Hi came as usual to the bar, but this time not for a a drink. Or not at the moment. Hi made her way to the bar, where she wanted to see a certain someone. She moved through the crowd of swaying bodies to the less packed bar area. She sat in front of her cute British friend, "Hey there." She said sweetly, "How about a water this time?" She smiled.
Hi had dressed appropriately for tonight, going to Allure, you need to dress your best. Hi's hair was down and was curled at the ends. Her hair seemed very black tonight, and it was stunning against her pale skin.
Her blue eyes were surrounded by pretty brown eyeshadow that made them pop. Hi was wearing blue jeans and a white button down with frills, comfortable but fashionable. Since she was so short, Hi wore her four inch red pumps, making her feel confident.

"Not planning on getting tipsy this time?" Fred asked with a friendly grin, pushing the required beverage towards the Kuma girl. He moved to rub out his cigarette quickly afterwards, knowing Hi would be displeased with him still smoking. Grant it, he'd toned it down at her request, but he wasn't about to quit cold-turkey. It was addictive, damn it!
She had become quite a regular at the Allure. While she'd normally shown up as Seishiro's "date," Hi had suddenly started coming of her own accord. The visits had been uneventful in comparison to the first where she'd passed out, but not unpleasant. It was a welcome break to have someone sane (which most of the people at the Allure were clearly NOT) to talk to, even for a few minutes.

"Of course not." Hi replied, eying the cigarette and grabbing it out of Fred's hand. Hi looked at it and wrinkled her nose at the smell. Then she put it to her lips and breathed in. It tasted horrible and her nose burned, and she began to cough uncontrollably.
Hi put out the cigarette in an ash tray, still coughing and then chugged about half of her water glass. Eyes watering, Hi asked, "Now how the hell does anyone get addicted to that?! It tastes horrible!" She coughed some more and then said firmly, "That was just for scientific research, by the way." Then she smiled and took some more of her water, carefully this time.

"They hang out with all the wrong people," the Tora responded, chuckling at Hi's dramatic reaction. "Then again, you're friends with Seishiro, so I don't think that would effect you." Maybe it was a little rude to poke at his clanmate behind the boy's back but, hey, he kind of deserved it.

Hi smiled, "I don't hang out with him that much." She laughed, "Trust me, it doesn't get old." She took a sip of her water and then smiled, "So... how have you been? What's new?" Hi had visited not last week, but still, it was nice to talk to someone who was neither a patient nor a drunken best friend... not that either of those options were bad.
She didn't see Seishy very often, but when she did, she was either getting drunk or treating him. The first part was fun, the other part just made her worry. Now that that had occurred to her, she needed to have a nice long chat with Seishy about the incident nine months ago. She still hadn't gotten to him yet.

Fred had laughed quietly at the Kuma's remark about their mutual friend, the amusement still bright and visible in his eyes when he paused to think of an answer to her question.
"Not really," the bartender replied after a two second pause. "Things have been the same as usual." He looked at Hi for a moment, lips twitching back up into the smallest of smiles. "I'm cutting back on the cancer sticks a bit, if that counts." She'd be happy to hear that, the Brit reasoned.

Hi grinned, "That's good! Cold turkey isn't always the way to go." She laughed, "Although I rather you would. Being a doctor and all." She laughed again, but it was true. She would rather he just quit straight out, but she knew it had to be hard. Hi never pushed, but if she strongly believed in something... then she did. Hi cared for her British friend, they had been friends for nine months... not that she was counting or anything.
But the health of her friends and of others were her top priority. Even if she were kidnapped or something, Hi would help any who were sick or injured. It was just her way of things, she wasn't one to hold a grudge. Hi smiled at her friend and asked, "How's your family?"
She had had the pleasure of meeting them... on the first night she really talked to Fred, dead drunk and he took her to his house. Really she needed to not drink... although, if it landed her with hot guys... maybe that wasn't too bad.

"Good. Mum finally landed a job." At last, all of Victoria's searching had paid off. Although she almost immediately wanted to provide Fred with his own place afterwards, he'd declined. Perhaps it was strange for a man of his age to be living with his family (and without a girlfriend, as his grandmother often reminded him), but the Brit didn't dwell on it. He wanted to provide for them for as long as he could, and heaven knew that his mother wasn't nearly ready to be cut off from him financially, despite what she kept telling him.
"Enough about me. How're things with you?"

