Mina popped the entire thing into her mouth and munched. She swallowed and glared. "That answer your question?" She asked, mood turning foul.

Locke looked at Mina, her expression genuinely cloudy for once. She pouted, and not in the way that suggested she was trying to be cute.
"Yes, unfortunately," replied the albino. "You could've just said no, Mina. I would understand."

Mina scowled. "You shot me in both shoulders, I'm allowed to be a tad spiteful, dontcha think?" She wiped her hands on her jeans as the counter was void of any napkins.

Locke made to level a glare at Mina, but then what the dark-haired Tora said sunk in. She was completely right, after all. Why would anyone share treats with someone that shot them and taunted them?
"Fine," huffed the albino. "I suppose it's no good, pressing on from here. You're gonna ask me to leave anyway, right?" The playful spark that was normally in Locke's pale blue eyes had faded for the time being.

Mina nodded and pointed to the exit, ignoring the twinge in her gut as she glanced at Locke's visible eye. Stupid not-making-sense guilt! If anyone should be feeling guilty if should be Locke, not her. "Door's right there." She said, voice level.

Locke turned swiftly and headed for the door. She wanted to say something witty, but felt too bad to come up with anything. As the albino opened the door and stepped outside, the most she could manage was a lofty wave of her hand.

DAY 3 Satoru leaned on the counter this time, debating both hushed and heatedly with his employee over the pros and cons of certain deals that had been going on. Not the deals themselves, but the prices being charged. "Mina, I know gangs MUCH better, get 'em angry and you wind up a corpse in an unmarked grave." He said as Mina huffed at him. "Besides, so long as we keep undercutting other businesses, who's gonna complain?" Mina growled. "I will. I know ya know what you're doing but HONESTLY 'Toru, we could be making so much more! And it's not like they trust anyone else anyway. Sure, they might get miffed, but if they went anywhere else the police'd be on 'em like that." She snapped her fingers for emphasis. "And some are crazy enough to take that chance, we're not even MEANT to be making the extra, Mina." He gave her a stern look, Mina looked about ready to retort and sighed. "Fine, whatever." She scowled, "Not like all our asses are on the line or anything." She waved her hand. "Now off, go do paperwork." The lame gunslinger smirked. "Like I'm gonna leave you alone, Egs tells me there's an albino that keeps coming in here ta bug ya, I wanna see for myself." Not that he couldn't trust the Swede, but he didn't feel like passing up the chance to tease his self-appointed younger sister a bit.

Locke opened the door to the shooting range with a bit less enthusiasm than the day before. She had also arrived a bit later than the past two days, but that was to be expected. After all, Mina had all but thrown her out with her spite. However, the albino had a little surprise for her clanmate today, and it swung in its paper bag that was clutched in Locke's free hand.
"Mina!" called the Tora as she approached the counter and set the bag down. She'd let it go, but then Mina might seize it and throw it away without asking what was inside. "I'm so glad you're here again today! I was afraid you'd be giving lessons or something."

Mina rolled her eyes. "For some reason my boss wouldn't let me." She sent a pointed glare at Satoru, who simply gave a two fingered salute as he leaned on a nearby door frame. "Methinks he's a little too curious." The gunslinger simply rolled his eyes at this and stayed silent.
She turned back to Locke when it became obvious Satoru wasn't interfering. "What's in the bag?" She was almost frightened to see what was inside it. Chocolates and roses? She wouldn't put it past her clan mate, but roses wouldn't fit in the bag. A scorpion perhaps? If she was mad about yesterday, that's what Mina'd do. But Locke seemed more the type for a direct confrontation than a poisonous sting and trickery.

"Lunch," answered Locke with a grin as she opened the bag. Out of it, she withdrew a medium-sized sealed Tupperware bowl. "I made some Yorkshire pudding today, and I thought maybe you'd like to try some." The albino pushed the bowl forward, as well as some silverware wrapped in a napkin. "Go ahead and help yourself. I already had my share back at home, so it's all yours."

Mina quirked a brow at the Tupperware that supposedly contained Yorkshire pudding... whatever the hell that stuff was... "Never heard of the stuff." Still, she hadn't been able to have lunch yet, and had skipped breakfast thanks to a faulty alarm clock and an assignment or two she had put off until the last minute. Surely it couldn't hurt to try a bite, right? Her stomach confirmed her thought and Mina unwrapped the utensils a bit begrudgingly, opening the bowl and taking a bite. "Why you're so insistent I'll never know, or want to know for that matter." Still, the food was pretty good, though the odds of her admitting that were slim to none.

"Someday, I might just tell you," Locke replied, her face showing great satisfaction from the fact that Mina had at least tried the food. "Whether you want to know or not, a kernel of knowledge is always at least a tad useful." The dark-haired Tora could throw the albino out as many times as she pleased from now on, but trying the Yorkshire was a huge victory, especially since she appeared to like it. Opting to keep a good train moving, Locke pressed the conversation on. "So, how's the business today? Lots of customers?"

Mina shrugged. "Enough to where I don't really get the option of not eating this lest I starve." Another bite of the Yorkshire disappeared. It almost tasted like fried eggs at first, now it just tasted good. She supposed it was British, but it was surprisingly good. Granted, Locke would never hear her say it. Ever.
"I doubt your very curious about that, though." She still wasn't very pleased with Locke despite the possible peace offering of Yorkshire pudding. "While you know how to shoot you don't seem to be the type to actually like guns, or the people who come here to learn to use 'em for that matter." Another bite was devoured and the container was halfway empty.

"Couldn't say that I like guns, no," said Locke with a shrug. "In my opinion, they're cowardly. Anyone who bothers fighting should be able to do it without blowing holes through each other. That's why this war's being done with cards, isn't it?" Without giving Mina the opportunity, the albino continued. "As for the people that come here, well... That's on a case-by-case basis, isn't it? Can't really judge someone based on one thing you know about them."

Mina shrugged. "It wouldn't be the first time someone's done that." Though Locke managed to rise another notch on her ladder of respect. Another thing the albino would never ever find out about. She took another bite. "And guns aren't cowardly. They're quick and typically very effective. And sometimes people don't know how to fight hand-to-hand and need protection." This had been her story up until the day Satoru had made Egil teach her how to fight.
