit as someone hugged him, only to realize a moment later who it was. He turned as best he could to return the hug as a faint blush crept up on his face. "You can thank Chika, she barely let me through the door without trying to perfect the details." Though he supposed it paid off, even if having a redheaded drummer chase him through the house with a comb until he bolted out the door was the price. He looked Hotaru over, 'Stunning' floating through his mind as he fingered a lock of hair. "You straightened your hair?" he wondered idly.

Hotaru blushed slightly. "Yeah, thought it'd be nice to dress up a little." she said. "Do I look alright...?" she asked, a little worried about his opinion. It was weird for her to be so worried about her appearance for once, she was starting to understand why so many other girls took their time to look so dolled up everyday.

Jack gave her a quick kiss. "Beautiful, Ru-ru." He said honestly. There wasn't a woman in the world more beautiful than Hotaru tonight, or at least that's how he felt about it.

Hotaru blushed a little more and kissed him back, feeling herself relax more now that she knew he liked it. She looked over at the dance floor for a moment. She couldn't wait to get in there, but she could control herself for a little longer...
The redhead looked back at Jack, grinning a little. "Okay, I'll be nice and let you drink a little if you want." she told him. She didn't see the harm in it for once, and she didn't think he'd go over board with it with her around.

Jack caught the glance toward the dancefloor and shrugged. "I'll have a drink after we dance, I think." Well, here went... everything, actually. In a crowd... dancing... that wasn't something he was very used to. He'd give it a shot but the Ookami knew that he'd much rather be playing the music than dancing to it.
Well, whatever. If it made Hotaru happy it was worth it. He wanted to always see a smile on her face.

Hotaru's eyes lit up in excitement. "Sounds good to me!" she exclaimed before taking his hand and tugging him over to the dancefloor. She hadn't really danced like this before, she had never had a reason to, but she was a quick study and had been watching a few people before Jack had arrived. She should be alright, she was almost positive.
She started off a little slow, just trying to get the hang of the beat of the music, but pretty soon she found herself getting taken away by the music. She closed her eyes for a moment and relaxed even more. It felt good just let lose like this. She opened her eyes and looked at Jack. "Show me what you can do!" she grinned.

Jack had taken his time to just watch, trying to figure out what the hell he was supposed to do. It wasn't as easy as the redheaded Tora made it seem, he knew that, but it at least bolstered his confidence a little. He gave a small grin, the nervousness not quite fading, and started to dance with her.
Granted, it was easier than if he had just been dancing on his own. There was something about his girlfriend's skill with dance that made up for the missteps he made. He could blame a few of the misses on the crowd, but it was mostly the lack of focus he guessed.

The Tora watched Jack as she continued to dance. He wasn't perfect by any means, but he wasn't bad either, there were people much much worse trying to dance not too far off.
Hotaru put her arms over his shoulders and pulled herself closer to him. Rather than yelling over the music and killing her throat she spoke into his ear. "This isn't so bad now, is it?" She hoped he thought so, she knew he wasn't really one to dance.

Jack couldn't help but blush a little. "I guess not..." He admitted, holding her close. The music seemed to be a bit slower this song, so they could probably even pass this off as dancing if they felt like it. And as long as Jack didn't trip, then he couldn't possibly mess this one up.

Hotaru smiled, kissing his cheek before resting her chin on his shoulder. She didn't think she could be any happier at the moment. "If it starts to get a little too hard for you we can head over to the bar." she told him, referring to the dancing.

A laugh managed to escape Jack's throat. "Ru-ru, if it starts to get hard I'm just gonna suck it up and take it like a man." Because honestly, it couldn't just randomly get hard unless they started swing dancing or something. He got tired just WATCHING people do it.

"Oh, I know," she smiled. "Just letting you know the option's there, I've noticed that blush of yours." she laughed. It was kinda funny that she wasn't the one getting red this time. Then again it probably had to do with her feeling comfortable on the dancefloor.
