Two beers were passed to Donato and he walked over to the booth where a blond woman sat. "For you, m'lady~" He said as he passed one over.
The blond smiled and nodded. "Why thank you sir." She laughed before taking a small sip. Naoko looked around. "So you talked Keith into this?"
Donato shrugged. "Well I had some help, but yeah basically." 'Toru would be coming too if he remembered right. "Oh, heads up, his boyfriend's a bit of a grouch sometimes. Try to bring guns up if ya can, you'll get on his good side." He laughed and took a drink of his beer.
Naoko nodded. "Guns, okay, that'll be easy enough." Now the question was when would they GET here?
Keith looked up at the entrance of the bar, looking back at Satoru. "Do I really have to do this?" He asked, frowning. He hadn't seen Naoko since he broke up with her YEARS ago, and now she was in town? He supposed it could have been worse, but STILL, he didn't talk to him exes(except for Donato, but that was a completely different situation he liked to think).

Dragging Keith this far had been a feat in and of itself and Satoru felt like he deserved a goddamn medal for even doing this much. He personally didn't care too much about meeting the ex, but Don had made a surprisingly good case for getting Keith to talk to her again, and if Satoru hadn't gone Keith probably wouldn't have either. So, they had saddled Egil with watching Gabriel for the night and tromped down to the bar.
And now he was too deep into it to even think about backing out. "Yes, yes you do." He said bluntly, glaring up at the younger Tora. "What's the big deal? From what I heard you got along fine before you broke up, if anyone should be nervous about it it's me. She makes a move on you and I'll be convicted of murder by Monday." He moved to shove the inked man forward. "Now MOVE, we're late enough as-is."

Keith sighed. "Okay, okay!" He said, reluctantly going to open the door and step in. He looked around, now where were they…
"Keith! Toru!" The Italian called when he saw them, waving them over to the booth where him and Naoko were. The blond sat up a bit more and gave a smile as she saw the two. Keith didn't look like he'd changed all that much since they'd last seen each other. She was assuming that the man with him was the boyfriend, and Naoko couldn't help but notice the height difference right off the bat. He didn't look too friendly either, she sincerely hoped they'd get along, it wasn't like she still had feelings for Keith.
The inked man turned to where he saw Don and Naoko. She seemed happy, but then again she always was. "Hey Don." He said before turing to the woman. "N-Naoko." He said nervously, giving her a small smile.
The Kuma was clearly more at ease with the situation and smiled back. "Hey there, long time no see." She moved her head a bit to see the other man. "And you must be the boyfriend." She said, keeping her smile up, she didn't wanna give him reason to hate her(well, mores than he might already). "Naoko Tsukino, pleasure."

Satoru blinked a bit in surprise and extended a hand to the blond. "Satoru Yamamoto, likewise." It was... kind of weird, he had this feeling like he had seen her somewhere before... Though, to be fair, that could have been his leftover paranoia talking. He'd had that sense with several customers before he realized there had never once been a connection. He resolved to let it go. "Don, didn't ya get beer for all of us or are we not special?" He said to the Ookami.

Naoko shook his hand and froze for a second. Satoru? Could he be… no, there was no way, maybe that was just a common name or something. What were the odds of running into him after all this time? She took her hand back and sat back down quietly. She wouldn't be able to let this go, she knew, but she couldn't just bring it up out of nowhere, especially with Don and Keith there, that'd be weird…
Keith glanced between Naoko and Satoru for a second, catching the surprised looks on their faces for just a moment. Well wasn't that odd?
The Italian, on the other hand seemed to be the oblivious one and just laugh at Satoru's question. "Sorry, she's a lady so she gets treated like one." He explained with a grin. "Y'all can get your own drinks."

"Fine fine. Keith, fetch drinks." He had no doubt the other Tora would, too. He seemed pretty nervous upon talking to Naoko too, he'd loosen up in a bit but for now... well, a quick reprieve as a reward for getting his ass into the damn building worked. Satoru needed to figure out why the hell Naoko seemed so familiar too... She had just moved here, so it wasn't as simple as passing her in a street...
And hadn't he resolved to put the whole matter out of his head? Dammit. He took a seat in the booth on the opposite side from Naoko.

