Madoka, still crying, welcomed the hug and wrapped her arms around Aiden in return. He couldn't see it, but the whole time the younger Ookami was still trying to talk, mouthing the words 'Big Brother' thinking that she could start talking again. There was no such luck, and she eventually gave up on talking around the time her tears stopped. She still kept hold of Aiden though, she was too scared of letting go. If there was one thing Madoka was truly afraid of, it was being alone. And as long as she was hugging Aiden, there wasn't anything to fear.

Aiden held Madoka close until the crying stopped and held on even past that. After all, the younger brunette didn't seem too keen on letting him go right now. It felt a little weird almost, the difference in their sizes made him feel like he was hugging a child. He supposed that in a way Madoka was, still, just a kid. He supposed that with the way he was now, he might be too. Aiden didn't mind this thought as much as he thought he might, though, so he held on to Madoka.

It took a while, but eventually Madoka's mind was able to convince her that Aiden wouldn't disappear if she were to let go. She slowly pulled her arms back to herself, unsure of what to do next. She wasn't too sure what to say, or write, or draw for that matter.

Aiden let Madoka pull away without resistance, not entirely sure about what he was supposed to do next. There was a momentary pause while he thought, then decided that it was actually a pretty nice day so they might as well take advantage of it. The giant was pretty sure they weren't about to make any more headway at the moment anyway. "Wanna walk around for a little while?" He asked her, he didn't feel like he needed to make any elaboration on why.

Madoka, who was rubbing her cheeks a little to try getting rid of the reddness from her crying, looked back at Aiden and smiled. She nodded her head and hoped up on her feet, taking the sketchbook back into her arms again.

Aiden stood with her and began walking. He wasn't heading in any particular direction. After all, he barely knew which way he had come from, let alone where anything else was. No, he was just heading wherever his feet, and Madoka if there was anywhere in particular she wanted to go, took him.

Madoka linked arms with Aiden and began to head to where a few trees were at. She quickly wrote down something and handed it to Aiden. "Can ya climb?" was on the paper, followed by her pointing up at the tree for a little emphasis. It looked sturdy enough, and she hadn't gotten the chance to climb in a while. What she would do with her sketchbook, she wasn't sure, but she'd figure that out in a moment or two.

The elder Ookami looked at the words and shrugged. "I guess we can find out." He said. Locke had been pushing him off of roofs lately, though that was with the special jacket that let him glide. It was doing a good job of curing any fear of heights he may have had though... He made a low bow and moved his arms to gesture to the tree. "Ladies first."

Madoka grinned, deciding on leaving her sketchbook on the ground, hoping no one would come along and take it or something. She made sure she had a good hold on the branch closest to her before jumping slightly and pulling herself up to where she could sit on the branch without falling. She held onto the next one with one hand as she waved for Aiden to come on up before continuing to climb up.

Aiden watched for a moment, making sure that Madoka was alright before reaching up and grabbing a branch. It didn't look too hard, and he was sure it would be easier than when he trained with Locke. The elder Ookami swung himself up onto a branch and began climbing after her. It was slow going, he was too big to slip between the branches, and he had to be careful that the ones he chose wouldn't decide to snap under him. His tongue poked out of the side of his mouth in concentration as he tried not to misstep and tumble to the ground.

Madoka grinned a little more as Aiden started his way up the tree. The small girl was a monkey herself when it came to trees, so climbing was no real issue for her. It was just the getting down part she was scared of. Okay, maybe that made her more of a cat than a monkey she supposed.
She continued climbing up a few more branches before stopping again to see how Aiden was doing. She was about half way up the tree at this point, and probably wouldn't try climbing up anymore. The branches tend to get thinner the higher you went went and she was pretty sure that eventually they would get to the point to where they couldn't hold even her up.

Aiden's progress, though hampered by the branches and his size, was rather steady albeit slow. It took him a little while to get up to where Madoka was on the tree, but when he did he grinned a little. "Whatdya know? Looks like I can climb after all." It was less awkward talking to the mute girl than he thought. While she couldn't talk and had trouble communicating certain things without the sketchbook, it wasn't like he couldn't tell what she was trying to say. It was sort of easy to figure out.

Madoka let out her version of a giggle before looking around at the view for a moment. Wow, she didn't realize they were so high up. Benches and other people looked almost about the size of bugs to the little Ookami, making her start to feel a little sick to her stomach. Climbing was fun, it was only when her fear of heights started to kick in that she didn't really enjoy it.
Blinking her eyes a few times and shaking her head to get the picture out from her mind, she hoped next to Aiden. She stood on the branch and held on to one a little higher so she could keep her balance. She wondered for a second if Aiden was getting annoyed that they couldn't have an actual conversation.

Aiden glanced at her, then to the ground below them, and back again. "Scared of heights?" He asked, Madoka could nod or shake her head, so he supposed it was an easy enough question to answer.

Madoka looked back at him and grinned, a little embarrassed. She held up her thumb and index finger to where they almost touched, signalling she was trying to say "A little". She shrugged slightly afterward though. She wasn't too terribly afraid of heights like a lot of people were, but she'd be lying if she said it didn't bother her at all.
