Locke stood dutifully beside Aiden's bed, wringing her pale hands almost constantly. They had long since been cleaned of the giant Ookami's blood, and thankfully, her companion had been taken care of almost immediately after entry into the medical facility. Wounds had been cleansed and IV's poked into him, and now all there was to do was support Aiden.
"You bloody moron..." whispered the albino. "Bringin' fists to a gunfight n' everythin'..." She didn't quite know what else to say. He had let his guard down; let his anger get the best of him. After a rage fit like that, Aiden probably wouldn't even remember why he had been angry in the first place. Locke felt the sickening feeling of shame twist its metal fingers around her stomach as she dared let a tear slip from her pale blue eye and down her nose.

Xion had been sitting on the windowsill ... she'd stopped crying a while back but her eyes were red and puffy. She couldn't even look at him ... he just looked distant and like he was fading away and it hurt he so much to think that he could ...
She wasn't even going to think about the worst thing that could happen. She couldn't lose him not after what she told him.She meant it to and then her eyes widened ... the girl she knew nothing about had heard her say it to
She listened to her speak before muttering "Yeah he is isn't he?" it was more of a question then a statement ... even her happy go lucky attitude refused to show up.She was just to shaken up

Eva was in the hallway beside Aiden's door. She was still deciding on whether she should check on him or not. He tried killing Hotaru, after all, and plus she had a feeling Xion would wanna pick another fight with her if she even dared to go inside. Decisions, decisions...
Just when she was about to leave and head back to where Hotaru was, she spotted a familiar face not too far off. It was a man in his late twenties with hazel eyes and dirty blond hair slightly pass his ears. He was about 6' 3" and had an average build. He was one of the doctors, Eva knew from how he was dressed, but he was also one of her brothers.
The doctor, who was busy looking at a clipboard a moment later, looked up and paused. "Evangeline?" he asked, as if he'd seen a ghost or something. Eva just shook her head.
"Hey Anthony." she muttered, not too thrilled. "What're you doin'?"
"I've got a patient." he responded, sounding a little awkward. "Mr. King."
Eva sighed and stood up straight. "He's in this room." With a nod, Anthony walked into the hospital room, seeing his patient, Aiden, laying on the bed, and two women sitting in the room with him. Eva followed in awkwardly, being quiet the entire time to not draw attention to herself.
"Good evening." began the doctor, a faint smile on his lips. "I'm Dr. Shimazaki, Aiden's Neurologist." he introduced himself in a calm tone. "Are the two of you family of his?" he then asked.

Xion didn't even move when the doctor came in "No I'm not ... and I won't leave if thats what your going to ask me" she said trying not to let her voice waver to much. She call up Noct if things got ... then she remembered she hadn't spoken to him in a month. Not since she left home, suddenly she felt very guilty
"How is he?" she asked ... what a stupid question. He fell of a roof he's hardly gonna be fine "Wait a Neurologist what's wrong with his head?"

Locke looked at the girl who had followed her and Aiden to the hospital and smiled; a genuinely warm, compassionate one for once. The albino reached out and placed a comforting and understanding hand on her temporary companion's shoulder.
"He was going nutters, hun," she explained. "It started the day I met him, I think. He saw some necklace that had apparently been his mum's, and went ballistic. Tried to kill his own sister before I swooped in and saved her sorry bum." The pale blue eyes that could usually be seen when filled with mirth at the expense of others were now dim and overflowing with worry. "The last time I saw him before tonight, Aiden wasn't nearly himself. This was coming for awhile, and I'm afraid being mangled and falling from a roof can't have done the bloke much good." Turning to Dr. Shimazaki, Locke offered another understanding smile, one that conveyed her knowledge of how stressful dealing with the troubled friends of patients could be. "I'm about as close to family as he's got now," the Tora stated flatly. Locke would make sure Aiden couldn't harm his siblings again, or vice versa, even if it was the last thing she did.

Dr. Anthony Shimazaki walked over to the foot of the bed, leaving Eva standing against the wall close to the door. She wanted to hear what her brother had to say about Aiden, she'd probably head back to Hotaru afterwards.
"Well," began the doctor, looking at his clipboard again. "I'm afraid there's good news and bad news. The good news is that he's not in any danger of dying, but," he continued to go on. "There's something wrong with his brain." Eva rolled her eyes sarcastically and made a rude sound. "Evangeline." he said, softly but still getting his point across. He began once again, still maintaining a professional calm to him. "His brain waves are different than what they should be, and from the information I received, he fell off a building? Trauma like that to the head can cause a multiple of problems, amnesia and such." He looked down at the patient. "But there's no telling for sure until he wakes up."

He was floating, weightless, like something out of a book or something. There had been wind and weightlessness and some pain but other than that he didn't know. What had come before those things? After, maybe? Where was he and why did he hurt everywhere? Who he was was perhaps a more pertinent question he supposed. Still, he'd rather have liked to find out both.
There were sounds, muffled and faint, but he couldn't really hear much. Something about waves? A beach maybe? Was that where he was? He hoped he could move soon, he didn't like the floating. He was pretty sure it was dangerous, the floating and the dark. He didn't really like either of them.
Outside Aiden's mind, there didn't seem to be much change in anything other than a small twitch in his right hand before it stilled again. It wasn't much, but it was something.

