"Pass the ball." Kaz shouted to his team mate, as soon as he got the ball, the opposition defender took him out. Even though the foul was given, Kaz stood up and punched the guy in the rib. He started to walk off as the referee sent him off.
He walked for afew minutes, carrying his bag. He reached to a bench where he put his clan band and his deck to the side. He took a seat and started to take off his football boats, a little annoying about being sent off but he couldn't always control his anger when things got competitive.
"Stupid really...I', a liability to any team."

Once again the girl found herself on the soccer Field, weird right. Walking around, she spotted what looked like a game. Oh how perfect, happily she walked over to watch, but as she got their a fight started. A young man punched another guy, how barbaric but entertaining. Smiling slightly as the man tired to walk off as the ref sent him away, Sara watched him as he sat on a near by bench.
Taking the chance to go talk to him she walked gracefully over. and sat down, smiling she couldn't think of what to say. She was bad at introductions really but at least she was giving it a shot right?
"uh- nice hit, I mean-er I'm really bad at this sort of thing. I'm Sarafina but call me Sara."
Oh great she sounded so dumb, rambling on. this guy probably thought she was some sort of idiot. Yet she still kept smiling.

As Kaz was taking off his boats, he noticed a young girl walking towards the bench and later seating herself. He looked up directly at her to have a better view, he recognized her from one of the ookami meetings. He was half expecting to get a lecture on why he shouldn't fight, but surprisingly it was the opposite.
"Well thank you...I guess." Kaz said calmly, he laughed lightly to himself, surprised that a girl would say that, Kaz placed his trainers back on, then he took off his football shirt and placed it inside his bag, taking out a clean white shirt and wearing it.
"I'm Kaz...you the confident type or something? Making conversation out of no where.". Kaz said lightly to Sara, he placed his deck in his bag then put his clan arm band around his arm.

Her smile never faded as she waited for him to speak, he looked slightly surprised like he was expecting something different. But still he spoke, right after he started to change his shirt. Feeling rather awkward how randomly she had been acting Sara couldn't help but to let her gaze drop.
After awhile she looked back up at the stranger, listening to him as he began to speak once more. Yeah sure she could be confident, but no not recently she had just been bored. And boredom can drive anyone to do weird things. Shrugging slightly she laughed quietly. Kaz what a interesting name, never heard that one before.
"kaz, unique name. As for your question, sort of? I guess, I was bored and you where here. So ya, I think I've seen you before but I can't remember where."
A small smile pulled at her lips as she spoke.

Kaz watched Sara carefully, every small thing about her. He wasn't sure if his careful observation was the reason why she lowered her gaze, he slightly twitched then looked away.
Kaz then looked back at Sara as she looked up, he was unsure what to make of her saying his name was unique. To him it always seemed random, having no real meaning to it, he had a faint smile as he watched her laugh for the first time.
"I'm not sure about Unique...Yh I seen you before, I'm pretty sure your an ookami member?" Kaz said lightly, pointing out to his arm band. He didn't often pay attention to who was at clan meetings but he did remmember a girl with dark black hair.

Sara could feel his gaze, staring at her. Shifting rather awkwardly her purple eyes fell to the floor once more. It wasn't until he spoke again that gave Sara the confidence to look back at the stranger. Of course he was part of the ookami duh, taking a peek at his arm band at he pointed to it. Then quickly looking down at her own small tribute to the ookami, resting on her wrist was a small bracelet.
"Yup I am."
There was nothing much for her to say, but Sara didn't want the conversation to die. Thinking about conversation topics she remembered him placing what looked like a deck in his bag. Perfect, if it was in fact a deck maybe they could duel. Who knows, so gathering a small bit of courage Sara tried to keep the conversation going.
"so you duel?"
This time she looked directly at him almost daring him to say yes, she was challenging him slightly. She has had enough of being awkward it was time for her to be herself. Not some scared little girl, no way. At this time a slight smile found her lips once more.

