The Ookami wasn't entirely sure what was heading his way, all he had seen was a glint of light off of something small and metallic. When it hit him though, Aiden let out a roar and clutched his eye. Pain lancing past the sensitive optical nerves to send a jolt of sharp pain through his head. Ra, what the hell had hit him!? The hulking man stumbled in his pursuit, quickly loosing track of the Tora's movements. Pain was a tricky sort of distraction after all.

Kage sported a grin of his own as he called his trusty metal friend back to his hand. It had taken a few years to perfect, but Jeremiah had said from the start that the growing giant was a natural with the fancy braille coin. Throughout his short time in Tora, Kage had used the coin to impress and amuse people. Caitlyn had been the first to witness its tricks, and had delighted in them. Then, there had been Steve Nightbringer, who had cared little for the coin and much for the Duel at the DarkBright Arena. Now, just as the White Brothers had predicted, their last gift to Kage had quite literally saved his life.
However, reminiscing was not the thing to do at this point. The giant Tora caught the coin and rushed past the currently bumbling Ookami, to the other side of the fleshy arena. If there was one thing that Kage had been unfortunate enough to learn about fighting, it was that sneak attacks only worked once. He'd pull the one last trick he had up his sleeve, and then it was time to run.

Aiden was knocked further off balance by the Tora managing to shove his way past and out of the circle-oval-rhombus shape of the human arena. It was by some sort of miracle (Whether it was a good one or bad one no one could be sure) that he didn't topple over. A few moments passed and a few growls had made their way into the air before the Ookami glanced up to see the retreating form of the Tora.
Now that he was thinking clearly, it would be better to ambush him than give pursuit. The large Ookami would thus be able to choose the time and place. The grin returned to his face, thoroughly creeping out the fallen citizens of Hatsu Itonami that Kyle had pushed aside. He turned around and began making his way in the opposite direction of the Tora.

Kage had no time to look behind him.. or at least, he didn't think he had time to look behind him. All he knew was that he didn't want to know whether or not that rival giant was on his tail. He picked the most obvious place to hide, considering that his pursuer would surely expect him to be craftier than to be obvious. That place, of course, was the outdoor food court.
"Sorry! S'cuse me! Giant on the run!" bellowed the pacifist as he plowed through crowds of passersby. Perhaps he'd even find a friendly face where he was headed, but at this point, Kage didn't care if it ended up being deserted.

Tekka's day had been going wonderfully, some idiots had been particularly dense and had been tossing around thier money for any sort of shiny bauble for their girlfriends. It had been simple enough to steal and then be shooed away like a pest with none the wiser to her fun. She was spending her funds on ice cream at the moment, and double chocolate chunk was giving her a fantastic amount of sugar.
It was about this time that someone jumped into the back of her chair to avoid someone else. The jolt of person-hitting-chair knocked the ice-cream out of the blond Tora's hands and send the fozen dessert tumbling to the floor. The resulting shriek could be head choling around the food court.
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!" She cried, leaping out of her chair and falling to the floor next to the fallen treat, hands trembling. "MY ICE-CREAM!!! WHY!!??" She sniffled a bit, not entirely sure herself if they were genuine tears or not.

It had been a normal day for Hotaru so far. She had just stopped by the mall to buy a few clothes she had her eye for some time now. After going to the store and buying the particular outfit she decided to walk around the mall for a bit longer since there wasn't really anything else to do.
The redhead eventually made her way to the food court when she recognized a certain voice not too far off. Curious, Hotaru looked around a little more and paused when she noticed the familiar face and source of the noise she had heard.
"Tekka? You alright?" she asked before looking around them to see what had made her younger clanmate drop her ice cream.

