Shit fuck goddamn motherfucker.
Satoru was cursing under his breath, only having one usable hand was the worst thing of all the things. That it was his right hand only made it worse, his left wasn't nearly as good at the precision thing. Nevertheless, he had managed to slip into a military base not far from the city. It was better, he figured, than going to a Butcher for medical care.
Especially since no medic was going to patch up someone from another gang, and since it was his OWN that had decided it would be fun to drop the shrimp off of the roof he couldn't just own up to that in front of their medic. So stealing supplies it was. The base, he had found, was laughably easy to sneak into at this time of day. He had probably caught it during a guard change, and he was thankful enough for that...
He swore a little louder as more plastic pill bottle clattered to the floor. It was just that everything was so damn hard to DO with his left hand. He was sixteen he should be BETTER at this!
A nearby cabinet felt the brunt of his rage as he kicked it, unsure of what else to DO... It wasn't like he could shoot open the drawer the supplies were in, his guns were with Ryota (as they usually were when he was supposed to be in the hideout)...

There was a ten year old girl with a blond braid walking around by herself. Naoko wasn't suppose to be wandering around the base alone, but Mom and Dad were working and her big brother had told her to get lost and she was BORED. She wouldn't get into trouble though, she was always careful. So for now she was just skipping around with her stuffed rabbit until she found something to do. She paused, however, when she heard a sound close by. It sounded like it was coming from the Infirmary.
The little girl came up to the door curiously and stopped at what she saw, gasping before quickly covering her mouth. There was a boy(a man? He was older than her) that she didn't recognize and he was going through the supplies. He wasn't from here, so should she scream? Run and find someone to take care of it? But he was hurt…

Satoru whirled around as he heard a noise from behind him. Shit. As if this day could get any WORSE there had to be someone to SEE HIM. GREAT job there Toru, you really are a MASTER of the art of sneaking. The blond girl couldn't have been more than what, ten? Maybe younger, judging from how attached she was to that rabbit. He couldn't exactly hurt her. Firstly a part of him recoiled at the thought of hurting a kid, secondly she could probably run away from him too fast for him to catch her thanks to his injuries, thirdly if she screamed he'd be fucked six ways to Sunday, and lastly if he killed her the military would ACTUALLY move into the city. He wouldn't be the cause of the gang's eradication if he could help it...
There was a pregnant pause.
He took half a step backwards to keep room between them, only for his foot to land on one of the fallen pill bottles and skid out from under him, sending the young gunslinger sprawling and holding back a scream of pain as he landed on his bad wrist.

Naoko jumped as he fell, clinging onto her rabbit a little tighter. Maybe… maybe she should go get help, but then he would get in trouble, and so would she since she wasn't suppose to be out by herself like this. She looked around outside of the Infirmary for a second, no one was around. She turned back to the stranger. He was hurt, maybe if she helped him he would leave before anyone came back.
She took a step forward. "You won't- you won't hurt me, will you…?" She managed to choke out. "I'll try to help you if you don't hurt me…"

Satoru managed a wheezy laugh. "I don't hurt kids," he coughed out as he held onto his arm. He could feel his cuts still oozing blood, honestly he wasn't sure what this little girl could do. But hey, she wasn't ratting him out. "Can you get these drawers open?" He asked. "They're locked, s'there a key around?" He didn't know where ANYTHING was, the organization system was so different from Ryota's...

Naoko nodded slowly and moved passed him to get to the drawers. She sat her bunny on the counter and looked around, they normally kept a key hidden somewhere around… "Here." She said quietly as she came across it. She went to the drawers and unlocked them, rummaging through until she realized that she didn't know what exactly she was looking for. Little cuts she knew, but his was bigger and still bleeding. "Can you tell me what I need to get out?" She asked. If he talked her through it then she could help him, she just needed to know what to do.

"Bandages," Satoru said, keeping his distance from the little girl. He... didn't really have much conversational experience with kids. Or... well, any not ushering-them-out-of-a-firefight experience at all, really. "A roll of them, and a splint, some medical tape too." He knew how to splint bones that were sprained or fractured, but considering he was down one hand he'd need her help to do it. Oh joy...

Naoko quickly pulled out what he said to get and she walked over to him. Oh gosh he really HAD been hurt, she didn't know if she'd be able to do this or not. She had to try though. "Okay, what do I do now?" She asked as she looked between his face and the injury, not too sure which she should be looking at.

Satoru took a breath and extended his arm. "I'm gonna hold the splint in place," he said, settling the stiff piece of equipment in place. "Wrap it," he ordered, keeping his voice as level as he could. "As tight as you can." He'd need help adjusting it later probably, but better for it to be too tight than too loose.

Naoko did as she was told, grabbing the bandages and wrapping it around his arm as tight as she could. Okay, this was easy enough, she could do this. The little blond was still scared someone would come in at any moment, but that was why she needed to work fast. She finished and kept her hand on his arm where the end of the bandage was so it wouldn't unravel. Her cheeks started to feel warm and she kept her eyes down on his arm instead of looking at his face. "T-tape now, right?" She asked as her other hand started to reach for the medical tape.

"Yeah," he said with a nod, moving to hold the bandages in place while she got the tape. Her voice was wavering, shit, was she scared or something? Yeah he looked kinda creepy, he'd admit that, but it was kinda the default in New Tokyo, there weren't exactly many good barbers in the area, and sometimes he was pretty sure he looked like a heroin addict minus the syringe marks... "You're doin' fine," Satoru said, trying in some vague way to keep her calm.
Nothing was worse than shaking hands on a medic, even when the medic was a little kid.

Naoko took the medical tape and nodded a little. "Thank you..." She mumbled before taping the bandage into place. Fine, yeah, he said she was doing fine. There wasn't any reason to freak out, this was easy stuff. "Okay, that's done now." She said as she took a small step back, she didn't wanna get too close if it wasn't needed, he may not like that and she didn't want him to get mad or anything.

Satoru looked over the splint and nodded to himself. It looked and felt serviceable. Now for the rest of it... He shifted to shed his jacket, revealing some discolored patches of his dark shirt. All of them sticky with blood. Now, he just needed to patch these up as best he could. "Gimme those bandages," he said as he started working off his shirt.

The little girl took the bandages and handed them over quickly before stepping back again. Oh gosh there was a lot of blood, but strangely it didn't freak her out, she had over hear horror stories of much worse injuries when her parents talked with their friends, and even seen a few herself. "There's um, a closet with extra clothes here…" she trailed off, noticing how bad his shirt was. "I could get you a clean shirt if you'd want…"

Satoru looked up, as if honestly surprised by the offer. Which, really, he was. "Uh..." he said intelligently, "Sure. Thanks." It'd be better than dealing with clothes covered in dried blood, at least. His attention soon refocused on to binding what wounds he could. He had knocked down a bottle of disinfectant too, thankfully, so that was easy enough to locate...