[OOC: *saunters on in here, hopes no one minds*]
Usually, Jamie had noted, his and Fred's hours matched up, save a couple days of the week. Usually, Jamie was the only one that really talked to Fred other than Seishy (even if Jamie still hit on him, and usually just bugged him about his sex-life, or lack thereof). Sometime in the past few months though, it appeared that while the first note had remained unedited, Jamie now was forced to change the second note. For here, and he really couldn't believe it, was a WOMAN (a HOT one too, and he had a good gauge for how pretty girls were) who was TALKING to FRED of all people!
What had he MISSED?
Deciding to investigate, ie: abandon his duties for the moment since everyone seemed to be dancing during the current song, Jamie slid over to his coworker's side. "Heya, Freddie-boy~" He sang. "Who's your lady-friend, hm~?" Despite being in the city for so long, his accent was still VERY prominent, and easily identifiable as Irish. "Have ya shagged 'er yet?" His grin was still present and the jab was light-hearted as usual, but there was an undertone of curiosity.

"I'm afraid sex isn't the first thing on my mind when I talk to people, unlike some." The jab wasn't very well-hidden. And was that... a hint of flushing in the British man's face? Was he actually... reacting to one of Jamie's jabs? Of course his wild mop of curls hid his face well, so unless someone was looking for it they really wouldn't have noticed.
The Brit sighed and motioned to the Kuma girl with one hand and his redheaded co-worker with the other. "Jamie... Hi. Hi... Jamie." He turned to the girl in question, adding, "Please forgive him, he's sort of an idiot."

Hi smiled at Fred, "No, it's fine." Hi stretched out a hand over the counter, toward the red haired man, "I'm Hidemi no Hana, you can call me Hi. It's nice to meet you Jamie." Hi gave him a cute smile. Hi didn't mention his accent, although it was there, she could clearly tell what he was saying. It was nice to hear different accents.
Also it was nice to just meet different races of people. Hi liked Fred's voice, he could insult you and it would still sound nice and proper. Jamie's voice was nice too, soothing in a way. Hi hadn't really met anyone who was hard core about where they came from.
Although Hi wasn't completely Japanese, her grandmother was supposedly American. But both her parents were black hair and brown eyes, the blue eyes skips a generation apparently. Some people found it weird when she introduced herself, her having blue eyes and such a Japanese name. But what could you do?

Jamie grinned and took Hi's hand, kissing her knuckles. "Jamie Phoenix, m'dear, the more FUN bartender here at the Allure." An elbow was sent at Fred's side at this one. Honestly, the Brit needed to loosen up and get that stick out of his ass before it merged with his spine. "Now 'fore I start hitting on ya, just want ta kno', exactly HOW long have ye been comin' ta see Freddy without me noticin' ya?" He had to admit he was curious...

Hi smiled, "We've been um.." She glanced at Fred for half a second and then went back to Jamie, "... Friends for about, uh..." She paused, thinking, "Nine months, but I've only coming here since... well... the day Seishy came here with me." She smiled, "The day I first met Fred." Hi blushed slightly at how that sounded. Then she quickly added, "That's really the story."
Hi was not put off by Jamie's gentlemanly yet slightly offensive behavior. She was friends with the infamous Seishy after all. Hi then asked, "So Jamie, how long have you and Fred... known each other?" Hi saw that Fred isn't exactly comfortable with Jamie. But she guessed they were friends, kind of in the way her and Seishy were friends... It just seemed weird. Complete opposites, and they say they attract.

"Sometimes it seems like too long," the Brit sighed, although he was actually smiling. While Jamie could be annoying sometimes, Fred had to admit the Irishman did provide a certain level of entertainment and liveliness. "Since I started working here, whenever that was." At least five years, or so the Tora assumed.

Hi smiled, "Wow, a long time." Hi took a sip of her water. She watched the two of them. They were kind of 'bad friends' where it was like a love/hate relationship. Hi found herself sometimes trying to figure out the relationship of people. Knowing some about psychiatry, it was a habit she couldn't seem to break. She was a jack of all trades when it came to medicine.
