Eva was leaning against one of the trees not too far from where the forest began so Aiden wouldn't get lost trying to look for her. The blond kept fidgeting with her jacket nervously as she waited for the Ookami to show up, half hoping he would hurry it up, and half hoping he wouldn't show up at all.
Apparently Aiden was wanting to learn how to fight again, and some dumb-ass(aka, Boss' brother) had told him that she could teach him. When he asked her, she of course said yes, but that was just because she didn't know what else to say since the question was sort of unexpected. Besides, she couldn't have said no, she didn't want to see him look disappointed or anything like that. While normally she wouldn't care if she hurt someone's feelings, she had some unexplained feelings for the giant that kept her from wanting to let him down.
The ex gang member felt a slight warmness in her cheeks and quickly started pressing her cold hands over them to get rid of it. He couldn't see her like this, she had an image to keep up! Now, if he would just show up...

It had taken a little while for him to find his way to the forest, even with leaving early he had gone the wrong way. He had had to double back after getting directions (and the guy giving them had been stuttering and stammering. Aiden had assumed he was just cold and had given him his scarf in exchange for the directions. The stuttering man had taken it and left.) and he was a little out of breath from running there for a good portion of it. Hearing a bell chime and tell you it was fifteen minutes past the appointed meeting time was kind of good incentive.
So, finally and a half-hour late, Aiden made it to the edge of the forest and managed to spot Eva. He hurried over, breath fully recovered and limbs... well, they'd survive. He had managed to get out a little earlier than the doctor wanted, but he had rested at the HQ. He'd be fine. A little pain never killed anyone anyway. "Hey Eva!" He called out as he approached.

Eva shot her head up when she heard her name being called out. "There ya are!" she exclaimed, trying to sound as irritated as she could. She tried to keep the harsh attitude she'd normally have when she was training Hotaru, but she found it a little more challenging to do so this time. Challenging, but not impossible, she actually kept up a pretty good stone like expression this time. When she had first seen him in the hospital she couldn't keep up a stable sentence around him without stuttering or rambling, it was embarrassing. This time, she planned on keeping it cool, especially since she had time to prepare herself.

Aiden wasn't all that deterred by Eva's stoniness. It made sense, if she was teaching him to fight like she said she would. He had kinda expected it anyway. "Sorry I'm late, got lost..." He didn't seem too sheepish though, it was his second day out of the hospital, there was no way he knew the city well. "So, where exactly are we going?" They weren't training here if he had understood correctly. Someplace further into the woods where they were less likely to get interrupted, he was pretty sure that had been mentioned.

"Where do you think?" she asked, beginning to walk into the forest. "C'mon, I'll let'cha know when we're far enough." she told him, putting her hands in her jacket pockets to keep them from completely freezing over, that wouldn't really help when she was trying to train him, would it?
"So why'd ya ask me to help you fight in the first place?" she asked him as she was walking. "Don't 'cha got other friends that can fight just a good an' all?"

Aiden shrugged as the walked, letting Eva lead the way for their mutual benefit. It wasn't too cold, early-to-mid fall, he figured. How he came to that conclusion he wasn't sure, but it sat right in his mind. He had no gloves and had given away his scarf, but they were no big loss, he'd be moving around enough to keep himself warm for awhile. "It was Matsu's idea, I asked him first and he said you'd be better at it. I woulda asked Locke, but I haven't seen her around for awhile..." Wherever the albino was, he wished her well. He had gotten the impression that she had really helped save his life...

Eva nodded. "Gotcha." was her only response. After a little more walking Eva finally decided that this would be far enough. She stood still and turned to look at Aiden.
"Alright, Imma tell you what I tell everyone else." she warned him. "I'm not going easy on you, so do NOT go easy on me." with the strength he had shown at the school, she knew he was already plenty strong(especially since it was her that Aiden and Kage had played Catch with for a short moment during the fight). It would prove to be a pretty fun match if he could still use all that muscle. "We stop only when I say stop, I don't give a fuck if you're tired or not."