Keith nodded quickly. "Yeah, I'll uh, go get us some…" He trailed off as he turned around and went off. Damn this was so weird.
The blond fiddled with her thumbs from under the table as Satoru sat down. Oh this was going to drive her crazy, but she shouldn't get her hopes up. Her Satoru was most likely still in New Tokyo… or dead. She hoped it wasn't that one, but from what she could recall of the city it certainly was a possibility.
Donato blinked and looked over at Naoko, noticing how off she looked. "Somethin' wrong?" He asked, concerned.
Naoko blinked and looked up. "Oh no, sorry." She said with a quietly laugh before turning to the Tora. Well, it wasn't like she could ignore him, might as well use Don's advice. "So… I hear you're a gunslinger?" She asked.

"You heard right, someone's been informed," he glanced to Don. The ookami had been talking about him before he and Keith had arrived it seemed... Or perhaps in other conversations. He wasn't sure if he should be flattered or slightly threatened, but considering he doubted the woman was a threat he went with the former instead of the latter (though he'd never show it). "You got any experience with firearms?" Was a bit of an odd question for her to ask if she didn't know SOMETHING about them at least...

Naoko nodded her head. "Grew up in a military family, so it was practically required." She laughed. She was never really fond of guns, making her the oddball of the family, but it had saved her a time or two when guys had tried getting a little too friendly with her(not that she ever shot them, really just showing she was armed had been enough to get them to back off, which she was very grateful for).
Don sat back and drank his beer, letting the two talk for a while. It'd be good for them to get to know each other, best for them to be on good terms if she was going to be sticking around after all.

"Really? Sounds a bit like my upbringing..." Satoru said, wishing he had a beer to sip. The quip was true, of course, guns had been one of the most prominent aspects of his own childhood. He could relate. But what she had said... was ringing a bell, though he couldn't quite place what it was... "Stationed where?"

Naoko ran a hand through her hair. "Goodness, we moved so much let me think." Well, this was the perfect time to bring it up, but she'd casually throw it in, you know, just in case it wasn't him and she would't look like an idiot. "We were in Onagawa for a bit, and there was Anamizu, then we were near New Tokyo for a short amount of time…" She trailed off there and took another sip, fingers crossed from underneath the table. Please please PLEASE let him say something…

Satoru's eyes widened as the pieces clicked into place, a memory he was certain he had buried suddenly surging to the front of his mind. The little girl he had danced with after she had helped splint his wrist. "...You had a stuffed rabbit," was all he could manage to say.
God he hoped Keith came back with the beer soon, he needed a drink.

Naoko sat her bottle down on the table, eyes filled with relief and awe as she smiled. "It is you…" She breathed, at a loss for what else to say. Oh god it was HIM! She'd given up ever finding him, but here he was, talking to her and--
Dating her ex. Well there went her luck.
Donato sat up straight and looked at them. Soo… they knew each other already? What was he missing?
Before he could ask Keith had come back to the booth, sitting beside Satoru as he passed over a beer. The inked Tora looked around at the table. Don was confused as fuck, Satoru looked like he'd seen a ghost, Naoko looked like she was about to start crying. "Okay, what'd I miss?" He asked as he looked around.

Satoru seemed to snap out of his daze as Keith arrived, he took his beer gratefully. "I have no idea how to explain," he admitted after a second before taking a drink. Aaaah yeah, that was good. Much better. "But, ah..." He glanced back to Naoko, "Turns out we know each other."

Keith and Don blinked and looked at each other before turning to the table's other two occupants. "Alright, I'll bite…" The Tora said. "How?"
Naoko blushed a little when Satoru looked back at her, pretty sure her heart skipped a beat before she realized she'd better try explaining. "Oh, well uh…" She started, running a hand through her hair to try and calm her nerves. "When I was a little girl, my family had been stationed close to New Tokyo, and he'd broken into the base for medical supplies. I accidentally stumbled across him and I tried to help him out some. Isn't that right?" She asked as she looked back at him. My goodness, if there wasn't a table between them right then she would hug him. She just… she couldn't believe it was really him.
