Locke smiled at Aiden again, sipping at her tea.
"From the sound of it, you make a bit of a habit out of aiming for people's stomachs," she teased. "Don't suppose you've picked a fight with a fat person recently or something, have you?"

"Yeah actually I have." Aiden glared down at the table. "The bastard hit me in the eye with a coin and ran off..." He really should have seen that one coming, unfortunately he was too busy trying to pound him into the dust. It would have had such a wonderful effect on Tekka's head had Kyle gotten killed.

Locke was quite intrigued at this anecdote. She set her cup down and laced her fingers together in thought.
"Hit you with a coin, y'say?" asked the albino. "Seems a bit drastic. What in the worlds did he do to you to deserve your wrath?" It was most likely a hard question to answer, considering that Aiden seemed very easy to piss off.

Aiden shrugged. "Interfered with personal matters." He answered vaguely, not really wanting to give away everything when the food was so close. He could see the scones coming out of the kitchen now...

Locke wanted to know more, very badly wanted to know what this poor fellow had done to get on Aiden's worst side. Whatever personal affair he had interfered with, it must've been just bad enough to start a fight, but not bad enough to overshadow the arrival of scones. The albino prepared herself to positively scarf the treats down, knowing that the Ookami was going to tear through them at supersonic speed.

Aiden had swiped his scones off the plate before the plate was even off the tray, scarfing them down happily. Scones were one of the simple things that could get him to smile. All the scones he had snatched were gone by the time the remaining plates had hit the table, and Aiden then moved onto the grits.

Locke struggled to keep up with Aiden's head start, stuffing her own scones down her throat with haste. When she had finally finished, the albino grabbed a couple of napkins and looked at the grits with anticipation. She just hoped her tendency to get a runny nose from spicy foods didn't do too much to slow her down.

Aiden chomped through the grits with surprising speed, though the flavor was a bit different than he had expected. You know, he'd probably take back some scones for a later date, those things had been good...
Pushing aside the now-empty grit plate the Ookami looked around for the next breakfast item.

Locke dabbed at her nose with one of the napkins, amazed at how quickly Aiden had torn through those grits. The albino had liked them, but spicy + speed didn't really equal a happy stomach, in her opinion. She was quite happy to take a little break while her companion scanned the tray for their next event. If she wasn't careful, the Brit would be facing some serious problems later.

Aiden nabbed a small angel food cake. There were four on the tray, so that meant one for each, as well as a slice of pound cake apiece. Aiden was munching along well, though he as going slower against the sweetness than he had for the spiciness. He could handle spicy, sweet was good but this was freaking sweet. Someone must have screwed with the recipe somehow... Oh well, there was no way he'd complain about it in front of Locke.

Locke took her own piece of the angel food cake, digging in at a greater speed than Aiden had. On her first bite, she guessed why that was. The stuff was incredibly sweet, almost sickeningly so. Still, the albino had braved through worse flavours, and she managed to gulp the cake down before the Ookami finished his own slice. Next was the shortcake, and Locke felt a wave of relief wash over her as she bit into the milder-tasting baked product.

Aiden managed to choke down the rest of the soft and spongy cake and moved onto the shortcake as quickly as he could. The flavor almost seemed bitter compared to its counterpart on the platter and the Ookami savored every almost antidote-like bite of the cake. It was no surprise Locke would probably finish it off before he did.

Locke polished off the shortcake and grabbed one of the only two remaining plates on the tray, beginning to demolish the assorted fruits and relishing how the sweet and sour flavours complimented the plain-sweet aftertaste of the cake the albino had just finished. The next part was sure to be interesting, being that there weren't too many items left.

Aiden's slice of cake was gone all too soon and he also moved onto the fruit, tearing through the skins like a man possessed. The table was getting odd looks from the surrounding booths and a few young teenagers were standing and staring a couple yards away. Had Aiden been looking up he would have been able to see the two children he was hoping to scare lean out of their booth to watch the contest.
Wiping his mouth free from juices he reached for a poppy-seed bagel and some cream-cheese. Getting the right amount on the bagel he took a few bites, letting the rest of the food settle.

Locke looked up just in time to see the teenagers gawking at them, as well as the kids. The albino grinned at them and quickly picked her teeth free of skins and snatched a plain bagel, smearing a generous amount of peanut butter on it before destroying it with the help of her much-appreciated tea.
