"You are mistaken, my friend." Mikka was smiling as if the entire discussion was one large joke to her. "There can't be a victory if both parties are still standing. In that case the fight is still ongoing. Besides, I can not lose." At least be her definition of "losing" which was more or less death. And seeing as the Russian was still alive, she hadn't lost a match yet. Of course that logic didn't always work in her favor, considering her distaste for killing people, but to Mikka that was just the way the world worked.

Usagi chuckled. "Whatever you say, Mikka. Apparently you can't lose a round with grace, just one of your many flaws I suppose." A round meant the battle wasn't over, didn't she realize that? He wasn't all too serious about killing her, she hadn't met his standards for upsetting Theo to do that to her. She had freaked him out a little, but... She hadn't tried to hurt him or anything.

Mikka only hummed in response. It seemed as though their fight had turned into a battle of wills, and the Russian refused to be bested. She was just as stubborn as her Tora companion; so the two were likely to remain at an impasse.
"You can think what you like, but I am still perfectly functional." The Ookami titled her head to the side. "I would say that means you didn't do a very thorough job."

Usagi shrugged. "You're not enough of a threat for me to HAVE to do a thorough job." He countered. And she really wasn't. He didn't worry too much for his own life as much as he did for Theo's, and Mikka was CERTAINLY not about to attack Theo.

Mikka wasn't sure whether to be complimented by the Tora's words or insulted. On one hand it meant Usagi wasn't out to kill her, but at the same time it meant he didn't find the Russian threatening. And when it came to people like the Tora, Mikka liked maintaining an imposing presence.
"I suppose you think me grateful then?" the Ookami shot back. She was really just arguing for the sake of arguing at this point.

Karter grinned. "Of course." He smirked. "You'd be dead otherwise. I'll take that 'Thank You' at any time." Teasing Mikka was really too much fun. And it kept someone's attention riveted on him and only him. As a matter of fact, if any passerby had attempted to interfere just then they'd have wound up with a neck full of knife blade.

"Hn. Perhaps." Mikka crossed her arms witha look of skepticism. Although Usagi was strong, the Russian was not entirely convinced that he was capable of killing her. She had a hard time imagining someone like him being the death of her. But the idea was still fun to toy with. "I am not completely convinced." The Ookami went to poke her companion's cheek, but settled for a finger wag instead. "So what ever happened to needing to leave, hm? Or is it that you just love my company?"

Usagi smacked her hand away. "Well if I go while you're still TALKING that means you'll get the last word in." And he just COULDN'T stand for that. Although he really did need to get going... He scowled at her. "Now if you're done blathering I'll be taking my leave." And with that Usagi set off back into the trees surrounding the woods. God Mikka was annoying.