Kaz looked over to her bracelet, he was glad he got something right. He would have been embarrassed if he got her clan wrong but also he would feel tense with other clan members around him, not sure of their motives.
Kaz noticed that the conversation was almost dead, that was mostly his fault. He was awful at knowing what to talk about with girls. He was also alittle shy around them, so he had to put up this hard exterior. "sorry I can't make a good conversation up, I'm pretty dull." Kaz said lightly to the girl.
His eyes slightly widened as she mentioned about dueling. He did notice the tone in which she said it, almost inviting him to a duel. He wasn't up for a duel at the moment. "Yeah I do..." He said calmly, keeping his gaze on her.
Kaz turned his arm to the side, where he looked at a few deep cuts he had got a couple of days ago for fighting with some elder students. "I don't just duel...I also get into alot of fights, arn't you afraid of someone like me?" Kaz asked quietly, he wanted Sara to see the person he truly was, he was no ordinary nice kid.

Laughing lightly as he commented on himself, no Sara didn't think he was dull at all. Really what was there to talk about when a complete stranger walks up to you and says hi, so it was mostly her fault.
"oh that's not true, I think our conversation is going pretty well for two complete strangers."
As his next words came Sara felt slightly let down, she just couldn't catch a break no one in this freakin city dueled. Geeze she was never going to get better with her lack of practice.Holding his gaze she watched him carefully, waiting to see his next move. He was rather strange Sara hadn't met anyone like him. Looking carefully as he reveled a few scratches, Sara sighed when he spoke again.
Please her afraid, no it would take alot(like zombies) to scare her. Sara had always been good at fending for herself, in fact her mouth got her into a lot of trouble.
"now why would I you don't seem bad plus I can take care of myself just fine thank you."

Kaz smiled lightly as she laughed again, Sara seemed to be the pleasant type. "If you say so..." Kaz replied to her. She seemed a tad disappointed that he hadn't offered a duel to her. Kaz thought to himself "Someone who is keen on dueling? Dueling her in the future should be fun"
Kaz listened to what Sara had to say about being scared, it seemed she had abit of an attitude, but a good one. "I like to see an independent person, shows that your strong and not a push over." Kaz said lightly, he kept his faint smile as he looked up into her eyes, for a few seconds he was lost in her large purple eyes. He looked away for a second to break contact.
"What deck do you use?..." Kaz asked politely, he crossed both his arms as he waited for her reply.

Nodding slightly as he spoke, Sara had never been one to take orders or listen to anyone for that matter. She was a Free spirit, untameable. But the problem with this was Sara was proud she didn't take losing well, No, she had a temper.
"Yup that's me, the independent hard headed girl."
Her tone was light and joking, but then she turned rather serious when he asked about her deck. Her deck was given to her by her parents, she kept most of the original cards but made a few improvement here and there after all when you grow so does you power meaning your deck needs to be changed up a bit every now and then.
" Well I'm a fan of dragons so it can only be a dragon type deck!"
Pulling out her deck she shuffled through them to reveal her favorite card. Red-Eyes Darkness metal dragon with 2800 attack and 2400 defense sure it wasn't some uber rare or super powerful. But if played right it could really mess someone up.
"and this is my baby, say hi to my beautiful darkness metal dragon."
Picking up the cards between her index finger and her middle she flashed the card letting Kaz see it.
"and what about you?"

when Kaz first saw her she seemed like the innocent quiet type, but never judge a book by its cover they say. Kaz smiled lightly as she rounded up some of her personality in a sentence. Her personality was similar to him that he a temper at times, though mostly he was arrogant and that he was very independent as he like to be left alone at times.
Kaz listened to the deck type she used, dragons always was an interesting deck type, one day they could be hopeless but another they could go as far winning events. "Dragons...Thats interesting deck, not something I would use but still hard to beat, hard to collect aswell." Kaz said excitingly, he didn't often seem excited, only when he dueled or talked about cards.
Kaz watched as she pulled out her favorite card, a rare card but one that was favored amongst dragon decks. Kaz smiled lightly as she seemed enthusiastic about it. Kaz preferred the gadget deck, a consistent deck which was more about getting hand and field control. Kaz pulled out yellow, green and red gadget cards from his deck, showing Sara. "I like using the gadget deck, not the strongest in terms of attack but more of a deck for control."
Kaz laughed lightly, as both of them had their cards out, he thought it was alittle childish or comical but he rather enjoyed it.

