Aiden growled louder. That one was a lie, he knew it! If his family was around they'd have visited him, or said something to him or done SOMETHING! And if they were around and didn't... well who needed them!?
The Ookami's hand whipped up and snatched Eva's hand, squeezing it tight. A small bit of the old Aiden's anger leaking through the barriers in his mind. Make her scream. Make her hurt. Break her for her lies.
Kill her.
He jerked forward and pulled the Tora's fist back further to drag her toward him, smashing his forehead into Eva's own. He could handle it, and it would hopefully wind up with jarring his leg free.

Eva's eyes widened when he took a hold of her fist. The next thing she knew she was stumbling backward with the biggest headache she could ever recall having. She would have fallen over if it weren't for her back hitting a nearby tree.
The blond couldn't stand up straight, everything was spinning. Damn it, that was going to be the last time she tried THAT on Aiden. And fuck, was that blood she felt dripping down her forehead? She wasn't even aware someone could BE this strong. "Okay Big Guy... Just calm down for a moment..." She muttered in a pathetic attempt to calm him down. Dying wasn't on her to do list that day.

Aiden's breathing was ragged and his eyes were clouded. He looked much akin to how he was on the rooftop before the fight began, not that he would know that. "TAKE IT BACK!" He yelled at her, throwing a punch toward her nose.
makeherpaymakeherpaymakeherpay Chanted a small voice at the back of his mind.
He rammed his knee toward her stomach. Matsuda and Locke and XXion wouldn't lie to him! They wouldn't! She was the liar!
killherkillherkillher It said.
No, he wouldn't kill Eva. He wouldn't KILL her, but he'd certainly make sure she was sorry.

Eva ducked down to avoid the hit to her nose, but was pretty much helpless when he kneed her in the stomach. The blond fell on her side, coughing up a bit of blood.
"OKAY!" she hollered out, coughing a bit more. "I never meant it in the first place!" not true, but whatever got him to calm down. "Just STOP!" She couldn't remember the last time she had actually feared for her life like this, she was positive if he wanted to Aiden could end her right there and then. Dammit she KNEW this was a bad idea from the start, she KNEW IT!

Aiden stopped his arms and legs as she cried out. She had taken it back. She had taken it back, so everything was better now. The waves of anger receded and the Ookami began to calm down. He sat near the fallen Tora. The brunette giant simply waited for her to get up.

Eva closed her eyes for a moment and relaxed where she was on the ground. When she opened them again, she just kept them fixed on the blue sky above them, the same blue as her eyes, she noticed absentmindedly.
Despite the pain she was still in, she grinned. "I knew this was a terrible idea." she muttered. "Ya don't even need training, what you need is anger management."
The blond turned her head to look at him. "'M sorry, really." she told him honestly. "It was nuthin' personal, that's just how I do things. People normally dish out all there strength when they're set on killin' the person they're up against." Either that or make terrible mistakes, but that wasn't in this case.

Aiden nodded and took a deep breath, though a part of him cringed at the anger management comment. "S'okay, I shoulda expected it..." He didn't mean to do this... did he? He wasn't sure... It was all kinda blurry...

The Tora let out a sigh. She wasn't going to hold it against him, she was the one to provoke him in the first place.
After a few more moment, Eva sat up, leaning against the tree behind her. She reached for her jacket, using it to wipe the blood from her forehead and the little bits of it she had coughed up. She seemed perfectly calm as she did this, it wasn't like she wasn't use to seeing blood after all.
"So," began the blond, dropping her jacket on her lap. "Seeing as though I'm still a little dizzy, how 'bout we just talk for the moment?" she asked him, grinning like she hadn't been hurt in the first place. She actually looked like she was about to start laughing. "How've you been?"

Aiden blinked at her nonchalance over the injuries. Actually, her humor over them was what surprised him. Was Eva some sort of masochist or something? He'd have to find out later. "Not much..." He said with a shrug. "I've been out of the hospital for just a lil while, so there ain't much ta say other than I get lost a lot."

Eva nodded, grin fading a little. "So have you been able to remember quite a few stuff or is a lot of it still... y'know." Aw crap, she could feel her stuttering beginning to take place again now that they were just talking. She thought about asking him if he remembered anything about her, but she decided against it. What was there to remember? Some chick he met at the bar and got drunk with, nothing important there.
Though she had been getting these weird vibes about him lately. Like she had known him sometime before... But that couldn't be possible, could it?

Aiden sighed. "Most of it's still locked away and I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna be able to get too much outta there. Call it a hunch." He scratched his cheek and looked up. "Though I've gotten a little bit here and there..." And something was currently trying to wiggle its way out of his mind...

"I see." muttered the blond quietly. This feeling was starting to get annoying right now, where was it coming from? He reminded her of SOMETHING, but why couldn't she remember it? SHE wasn't the one with amnesia here dammit!

Aiden blinked and muttered something as a small memory resurfaced... "A blue dress..." He mumbled, puzzled. A little blond girl in a blue dress... chasing him? He wasn't sure... but he knew he had been running...

Eva's eyes widened for a short second before blinking and looking over at Aiden. "What did you say?" she asked, confused. Somehow that had sparked a little something in her mind too. Something about her wearing a blue dress when she was younger, probably five? She absentmindedly put her hand over his.

Aiden blinked, and kept his mental hold on the image strong. "Blue dress." He said again. "I just got a memory, I think... A little blond girl in a blue dress... chasing me? I dunno..." He furrowed his brow, clenching his hand into a fist, then relaxing it again. "I think there's a playground too... I'm probably really little..." Mostly because of how big everything seemed in the memory. Nothing was that big to him these days.
