Jack smiled and blushed just a bit from the kiss. "I'd say it's been pretty awesome." Aside from one or two outsiders trying to butt in, it had actually been all-out awesome. A basket of chicken and a coke was set down, along with a glass of water. Jack sent the bartender a thankful look and received a two fingered salute in return.

Hotaru sat up straight when the basket of food came over. She wasn't really hungry now that she thought about it, but she was getting a little thirsty. "Water, please?" she asked the bartender. A couple of moments later another ice cold glass was put in front of her and she thanked him before he went on his way. "Didn't get to finish my last glass." she muttered before taking a sip.

Jack started on the chicken. "I guess, but I can't believe you're not hungry..." It was astounding. How did girls do it? The Ookami was practically starving thanks to all the dancing (and running from Chika, but that didn't count), there had to be some kind of secret passed through all girl-kind. Something that the brunette was sure he'd never understand.

The Tora laughed and sat her drink down. "Well, girls are made different than guys." she pointed out to him. She actually didn't get too hungry all that much, there were times in the past when someone(usually Greg or Eva) would force her to eat to keep from getting sick. It was odd, she'll admit to it, but that was just how she was.

"Made different or not, I'm still surprised." Everyone had to eat at some point though, right? You could go for a long time without, but still... He gave himself a mental smack, Hotaru ate! He had seen her eat! Why was he worrying when he himself had gone long stretches without being hungry? Idiot...

Hotaru shrugged. "Either way, I can assure you I'm eating plenty." It wasn't like she had an eating disorder, she didn't think so anyway. "Just not hungry right now." she smiled.

Jack gnawed on another chicken strip and shrugged. "I know, just... probably just a guy thing." He gave a sheepish grin. Or an older brother thing. He worried about certain people, Hotaru was at the top of his list.

The Tora laughed. "Probably." she agreed. "But..." she trailed off, eyeing the basket of chicken in front of him. "The more I look at it the more I'm reminded how much I love chicken." she grinned, reaching over and taking one from the basket. "Don't mind, do ya?" she asked with a giggle.

Jack nudged the basket closer to her. "Not at all." His fingers dove for another strip of the crispy chicken, dunking it in a cup of BBQ sauce and munching happily. Ra, he had missed being able to go out with Hotaru. Their last few outings (he wasn't sure if a date was the right word) had been overshadowed by Aiden, and now that he wasn't a problem, they could just relax and enjoy themselves.

Hotaru smiled an took a bite out of the strip. "Mmm." she couldn't help but mutter. The redhead looked over at Jack for a moment, smiling to herself. She was glad they had come out here tonight, she was really having a good time.

Jack smiled wider, then absently wondered what time it was. He didn't have to work tomorrow (thank god, he was going to sleep as much as he could) but he did have to get a few things ready before Monday. He was working with young kids so it wouldn't be that hard, but he didn't want to mess up.
His thought process was interrupted as a drunk man fell by them, he grabbed Jack's leg to pull himself up and the Ookami tipped over, crashing to the floor on top of the drunkard (who thankfully passed out).

Hotaru was startled when Jack was pulled down. She jumped to her feet and went over to help him. "Are you okay?" she asked him, holding her hand out to him. She kept her attention away from the drunken man, she didn't want to risk him waking up and causing any trouble, she hated dealing with drunk people.

Jack took Hotaru's hand and pulled himself back up into his chair. "I'm fine, can't say the same for this guy..." He said, toeing the fainted form gently.

"Hey," the Tora muttered to Jack. "Don't mess with him, just leave him alone." she told him. What if he woke up? She certainly wasn't going to be the one to deal with that, she simply refused.

Jack nodded. "Right, maybe we should mo-" He was interrupted by a groan from the fallen redhead and his head turned to see the man in question getting up.
"Oi.... ya bashtard..." He said, red hair covering a lump on his forehead from the fall. "Ya tryin' ta kick a man when hish guard's do'n, ah?" Two brown eyes glared at the pair. "No one meshesh wif Jamie Phoenixsh!" He half-yelled, half-slurred as the pianist just looked at him, blinking.