Aiden listened and nodded, growing serious. Something telling him to take off his jacket because it would be a liability and the same thing instructing him to wait for her move. He wasn't sure what it was, but it seemed like sound advice, so he shed his coat and tossed it aside. The Ookami then widened his footing a little and got ready.
Somehow he had a feeling he was gonna get mighty beat up from this, especially since that little voice had disappeared for the time being it seemed.

Eva went ahead and took off her own jacket and threw it off to the side. As she was turning back to face Aiden's direction, she instead swept down in one quick movement and went to knock his legs down. Sure, she used that move a little too much, but she had her reasons.
For one, it helped her see just how much balance her opponent had, and she could also see how quick their reactions were along with speed. She could see three things about a person with just one move, and seeing as though she already knew how strong he was, there was no reason for her NOT to test these other qualities out that she still didn't know about him.

Aiden wasn't quite sure what happened between Eva shaking off her jacket and his falling when it happened. He realized a split second later as his body moved almost on reflex to catch himself that she had knocked his feet out from under him. He realized just a little after that, when his hands hit the ground first and worked almost on their own to spring him back and away from the danger presented by the blond that his suspicion would probably be right.
Especially considering he fucked up on the landing. Tripping over something (probably his own feet) as he hit the ground was bad enough, the fact that he had little idea as to what had gotten him so far away from Eva was a bit more puzzling.
Still, being on the ground was dangerous, and he got up as quick as he could. He adjusted his stance a little to allow for more maneuverability as he realized this was going to be a long training session.

Eva grinned to herself as she stood back on her feet. So his reflexes were pretty fast but... "Your balance is shit." she told him. "Now, c'mon, don't be a sissy!" she called out, mentally checking that she was in a nice, stable stance that would keep her from getting knocked over too easily. "Hit me with your best shot!"

Aiden glanced at her position and stance and charged forward, ducking a bit and throwing a punch toward her stomach. She'd probably catch it, and if she did he'd make use of her occupied hands and try and get a good hit at her neck with his other arm. She had said not to go easy, so he figured he'd been given the all-clear.

Eva watched carefully and catch his fist before it made impact with her stomach., noticing the second fist going for her neck. While she saw something like this coming, she didn't have enough time to actually dodge both hits and ended up stumbling a couple steps back.
Then she started to wonder, what could get this guy to his limit? It had been her main method in re-training Hotaru, a combination of her physical and emotional limits, and that had ended with great results. It was one thing to tell someone to give it there all in a fight, but when they had rage to back up with all that, that was where it started getting fun.
"Wonder what it's like," began the blond, rubbing her neck slightly. "Not having any memory of who ya are or where ya came from. Only havin' what people are tellin' you to go by." she tilted her head at him. "Ever catch yourself thinking if you're being lied to? That these so-called 'friends' aren't really your friends?" she waited to hear his response. She'd have more to go with later on.

Aiden bristled slightly. "They wouldn't lie to me." He said, though he had indeed asked himself that question before. "They're my friends, they wouldn't lie to me like that!" He was a bit startled by himself. Why was he yelling? It had hurt, yeah, but...
But nothing, he realized a moment later and the anger found a slightly better foothold. Who was Eva to make him doubt his friends. They were his FRIENDS! He trusted them! She had no right! He growled slightly and charged forward, sending another punch her way followed up by a kick to her side.

Eva barely dodged the punch and grabbed his foot just as it hit her side. Yeah, it hurt like hell, but this was where she was trying to get to. The Tora kept a tight grip on his ankle before pulling him forward and aiming a blow in his jaw.
"C'mon Aiden, what if your family's actually right here in town and you had no clue? Right under your nose this whole time instead of being off in who-knows-where like you've been told." Of course, all this had been true, but she'd keep Aiden guessing. After the training was said and done for the day he'd just disregard it anyway most likely.