Waiting for his reply Sara couldn't stop smiling, though she wasn't dueling she was still having fun. Anything to do with her cards made her happy, they were apart of her. With out her deck she would just be another bitter teen who hated her parents, now she was a bitter teen who hated her parents with a deck. Though the hole reason she was even in this city was their fault, sometimes Sara missed her small town back in Texas but part of her is happy that she moved. Now she could grow more, duel more, that was the best part. Clearing the rambling thought from her head she focused on her acquaintance words.
Nodding and smiling she felt like a fool, Sara wasn't an expert in duel monsters. She just got a deck for her birth day nothing more, but when she got the chance to add more cards she took it. Watching as he pulled out his deck she smiled, now what could it be? And his next words answered that very question. A gadget deck huh? Sara had never dueled one of those, interesting.
"wow that's cool, I've never dueled one of those."
Leaning in slightly, Kaz caught her attention. Control and power two things she loved.
"so whats your favorite card?"

Kaz kept his faint smile as she seemed to be more happy by the minute, he wasn't sure why she was so pleased but he had a small inclination that it was due to them talking about cards, she truly loved dueling by the looks of it.
"You always seem to be in a positive mood, always smiling...Its a good thing." Kaz said lightly, commenting on her personality.
Kaz moved his hand to a better angle so Sara could see the cards better, he watched her as she examined them carefully, full of interest. "So you haven't dueled gadgets before, well I'm sure we can fit a duel another time." He said lightly with a smile. Kaz slightly blushed as Sara leaned in, he could detect any small movements, he seemed on edge all the time but the ability to control it. Her next question did make Kaz think for awhile, he never thought about a favorite card, a child that was bullied all the time wouldn't. After a while he smiled lightly then said "Well...Errm...I think its Banisher of The Radiance." He liked it only due its removal effect, a key card in most gadget decks.
He pulled it out of his deck and handed it over to Sara, so she could look at it herself, it was odd for him to be so trustful with a new person.

I'd like to make myself believe That planet Earthturns slowly It's hard to say that I'd rather stay Awake when I'm asleep 'Cause everything is never as it seems
Chuckling lightly on his observation she couldn't help herself. He simply caught her on a good day, but don't worry she is a feisty one. When she is annoyed she will tell you, and holding back her opinions is something Sara is bad at.
"well Kaz you simply caught me on a good day, but I do love to smile."
Getting a better look at his cards Sara was impressed, his deck did look rather intimidating. Hearing his next words made Sara really happy, a duel! Though Sara was beginning to doubt herself, after all Kaz has probably tons of experience on him and she was simply the best dueler in her small town. Population of 1000, you could walk do the street and name everyone. Sad right?
"oh that would be fun! but I'm afraid I'm not the best."
Slightly saddened by herself admitting that, her gaze dropped. Her long locks slightly covered her face, but it wasn't long before Sara's happiness came back. She could tell he had to think, but how hard could it be? Sara knew her favorite cards off the bat. One Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, two Red eyes Darkness Dragon, and Three Armed Dragon lv7. It would have been lv10 but Sara hasn't come across that card yet, and that deeply annoys her. That card could take her deck to the next lvl, with 3000 attack and 2000 defense this monster was raw power.Sara could only imagine it with her Axe of Despair, she could only imagine.
Taking the card he handed her Sara inspected it carefully, how interesting that would be rather annoying in a duel. But it was useful, Sara didn't know how her dragons would stand up to his deck.
"I bet that comes in handy but It also could really mess you up to. Well I bet when we do duel it will be superepiclyamazing, I'm excited."[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Kaz observed her laughter, she was natural at it. He laughed lightly himself at her comment "I'm sure it will always be a good day..." Kaz watched her as she looked through his deck, he wasn't sure what she made of it, but she seemed pleased that he would offer her a duel in the future, Kaz was a good duelist, though he was arrogant at best of times, playing in a crowded environment made him learn quickly and improved his competitiveness.
Kaz noticed she seemed to doubt her own abilities, her gaze dropped. Kaz looked away for a second, then put his hand to her face to move her hair back. "I'm sure it will be fun, and I'm sure you will do fine...You will also improve over time, I don't mind helping you out." Kaz said calmly, he didn't often go out of his way to help someone but she filled him with joy that dueling was still something worth teaching to younger players.
He listened to what she had to say about his Banisher, it was almost his trump card even if the attack was only 1600. "Well most of the time I don't get hurt by it, but there are some situations that occur, should be an interesting match up."
Kaz then asked Sara in a calm manner, "Sara...How did you start dueling?" His eyes were fixed on hers, normally he would astray from looking directly but she was an interesting person to be with.
