Matsuda hid his emotions well. "I have two little sisters," he stated before pausing. "Er, well I had two. Just one now." he held up one finger as he spoke. His smile looked the same it had been, but really, the topic wasn't the best one in the world he'd like talking about, but if she asked, he'd end up answering the best he could.

"What happened?" She asked, now even more curious. The idea that it wasn't the best topic in the world to discuss in a friendly conversation didn't really occur to Chika. All she knew was that one of his siblings was gone, and she wanted to know why.

"Well," he began. "My sister ran off with this gang a few years ago, two years after that, she..." he took a small breath. "She was killed in a fire." He clenched his hand tight, his knuckles started to turn white. The even worse part was that it was his clan that had done it. If he knew exactly who had been in charge of that attack, he'd no doubt kill them.

Chika's eyes widened, and after a moment of deliberation leaned forward and hugged him. "You look like you could use one of these." She said, being perfectly honest. While the information had caught her off guard, it didn't particularly phase her. While she hoped to become friends with Matsaru, she was detached from the situation, and the most she could do was offer a little comfort.
Though, she wasn't entirely sure what she'd do if she lost some of her family. Probably cry for a few weeks. Yes, that sounded about right.

The hug didn't really shock Matsuda, it was a semi-expected reaction from someone if they heard something like that. He hugged her back for a moment before releasing it.
"Everyone expected it to happen sooner or later." he explained to her. He ran his hand through his hair for a short second. "Just not like that." he frowned, looking at the floor underneath him. Everyone had thought she would die at gun point or something, but a fire? She must have suffered so much...
He looked back to Chika, quickly regaining his warm smile. "So, tell me about your siblings." he said calmly.

"Well," She said, a little wary after that bomb drop. Though getting away from it was probably a good idea. "I've got two adopted older brothers and a little adopted sister." She grinned. "Though they got me, not the other way around. My oldest brother is working in the government but used to be in Ookami just a little while ago. It doesn't really make sense cause he's like, twenty, but..." She shrugged.
"My other brother is a little younger than him and is in Ookami right now. You might know him, his name's Jack. I think he's got a girlfriend, but he won't tell me." She pouted slightly before continuing. "And then my little sister's in my clan so I can see her whenever I want." She gave a victory sign with her fingers.
"That's my family." She smiled, trying to lighten the mood.

Matsuda nodded. "Cool, I might have seen your brother around, but I'm not too sure." he chuckled. "No surprise he wouldn't want to tell you about his girlfriend. Don't siblings normally try to hide their love lives from each other?" he wouldn't know or anything, but it was another pretty common thing to hide stuff from siblings, especially relationships.

The red head folded her arms and pouted. "Great, you're against me too." She gabbed his arm and tugged him out of his seat, "For that, the punishment is dancing!" She let out a laugh at successfully dragging him onto the dance floor.

"I'm just sa-" he was cut off by her tugging him to the dance floor. He smiled nervously as he looked at her. "Really?" he asked her, jokingly. "But I really can't..." the blond tried protesting, failing to do so.

Chika laughed. "Just move with the music! You can't look any stupider than him." She pointed to a boy that was trying and failing to breakdance, quickly drawing a crowd of laughing spectators. Chika let out a giggle and took her own advice moving to the beat and letting the music dictate her motions.
She spun around, laughing and having a grand old time. "It's not all that hard Matsuda!"

Matsuda hesitated for a while, not really knowing what to do. He looked around at the other people dancing, then back to Chika. Well, here goes nothing.
He started off slow and hesitant. After a while he started to loosen up slightly and move to the beat of the music, but he still wasn't too sure about how he looked. He felt a little embarrassed by all of this, he hoped he at least looked decent.

Chika stopped her dancing for a moment and looked at the older boy in approval. "That's it! You're doing great!" With those words of encouragement, she returned to her dancing, eventually ramming smack dab into a tall individual.
What she did not know about this tall man was that he worked in the government and had come here to blow off some steam. It had backfired when his girlfriend had dumped him on the grounds of cheating and he wasn't in a very good mood.
What she did know on the other hand, was that he was able to shove very hard. Chika ended up sprawled on her back, dancing feet barely missing her exposed fingers.

Matsuda stopped and ran to help Chika up. "Are you alright?" he asked her, slightly worried. He looked up and saw the one responsible for shoving her down. After helping her up, he walked over to him and tapped his shoulder, which the man didn't respond to. After a moment longer, he pushed the man a little, finally gaining his attention.
"What do you want?" he asked the Ookami in a rude tone..
"You pushed my friend." Matsuda stated firmly. "I think you owe her an apology."
The man glared at the blond, obviously not in the best mood. "She needs to watch where she's going. She should be apologizing to-"
He was cut off by Matsuda giving him a swift uppercut, sending him flying back. One thing you never did was mess with the over protective Ookami's friends.

Chika stood up and glowered at the man, he was in his twenties, old enough to know the basics of modern customs. One such rule being 'be nice to girls,' at least, last time she had checked. She nodded at Matsuda, "I'm fine." She smiled, shrugging off the displeasure at the official. Holding a grudge over something so small would have been a little silly, but this thought was a bit hard to make herself believe.
She slapped a hand over her mouth as the official was given a one-way trip on the Fist Express back to the wall, both in surprise and to hold back laughter. She'd have to remember to stay on Matsuda's good side. Though she wholeheartedly cheered her new found friend on in teaching the guy some manners the hard way.

The guy Matsuda had hit was now standing up, but glared at the Ookami as if he was about to kill him. He went up to Matsuda once again, landing a punch in his jaw. The Ookami's head flew to the side a little as he took a step back from being unbalanced. It hurt, yeah, but it wasn't much compared to what he had to deal with at home. He just laughed it off as he watched security walk up to the man and forced him to leave. Good thing they didn't see the uppercut the blond had given him.
Satisfied and calm, he looked back at Chika. "So do you still wanna dance?" he asked her, secretly wondering what she thought about everything that had just happened.
