Rex shook her head from left to right. "I agree. Trained llamas sounds like a compliment."
Still sitting fine in her seat, she turned to Caitlyn, staring into her eyes. "Maybe... the ending is actually supposed to be interpretted as biting social commentary. The girl was on a rampage because she wanted to be treated like a true human being, but it was only when she began acting like a true human, falling in love and allowing herself to be loved, that the film was allowed to end..."
She blinked, as she summed up her point in about a sentence. "Well, maybe the whole entire point of being human, is to love and be loved?" a sympathetic look in her eyes as she spoke.

Caitlyn leaned back stretching as the credits rolled. "Maybe it was meese. Mooses? Moose?" She shook her head. It was one of the few words she truly didn't know the plural of.
Caitlyn blushed a little as Rex stared into her eyes, but tried to ignore her urge to be a bit embarrassed. "You know, that could be it. But that would be ascribing deeper meaning to a movie where the main character turned into a truck in the end. I really don't know how safe it is to do that."
She shook her head. "Then again, maybe I'm cynical," she joked.

"Well, maybe the person you fall in love with doesn't always end up being the person you expect..." A peculiar tone of almost dissapointment in her voice, possibly just fatigue. "Or... maybe I am just reading things the wrong way then."
Rex adjusted herself in her seat, sitting up straight just before she began adjusting her tie.
"Come on, it's getting late. We should probably head back to the Tora HQ."

Caitlyn shrugged. "Ah, well, like I said, maybe I'm just cynical." She gave Rex a little smile as she stood up and stretched. "Maybe you're right, and there is a deeper meaning to it, and I just don't want to see it."
Her eyes flicked over, and she fought back a giggle as she watched Rex adjust his tie. That was very, very cute.
"Yeah, guess we should," she sighed. She wasn't usually one to go home early, but it wouldn't be horrible to.

Rex too got up and stretched her arms and legs, though did her best to avoid making her chest stick out. "Eh, despite the fact that it was still a poor film, it's wasn't as awful as I expected."
She scratched her cheek (her face cheek <_<) as she continued speaking her mind. "I wouldn't recommend it though, unless someone greatly lowered their expectations."
Rex ran a hand to straighten her suit jacket thing, as she always felt it right to look as immaculate as possible. She bent over to tie her shoes. She did however notice Caitlyn's sigh. "Well, if you're not quite ready to call it a night, we can always do something else. What do you have in mind?" She stood up straight, hands at her side now waiting to hear what she had to say.

Caitlyn nodded. "You know, you're right. I didn't hate it. It was actually bizarrely funny." She gave Rex a little smile, then laughed at what he said next. "However, I do have to agree with you on that," she agreed.
She watched with a bit of amusement as Rex straightened his suit and then tied his shoes. A little bit of surprise crossed her face when Rex suggested they stay out. "Oh, let's do something bad." She winked. "Have you ever been to the Allure of Darkness?" She asked. It was the best club in the city, in her opinion, and it belonged to Tora.

"Something... bad?" a notable tone of apprehension, to be expected from a girl like her. She made sure her shoes always matched her socks and her undergarments matched her tie, so to expect her to do 'something bad' seemed to be rather out of character for her.
However, what she suggested for 'something bad' was more acceptable. "Hmm, I don't usually go exploring other sectors unless I have a very good reason to, such as a Territory Duel or something of equal importance."
"However, I think I'd not be too opposed to heading out towards a club for a while, if it's with you." A more excited tone replacing her fatigue. She walked towards the doors of the theater, holding the door open for Caitlyn. "After you."

Caitlyn noticed Rex's apprehension, and the slightest hint of a smirk teased at her features. She had expected that. He seemed like such a "good boy," which was why she wanted to take him to the Allure.
"I'm definitely going to take that as an 'I have no clue where it is,'" Caitlyn said, laughing a little. "The Allure of Darkness is in Tora territory." She said.
Then, she quirked up her eyebrows. "As long as it's with me, huh?" She grinned slighlty. She stepped out of the door, holding out her hand for him to take. "Come on, Rex," she said. "I think this might be fun for both of us." She had very firmly decided that if Rex and she were going to be friends, she was going to teach him how to be bad.

She blushed sheepishly, nodding at Caitlyn's suggestion of Rex not knowing where the Allure of Darkness was. It wasn't particularly her fault. Between all the med school classes, countless hours of research, sleepless nights spent toiling away at her life's work of prosthetics, she had little time to socialize.
She smiled at Caitlyn's suggestion of fun. "Well, if you think that's best." Rex took her hand, thinking not much of this gestures, interlocking her fingers between Caitlyn's. "Let's go."
