Eva just nodded along to what Aiden was saying, not wanting to say the wrong thing. The nurse smiled kindly to them and handed Aiden his note. "Well, try not to get too hurt next time ya play, got it?" she asked them sweetly.
The blond girl nodded once again, but soon decided it'd be better manners to actually talk. "Yes, Ma'am." she said in response.

"We will." Aiden said and gave a tiny bow before exiting the nurse's office with Eva in tow. He sighed as he ran into the next problem of the day. "Eva... where's our class supposed to be?" They hadn't been around for long enough to find out, and then neither the principal nor the nurse told them where they were supposed to go... though he supposed the nurse thought they knew already.

Eva blinked, realizing that she didn't know either. "I... don't know..." she muttered, messing with her dress again. They weren't there when they were suppose to find out... "Who should we ask?" she asked, looking back at Aiden nervously.

The first answer was the principal, but Aiden didn't wanna go back and maybe owe him TWO favors. He was too scary, and he didn't wanna make the nurse suspect anything, so they couldn't ask her again either... "Maybe we can just go to the wrong class and say we got lost?" It was the truth, and since it was the first day he supposed that no teachers would mind.

"Yeah, that sounds good." Eva agreed, trying to find something for her hand to do other than stretch out her dress anymore than it already was. She ended up holding onto the straps of her little backpack as she got ready to follow Aiden. "Well, let's go!" she grinned.

Aiden nodded and started off down a hall to their right, trying to find a door that didn't have words he couldn't read on the front. He figured that maybe if they could find one that looked like a kindergarten classroom, they could say it was a mistake easier than wandering into a fourth or fifth grade room. So far, no luck.

Eva wondered down the hall along with Aiden, trying and failing to read what was on the walls in the hall, and on some of the doors. "Hey, ya think the class we have is prolly on the other side of the school?" she asked her friend. If they were obviously in the area where the older kids were, it made since to have the younger kids in the opposite side of the building.

Aiden paused for a moment, common sense siding with Eva. "Er... yeah... I guess so." He spun around and started walking in a different direction, wondering what Matsuda was doing as he went. He hoped the second grader was having a better day than he was...

Eva giggled a little as they turned around, at least she was right about something today! She hurried to walk beside Aiden so not to get too far behind. "So ya think we're in the same class?" she asked him, hoping that they were. It would have made things a lot easier, and despite all the fighting they'd gone through that day, she thought Aiden was kinda cute.

Aiden shrugged. "They're can't be that many kindergarten classes, right?" He said with a smile, lunchbox swinging just a little in his hand as they walked. He certainly wouldn't mind it if he wound up in Eva's class. At least then he'd know one person, right? And she was nice enough when she wasn't mad, and brave for a girl, so he supposed it wouldn't hurt.
He turned into a brightly colored hallway, deciding that it was either an art hallway or the kindergarten hallway. Considering how there were numbers and letters in happy, bold colors all over the walls, he judged it to be the kindergarten hall. It certainly looked friendly enough. "This's gotta be it." He stated for Eva's benefit. Despite being nice and brave-ish, he wasn't sure how good Eva was with detective work and he figured it was a good idea to make sure she didn't get confused.

Eva nodded. "Yeah." she agreed, looking around at all the colors on the walls. "So... which one do we go to first?" she asked him, turning her attention back to him.

Aiden shrugged. "So long as there's a teacher inside, I don't think it matters." He decided, going up to the first door on their right and jiggling the knob. Locked. He pouted and turned to the door on the left side of the hall to try that one. Locked as well. By now his pout was well on its way to being a scowl. "Stupid doors, they're broken." Because there's no way he'd screw up twice in a row.

Eva tilted her head a little as Aiden tried to open the doors. "Broken?" she asked, going to the next door to try opening it. This one was locked too. She looked back at her friend, frowning a little more than she was pouting. Hadn't they gone through enough for one day? What was so wrong in trying to find their classroom? She was about to say something before hearing footsteps near by. She turned and saw that same blond boy from before.
Matsuda, who had gone out of his class to use the restroom, noticed the two kindergartners wondering the halls and decided to follow them. "What're you guys doin?"

Aiden perked up only a little when Matsuda showed up. He was tired and frustrated and he just wanted to go home and sleep and maybe get some ice cream. "We're trying to find our classroom..." He said sadly. "But all the doors are locked..." He wanted to punch something (or someone, preferably the principal) but that would just get him into even more trouble than he already was in. "Do you know where we're supposed ta go, Matsu?" He asked, hopeful that the second grader would know a little more. After all, Matsu was older, so maybe just maybe he would know exactly what they needed.

Matsuda looked back and forth between Aiden and Eva as he tried to figure out what they would need to do. He'd need to hurry though, his teacher would be wondering what was taking him so long pretty soon. "Have you tried knocking on the doors?" he asked them.
Eva shook her head. "Uh-uh, just tried to open them and they wouldn't open." she pouted.
The second grader sighed. "That's 'cuz the teacher's gotta lock the doors, ya gotta knock on the door to get them to answer." He didn't blame them for not thinking of that, but he saw it as being pretty obvious(though he probably wouldn't have thought so when he was first starting school, so he didn't make a big deal about it).
