Mikka Volkov seemed to be spending quite a bit of time in the first lately. Although her home was more open, snowy plains rather than trees, this was the closest she could get. It would seem unlikely for someone as unstable as the Ookami to get homesick, but she was. Just a bit, but the underlying feeling was there. And so here Mikka was, sitting and resting against a particularly worn looking tree trunk. She was alert, as always, but was trying to take advantage of the quiet moment in order to relax.

Usagi grinned from his spot in the trees. It had taken him a few days to get used to his new body, and he was still a little dizzy now and again from the head-trauma of the surgery (he had pretty much been lobotomized), but he was ready for a rematch with Mikka to test his new body's skills. It was similar in build to Theo's, and while not quite what he was used to it was at least strong and healthy.
He'd work on the level of ambidexterity and whatnot after this test gave him a good idea... he just hoped he wouldn't get killed. Still, the look on Mikka's face was bound to be priceless.
Without making a sound Usagi (he hated the name, but it was best he didn't go around as 'Karter') launched a few knives at Mikka from his spot in the trees. "Looking pretty bored there, She-Hulk!" He called out. The new voice was ALSO something he'd have to get used to...

Sensing the disturbance, Mikka rolled out of the way of the projectiles. Several of the knives lodged themselves into the ground around her, but remained ignored. The Russian looked up, surprised flickering briefly through her hostile gaze. She hopped to her feet, pulling out her crowbar from where it had been prepared. The Ookami, thankfully, was never unprepared.
Who was it that was assaulting her? The nickname was sickeningly familiar, but the voice was completely unfamiliar. Ignoring that question, Mikka focused more on locating her enemy. He was above her, she knew, so it was best to level their vantage points out. The Russian scrambled up the nearest tree, scannig the area and poised to attack.

Usagi leered at the moon-haired woman from his spot in the shadows. His hair was unfortunately too pale to do anything BUT stand out, but he could work through that one. Chuckled, the sound was low and rumbled through his chest. "What is it, She-Hulk? Can't place the voice?"
He leaped back in the trees. The body was reasonably athletic so this wasn't too much of an issue. "I'm over here~!!" He sang eerily, before leaping to another tree to avoid actually being spotted.

"It is rude to randomly attack a napping person, you know," the Ookami chided and she carefully and quickly followed the mysterious assailant into through the trees. She didn't like him being out of sight; that was a weakness on her part. And Mikka didn't like weaknesses.
"Hiding in the shadows like a cowardly rat, I see," the girl sang from her perch I the branches. "Why don't you come out and fight me like a man, you bastard?"

Usagi chuckled. "I suppose I SHOULD grant you that much... Besides, you're boring when you lumber around on tree branches." No matter in what body it appeared that Usagi would remain faster while Mikka would remain stronger... A flipping of common gender differences, but he couldn't care less right now. He twisted and sprang off of a branch to land in the middle of the clearing, he rose and looked up as he spun a knife in his right hand. Thank god he had improved THAT skill at least... "Here I am, She-Hulk." He nearly sang.

More confusion flashed across the Russian's face when she saw her opponent. She felt as though she should have recognized him, but she didn't in the slightest; and Mikka was pretty sure she would remember someone with hair hat was actually whiter than her own (seeing as such an occurance was beyond rare).
Wasting no time, the Ookami leap down from the branches, bringing her crowbar down as she fell. She didn't really expect to hit her target while focusing on the the landing, but it was worth a try.

Usagi dodged neatly and smirked again. "So no guesses so far? None? You were close with the rat comment but you generally called me something..." He waved his left hand around a bit. "Something a little more FLUFFY." He finally decided as he hopped two steps back to stay out of striking distance.

"I do not appreciate you mocking me," the Russian growled. She was in a terribly foul mood at the moment and had no paitence for games. However, it did seem like the man knew here. Sadly, she still could not rememeber him. Though the attitude was familiar... Maybe he was just some sort of stalker? Mikka's eyes narrowed and she swung at her opponent again and again, her attacks filled with an animalistic desire to fight.

"Oh but you make it so EASY!" Usagi crowed as he nimbly dodged again, he rushed forward under the swing of the crowbar and slashed at Mikka's stomach before leaping away again. It was so much fun to tease her! Hilarious! It was even better now that she didn't know who he was, it was throwing her for a bit of a loop he could tell.

A growl escaped the Russian's throat at the Tora's remark, silenced as his knife sliced her stomach. She darted backwards quickly enough so that it was little more than a graze. The girl took a second to look over the damage before darting forward again. She swung out one foot, aiming to catch her opponent's legs and bring him down.

Usagi leaped over the leg and sprang off of Mikka's slightly bowed head and off to safety. He spun in the air and let fly a few more knives at the silver-haired woman. God he had missed this. "Come on, I just had a talk with you about my awkward love life -or lack-thereof- a few weeks ago!"

Mikka held her free arm over her face to shield is from the knives. A few sliced at her blouse, but thankfully most ended up scattered around her. The Russian fromed over her forearm, glaring inquisitively at her assailant. Clearly he knew her, judging by all thr. On sense he had been spewing. Nickname, awkward love life... Mikka quickly probed her brain for an answer. One name stuck out... But it didn't make any sense. It couldn't be him, could it? Then again there had been many impossibilities surrounding that man, and Mikka was hardly a skeptic.
"Krollik...?" Her gaze was uncharacteristicly surprised, eyes wide and round. And, for once, her guard was down. Probably not the best choice.

Usagi chuckled and bowed, a risky move in any situation where Mikka wasn't shocked speechless. "There you go. And here I thought you were just a pretty face." There were two more knives thrown as he rose, you couldn't say he wasn't an enthusiastic fighter.

Mikka narrowly dodged the weapons. Thankfully her lightning-fast instincts allowed her to spin out of their path, leaving only the ends of her white hair to get hit. The Russia whirled back around to face Karter, slightly more weary this time. She couldn't afford to be careless.
"I am pretty sure I would know if my little rabbit looked like that," she chided. "How is it that you can change your face like that? Did you suddenly have plastic surgery or something?"