Kage skidded to a halt for two large reasons. The first was that he had accidentally caused an ice cream casualty, and wished to help his girlfriend mourn. The second was that he was about to run Phoenix over. Backing up a bit, he bent down next to Tekka and placed an arm over her shoulders.
"Terribly sorry, love..." said the giant, slipping a few bills under his beloved's hat. It would be quite enough to replace the ice cream. Besides, his current client, one Mr. King, had been generous (or tired) enough to pay in advance, so Kage had plenty of money. Looking up at Phoenix, he lifted his other enormous hand to wave. "Howdy, Lady Phoenix. It's been awhile since our epic battle, eh?"

Tekka sniffled and leaned heavily against Kage, hugging him and burying her face in his shirt. "He was so young, such a fine soldier." She wasn't actually crying, but she was close. She didn't even notice the money slipping under her fedora (a navy blue one with teeny-tiny white-gray stripes running from front to back) or Hotaru's presence. If she had, she would have stuffed it back into her beau's pocket (quick hands worked well for putting money BACK as well) and said hello whilst hugging respectively.

Hotaru couldn't help but laugh quietly to herself for a short moment at the sight of the two. "Hey guys." she said, waving slightly for a quick moment. She took another look at the two as a grin slowly made its way across her face.
"Aw," she said, though not too loud. "When was I gonna find out about you two, hm?" she asked, trying to hold back yet another tiny giggle. It really wasn't something that shocking to the redheaded Tora, thinking back to their little 'battle' at the amusement park.

Kage was ripped from staring down at Tekka by Phoenix's question. She had a point - it had been quite a whie since their collective fun at Ancient Gear. The giant looked up at his redheaded clanmate and grinned.
"Truth be told, I was waiting for a moment just like this..." replied Kage, returning his multicolored gaze to the objection of his affection. The grin turned to a smile of mixed adoration and concern. "Speaking of this moment, I was just attacked by a giant Ookami who wanted to kill me for kissing you. An agent against NAMGLA, perhaps?" A rather bad joke, but... that was Kage for ya.

Tekka jumped up, well... back and up so as not to hit Kage's chin. "Aiden?" She asked warily, classic 'startled deer look' full in her eyes. "Aiden's here, now?" She wasn't sure whether to immidiately pull out her cell phone to text Hana or getto a safe place with Kage and Hotaru first.

Hotaru's expression swiftly changed to a look of worry when Aiden was mentioned. "Where is he?" she asked, her voice cracking slightly as she looked around them for a few moments. When she couldn't see him anywhere she looked back at the two, still obviously worried.
"Seriously, does he hate the fact that his siblings are dating at all?" she asked, probably to herself, but Tekka or Kage were free to answer her question if they wanted. All she knew was that she didn't want to be anywhere near Aiden after what had happen at Freeds. Truthfully, she was scared of him, especially with the information he had on her.

Kage made a palms-up gesture with his free hand, tightening his grip on the arm that held Tekka ever so slightly.
"He's not here, no," answered the giant, his voice as tense as Phoenix's, although he hid it well with levity. "I was just... I dunno, doing what I do. Y'know, wandering, when he showed up." Aiden... wasn't that a character from some positively ancient tome about werewolves? "Calls me friend and tries to punch me in the face, so he did. It was actually pretty scary..." 'Pretty scary', of course, was a bigger understatement than Kage was a person, but Tekka needn't know that he was terrified...
Then again, it would've been easier to hide if the arm that was around her waist wasn't shaking...

Tekka looked over her boyfriend carefully, aside from a couple of small bruises here and there the giant Tora appeared to be alright. The blond felt a bit guilty however, Aiden was her older brother and SHE should be dealing with him. Not Kage. He was obviously freaked from the experience, and if Tekka noticed the shaking arm she didn't say a word about it.
"Well, he's gone now. We don't have much to worry about. Especially considering he's in Ookami." It wasn't a big consolation though, Jack was in Ookami, though he probably had sense enough to stay out of Aiden-frequented areas.

Hotaru looked back and forth between her two clan mates, not really sure what to do at the moment. She nodded at Tekka's words. "Yeah, I don't want a repeat of Freeds all over again." she said, still sounding a little worried. That had been a living nightmare for the redheaded Tora.