"Yeah he did" she answered aimlessly to the question about the roof. She didn't really care qt the minute. She would have normal snapped at Eva about the whole brain remark but ... she wasn't in the mood ...
She stopped still for a second "So he'll lose his memory or might lose it" she sighed. This is so shit she thought. The tears were slowly coming back ... he'd forget she knew he would. He'd forget everything. She saw the hand twitch "He moved!" she exclaimed "His hand just moved"

Locke kept her hand on the stranger's shoulder and smiled when Aiden's hand twitched. She thought about telling her companion that it was probably only a reflex, but there was no need to worry her. After all, weren't they both there for the same reason?
"Amnesia isn't always complete," the albino tried to assure the Ookami girl. "In fact, he might retain everything up until now... but in return be unable to form any new episodic memory. It's called interrograde amnesia, if I'm not mistaken."

Dr. Shimazaki nodded at the white haired woman's explanation. "That's right, miss. But again, we won't be able to tell for sure just how bad it is until Mr. King wakes up."
Eva stood up straight and walked a little closer to Aiden's bedside. "So the big guy's head isn't gonna be... all there, bro?" she asked, trying to keep from sounding worried.
The doctor of the siblings shook his head. "Most likely not, Evangeline."
Eva sighed heavily, both at the confirmation, and at the name he called her by. "It's Eva." she muttered, slightly irritated. But still, the fact that the big guy wouldn't be able to think properly or remember anything... that was just wrong. Then another though: why did she even care so much? Sure, she sorta liked him and all, but still. She frowned, she hated when things were so complicated.

He was hearing the voices clearer now, they sounded sad... Why were they sad? Had he done something? But he was floating (and despised it) so it couldn't be him. Maybe something before the floating? What HAD come before that? He tried to remember to no avail. Nothing, not a single memory.
His eyelids seemed to be lightening though, maybe he could open his eyes soon, wouldn't that be something? He'd like to figure out where he was, find out who had the voices. Maybe they'd tell him what happened, and he could remember! Spurred on by this bout of excitement, he managed to open his eyes a bit.
There was pain, he registered that well enough and hissed at the sensation, moving to try and get away from whatever it was. His eyes had shut again as soon as they were hit by the light. He hated this almost as much as the floating! Why did everything have to HURT!? There were things jabbing into his arms and his head ached fiercely and there was something wrapped around his hurting-parts but it didn't really do much. He kept his eyes closed, not wanting to be blinded again, instead fumbling around trying to get rid of whatever was on him, whatever the things in his arms were especially.

Locke registered the brief opening of Aiden's eyes and took that opportunity to seize the other girl by the arm and pull her aside. The albino had a plan, but it wouldn't work unless she got absolute compliance.
"Listen," hissed the Tora. "When he wakes up, you don't say a word about his family, do you understand? If you love him, you'll help me to make sure that Aiden isn't troubled by his past anymore. This can all work out for him." There was no way to be sure that the giant Ookami's brain damage would equal out to retrograde amnesia, but to assume so was the best option. Locke made her way over to the blonde lady and repeated her plan minus the love part.

Eva seemed to almost jump in excitement when she saw Aiden move a little more, though she managed to hide it pretty well. When the albino told her the plan about not mentioning his family to him, she let a low growl escape her lips. "So you're saying not to let him know where he came from or anything?" she asked, sounding very accusing. "To hell with that plan!"
While his sister decided to pick yet another fight, Dr. Shimazaki went over to Aiden's bedside. "Mr. King?" he asked in a calm and caring sounding voice.
Eva jerked her head back to where Aiden was laying, Anthony always was the quiet one out of her siblings. Deciding to be a little louder, but not annoyingly loud, she called out. "Aiden, wake up dammit! I know y'can hear us!" She was annoyed enough to hear this woman's plan about keeping Aiden's family a little secret from him, he had the right to know! It was just ridiculous to think of something like that!

Xion nodded "I agree ... if it patches up the rift between him and Tekka then I'm for it" before turning to Eva and in a cold voice stating "Shimazaki if you don't go along with it you know I will not hesitate to punch you.We need to see what he actually remembers first. You think that his family would be the first thing he remembered so if he doesn't then ... it's bad."
"Yes Eva because I'm sure the first thing he wants to hear when he wakes up is you yelling down his ear" Xion dead panned "So can it"
Eva's was being more irritating then normal. Then it dawned on Xion ... what if he forgot her?

Locke looked at the other girl and nodded before leveling a glare at Shimazaki. She stepped forward and brought up a fist.
"Listen, it's 'is family that caused 'im to go nutters, and if ya knew 'im, you'd know that," the Tora added. "If he doesn't remember them, especially Tekka, then all the better for his sanity." Shimazaki might have been able to take on their third group member, but there was no way she'd be able to dodge two people; certainly not if one was Locke. The albino turned to the Ookami and gave a softer expression. "Coincidentally, darling, I don't believe I've caught your name. Mine's Locke."
