Jack gave a laugh. "A little." The next question caused him to scratch his cheek in thought.
"Well, huh..." There was a pause. "I don't have a watch, but I'd hazard a guess at three hours lost in the graveyard, an hour chasing Tekka through the city, and about ten or twenty minutes with you." He began counting on his fingers. "So that's..." He snapped his fingers. "That's about four and a half hours."
He laughed at himself. "In case you couldn't tell, math and I don't get along so well."

Hotaru shrugged slightly. "I'm not so good in math, either." she paused for a moment. "You've been here for over four hours?!" she exclaimed. "No wonder you're hungry." she looked around, but didn't know why. She looked back at him, a little worried. "Do you want to get something, then?" she asked him.

Jack shrugged and laced his fingers behind his head. "Sure. Of course, the Mystik Wok is probably closed by now." He frowned, "Then again, it's been awhile since I've been able to go there."
He smiled. "But in any case, would you care to come with me, miss Phoenix? Dining alone isn't much fun, it's better with friends."

Hotaru smiled warmly and nodded. "That would be lovely." she said, holding back a small laugh. "Now that I think about it, I'm getting pretty hungry myself. But, do you think I could go back and say good bye to Greg real quick?" she asked. She didn't want Jack to have to wait on her, but she needed to see Greg before she left that day.

Jack nodded. "Of course, you shouldn't leave him hanging." She cocked his head to the side slightly. "Should I wait here for you?" He asked.

Hotaru put a finger over her lip, thinking. "You could come if you want. I'm sure he'd like to meet you, but if you'd prefer not to, i understand." she said polietly. She didn't want to admit it, but she also would have wanted someone there with her to keep her from another melt down.

Jack smiled softly. "Then I think I'll come. I'd like to meet him, though," He grinned jokingly. "You're going to have to be a guide again. I can't tell one path from another at this late at night."
With that, he gestured for her to take the lead. "After you." There was the smile and the twinkle in his eye.

Hotaru smiled. "Thank you." she said, walking back to Greg's grave. When they arrived, she sat down gently and stared at the tombstone warmly, a new found spark in her eyes. "Hey, Greg, sorry for leaving you so soon, but I met a new friend." she said merrily, looking over at Jack for a moment before turning back to her friend's grave. "It's funny. In a way, he's kind of like you." she spoke with an equal mixture of sorrow and joy clear in her tone.

Jack knelt next to Phoenix, not entirely sure if he should say anything or not after he was introduced. He had done things like this before, but that was at his mother's grave, not at an almost-total-strangers. He decided to stay quiet for the moment and let the girl speak.
Strangely enough, something about this place felt happier now. Maybe it was because the mourner was feeling better, but there was still something.
Maybe it was Greg, was he happy that his friend was cheered up?

Hotaru felt a tear try to wiggle its way out from her eye, as she quickly tried wipping it away. "Well, I guess I'll see you soon, then." she told Greg, smiling innocently. "I love you."
She silently stood to her feet, looking back at Jack as she did. "Alright, I'm good now. Let's go eat." she said, smiling.

Jack nodded and stood. "Lead the way." He said before taking one last look at the grave. She really does, I hope you know that Greg.
He thought that as hard as he could at the grave before following Phoenix out of the graveyard.
