Tekka yelped as her hand was smacked and withdrew it immediately. It was no surprise that Caitlyn's reflexes were that good, but she was more surprised at the revelation that chopsticks HURT, she decided to express this new knowledge.
"I hope you know you have just put me off chopsticks for the rest of my life." She slunk back in her chair so only her eyes and hair were above the table. The blue orbs were fixed on the sushi.

Caitlyn simply popped a piece of sushi into her mouth, smiling deviously. "Perhaps that's for the better. You'd put someone's eye out with one of these. Probably your own." She said. Then, she picked up one of the California rolls and placed it in front of Tekka. "There. Since you just look that pathetic."

Tekka let out a very happy squeal of joy and snatched up the fish, beginning to nibble on it happily. They were getting one or two stares from those standing by, but Tekka was only concerned with the yummy fish morsel she had managed to acquire. Manipulation was a wonderful thing.

Caitlyn laughed. "Sometimes,. I'm convinced you're four, not fourteen," she said, as she finished the last piece of sushi and then moved on to the rice. It was a bit more of a trick to use chopsticks with that, but fortunately the rice was very stuck together so it was easier.

Liking her fingers Tekka rose back to her full height. "Personally I think my ages got swapped around, the older I get the less mature I become." She cracked a grin. "Just watch, I'll be that seventy year old lady playing laser tag with the young 'uns."
She shook her fist and did her best 'old person' voice. "Take that you whippersnappers! There's plenty more where that came from!"
A couple of people were now watching the table with amused looks. Not to be rude of course (they didn't want to suffer the older Tora's wrath), but merely because it was more interesting than the various news on meat imports and stock prices. All of which were emblazoned on the headlines of the newspapers.

Caitlyn laughed out loud, shaking her head. "Tekka, have I ever told you that you're nuts?" She asked, shaking her head. "Because if I haven't...Tekka, you're nuts," she informed her.
She shook her head. It was way too easy to envision Tekka running around at seventy, chasing little kids with a laser tag gun. "You know that I'll probably be there with you," she said. "I love laser tag."

Tekka shrugged, "So long as I'm either pistachio or macadamia I don't mind." Listening to her friend say that she liked laser tag piqued the blonds interest.
"Really? Cool! I hear that a laser tag place opened up somewhere around here recently." She leaned back in her chair, careful not to fall again.

Caitlyn shook her head. "Macadamia, clearly." She said, her voice firm. Yes, she was a bit crazy herself. She blamed too much time spent around Tekka for that.
"Oh, that's neat, we'll have to get a group together and go sometime," she said, smiling.

Tekka tipped the chair back a little more and snatched a few fries from the table behind her. "Well of course, macadamia is the king of the nuts. It'd be ill fitting for me to be anything less." She gave another tilt with the chair and it began to fall backwards.
Tekka flailed around as it made its decent. The chair thwacked against the tile and Tekka groaned. "The ferrets are stealing my muffins..." She mumbled deliriously.

Caitlyn was about to reach out and attempt to catch her friend when the chair finished its descent to the floor. Horrified, she jumped up and ran around to the other side of the table.
"Tekka! Are you alright?" Hearing her mutter about ferrets and muffins was not reassuring.

Tekka's vision was a little blurry and voices seemed to have a bit of an echo, but she wobbled to her feet. Swaying where she stood she felt the back of her head. When she examined her fingers she found there to be blood. "Oh goody, lemon melonade..." With that she toppled forward.
