Minori threw down his most reccently emptied glass. "A'ther." he hiccuped. He wasn't sure exactly WHAT he'd been drinking, but he'd never been a big drinker before and what ever it was had been hitting him pretty hard.
He just... couldn't get over what had happened to Matsu. What had been worse was that he had actually seen it happen. How could Matsuda died like that? He was strong and fearless and just overall a hero to him!
It just wasn't possible...

Keisko shuffled into Freed's Matcheless Keg for the fourth time that week alone. She'd finally started up working again, only because she needed the money. She hated it now... everything reminded her of Matsuda and everything hurt.
She plopped down at her usual spot at the bar and raised her hand. The bartender nodded and went to work on her drink. She sat back in her seat then looked around the bar slowly. Two seats down she spotted a familiar mop of red hair. Her eyes widened as she recognized Minori looking almost as bad as she felt. "Mini?" she asked quietly and hesitantly.

Mini blinked and turned his head slightly, only to be greeted by a pair of grey eyes and blond hair like 'Suda's. His eyes grew wide at the sight and almost instantly threw up everything in his stomach. He caught himself before slipping out of the stool luckily, but now the stupid bartender probably wouldn't let him have anything else. He hazily attempted to wipe his mouth as he dropped his head back on the bar, practically ignoring the lady that looked like Suda.

Keisko's face fell even more as she realized he didn't recognize her. He looked like he was about to throw up actually The bartender placed her drink in front of her a moment later, saving her from trying say anything else. She took a drink and thought for a second. "Umm... Mini... it's me, Keisko." she started again hesitantly. He had to recognize her...

It was a long moment before Minori recognized the person beside him. "K'isko...?" he muttered, another hiccup escaping his lips and making his entire body jump. He left his head on the bar, too tired to pick it up or even hold his body straight, so he stayed where he was and attempted to talk to her. "Why'r y' h're..?"

Drowning sorrows away had become her newest hobby, it was easier. Keisko lifted her glass and nodded at it. "Same reason as you I suppose." she replied, though she thought he'd been here for a while already. If she had to bet, she'd bet that he was here for the exact same reason.

Mini would have nodded, but since he couldn't in his position he just 'Hmm'd a bit. "'s not f'ar..." he told her. It wasn't, and he hated it! Just the thought of seeing him like THAT... all cut open and bloody...
The redheaded Ookami shot his head up and threw up on the side opposite of where Keisko was. That mental image was the last thing he needed right now...
Around that time another redhead had walked in, not for the same reason as her cousin however. After one of her check ups at the hospital she had ran into Dr. Stevens, who had told her about Keisko and how off she had been lately. Unfortunately the Tora had been through this sort of pain before and had a pretty good guess at where the nurse would be at that day.
She wasn't expecting to see her cousin there however. "Mini!" she called running over to him to check on him. Keisko was there also, as she had expected.

Keisko was in the middle of taking a drink when Hotaru walked in the door and rushed to Mini's side. The throw up didn't bother her at all, she'd seen enough of it at work. She finished off her drink and waved for another. "Hotaru." she greeted, nodding to the other redhead. She wasn't sure what to say, it looked like Hotaru was doing fine. The redhead didn't look like she was still in pain at all...

Hotaru ran over and rubbed her cousin's back for a few moments. "Dammit Mini, really?" she asked, worried. She helped him sit up a little, he seemed so dazed, he looked at her and blinked for a good long moment.
"Ey, Cuzz, sh'dnt you be gettin' m'rried ri' now?" he slurred, mind suddenly off the pain that he had been feeling just a moment earlier.
Hotaru sighed. She didn't like dealing with drunks, but this was family... "The wedding's not for a while Minori, you know this." He was suppose to be part of it intact, aside from Aiden being the Best Man Minori was suppose to be the only Groom's Man. The other redhead bursted into a fit of giggles and dropped his head back on the bar, seemingly passed out. Hotaru sighed and slapped her palm to her forehead. This is why she didn't like dealing with this...
Still keeping an eye on her cousin, Hotaru turned to Keisko, expression full of worry for the blond. "How you holding up, Keis...?" she asked hesitantly.

Keisko threw back her drink and set it down, waving for another. "How's it look?" she muttered sullenly. She was slightly confused by the mention of the wedding. Jack had proposed? Keisko had been so out of it lately that she didn't hear about anything... or she had and she'd forgotten because she'd been doing this.

Hotaru sighed. The bartender walked over to Hotaru and asked if she needed anything. "No thanks, I don't drink." she said before turning back to Keisko. "How often to you come here?" she asked her. "There's better ways to handle this, trust me..." She was hurting too, it was her brother after all, but she had learned that doing something like this to yourself just wasn't the way to go.

Keisko sipped at her drink and shrugged. "A few times a week." she muttered. Hotaru couldn't know what she was going through and dealing with. She had to see people die every day and it made Matsuda's death return to mind every single time. She lost him before she could tell him she loved him. It hurt. Ever. Single. Day.

Hotaru frowned more. "Why don't you try coming over to see me and Jack more then?" she tried. "Well, it might just be me sometimes since Jack works, but maybe we can go hang out with Tekka or Eva or something?" They could go see little Anya, that adorable kid seemed to cheer everyone up at least a little bit these days. "Just please, I don't like seeing people like this..." It was bad enough Minori was passed out beside her.

Keisko gripped her glass tightly and grit her teeth. She didn't want more people interaction, she got enough of that at work. She didn't want to talk to anyone or pretend things were better than they were. "How are you so calm? Your brother is dead and you don't look the least bit upset about it!" she snapped, surprised that she'd actually said it.

Hotaru jumped at Keisko's accusation, and felt her blood starting to boil. The redhead took a deep breath before responding. "Well there's a few reasons..." she paused to think.
"One, I am upset. When Aiden told me I screamed and cried and would have attacked him if Jack hadn't held me back. The reason I'm the way I am right now..." she tried to think of a way to explain it. "Well, if I think about anything relating to that day too terribly much, I'll probably literally lose my mind." she felt her arms shaking a little just from thinking about it like that. She hid it with a polite smile however, trying not to make this conversation seem all about herself.
"And two, when you've already seen one person you love more than the world itself die in your arms, death just seems to be easier to deal with. It doesn't hurt any less, you just... learn how to deal with it better is all." she shrugged a little, smile turning into a small frown. That part might require explaining, Keisko probably didn't know about Greg.
