Mikka didn't know why, but she was in a mood. The world in general just seemed to be pissing her off today. Every bit of obnoxiousness the human race had to offer irked her to no end. Hence why she had sought out a relatively lifeless place to blow off steam until she was sane again. She couldn't risk going mental on people quiet yet; that would get the police invovled and then they might link her back to her home town... And after hiding out for so long the Ookami refused to serve time for what she considered self defense.
However, despite her not-so-noble pledge, Mikka had frightened off a bunch of teenagers who'd been out here smoking and doing God-knew-what-else in order to get her peace. Scaring was fine. As long as she didn't kill or assualt anyone, there was no reason to worry.

Madoka was in a good mood, especially since lately she could actually talk again. Granted, they were small and simple sentences, but hey, they were something! Aiden and Keisko and all her other friends would be extremely excited, she just knew it! Who knew all that therapy at the hospital would ACTUALLY work?
As the little Ookami was strolling through the open space around the manor, she noticed a girl near by. This excited her, she wanted to talk to other people more before she started talking to herself just to hear her voice again. As she neared the girl however, there was something that made the brunette stop in her tracks. Call her paranoid, but lately her 'sixth sense' was kicking in a lot more than usual. There was something about the girl that she couldn't put her finger on. "S-scary..." murmured 'Doka as she tried to back away before she was noticed.

Mikka somehow had picked up on the fact that she still was not entirely alone.
"Кто там?" She instinctively called in Russian, whirling around to scan the area. Her senses were currently in hyper-drive, searching for any movement. However, it wasn't until a few moments later that the Ookami realized whoever she was speakingto probably hadn't understood what she had said. "Wer ist da?" Realizing that was right either she quickly amended her statement. "I mean... Who is there?"

Karter was taking a quick rest in the big oak tree by the manor, Spring was upon them and the Tora was grateful for his lack of allergies and his good cover under the leaves. He deserved a rest, honestly. Defending his host was hard work, hiding the bodies was even harder what with the police now on high-alert. Still, evading them was as simple as ever. Right now he had forgone his mask and left it back at the base, feeling the cool mid-spring breeze on his face was lovely.
Had it not been for the aggressive-sounding smattering of Russian and German he heard (though the hostility went down with every variation of the phrase), he would have fallen asleep. But he had heard it, and now he was curious, and as such pulled out his knife to play with as he called out. "The Man In The Moon, M'dear~" He put a lilt on his voice, toying with the sound so it would sound akin to that of a cheerful bard more than a dangerous killer.

Madoka stopped in her tracks once again when she heard another voice close by. There were two scary people now? She didn't know whether she should stay or leave, they didn't seem too scary, but there was something a little weird.
Deciding to stay, the blue eyed Ookami turned to look at the two people. There was the girl(she had heard her speak three different languages, interesting) then the guy had a knife... Why exactly wasn't she leaving again?
"Um..." She muttered sheepishly. "H-Hi...?" her voice wasn't as fluid as it use to be, maybe in a few weeks, but right now the hesitation in her voice was extremely apparent.

"Interesting. I always thought he'd look less scary," she replied to the mystery man's statement. However, Mikka's gaze quickly tore away from the first new comer to the small girl who once she had spoken up. While her facial expression had been somewhat hostile towards the man, her gaze softened upon seeing to whom the second, more feeble voice belonged. She looked harmless, really. As well as adorable.
"Hello," the blonde Ookami greeted through her thick, jumbled accent. "You have no reason to sound so scared. I am not having any plans of harming you." Her speech, as always, sounded a bit odd and jumbled. Mikka was still adjusting to this new language, and made frequent grammatical hiccups whenever she spoke.

Karter chuckled. "Didn't expect the first Russki I met to be a sour-faced girl around my age, either. We're even." Fairly sure that this girl would pose no threat, he slipped off of his branch and landed lightly on his feet. Honestly, he was more interested than offended, so he let the barb pass without too much retaliation. The butterfly knife spun and flipped in his hand, opening, closing, twirling, and sending the occasional gleam of sunlight into the foreigner's eyes before he closed it and slipped it into his pocket with a flourish. He hadn't been intending to leap in so soon, and unless he was going to murder someone he only used the knife to keep himself entertained.
Turning to the girl he cracked a grin. "You seem harmless enough, kid, I'm not planning to bite ya either." She was small and young, and Theo sincerely doubted her ability to be a threat.

'Not planning...?' thought Madoka in her head. 'As in they COULD?' she shook her head anyway, she was probably just psyching herself out. They just said they weren't gonna hurt her so she should be fine.
The younger brunette smiled a little at the two. "D-Doka," she introduced herself as to them, most people tended to call her that more than Madoka anyway. "You...?" She hoped they wouldn't think her lack of full out sentences to be too weird, at least she could talk now after all.

"Mikka," the Ookami responded gruffly whilst pointing to herself. Her gaze flickered back towards Karter. She was smiling now, probably for Doka's sake. Though there was still a bit of icy fire swimming behind her sharp grey eyes. Her face twisted into a sort of smirk as she added, "Does the man in the moon have a name? Or maybe a shorter title at least?"

"You may call me Karter, if that suits you." He said, dipping into a short bow for the brunette, curling his arm in front of him while the other lay behind his back. A gentleman's bow. He straightened himself out. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Miss Doka." He simply ignored Mikka, infuriating her seemed like a fun experiment. And since she was in Ookami, not Tora, the odds of Theo bumping into her were much slimmer. He could tell already this would be a fun experiment. Besides, a good fight or battle of wits was always nice. Especially when he never lost.

So, he was going to play this game, was he? Thankfully for Mikka, she didn't fall prey to easily to mind tricks. Although on the other end of the spectrum, she did have quite a temper. There was a very delicate balance when it came to the Ookami's emotions. It was tricky to tell just what would tip the scale.
"There is never alone time in this place," the blonde half-muttered under her breath. "I spent all that effort scaring the last group off. Now I'm tired for nothing." Not really caring about the other two, Mikka simply sighed and fell back into the long grass, sprawled out like she was preparing to take a nap. However, she was still very awake.

"Karter... and Mikka." mumbled Madoka to herself. They seemed okay, but the little brunette looked a little worried at Mikka's comment. "I... Me leave th-then...?" she asked, feeling a little shy around these two. She wasn't sure why, she had managed to break through Aiden's tough shell without too much fear at all, yet she seemed a little uncomfortable around them for some odd reason. She hoped they wouldn't get offended..

Karter waved away Madoka's idea to abscond with a motion of his hand. "No no, not at all. I think what Mikka needs is some good conversation. Something I think you're able to generate for her." He smiled, attempting to make it disarming. "Come along Miss Doka." He said, plunking down uncomfortably close to Mikka.

Mikka scowled a gave a throaty huff. This guy just really wanted to piss her off, didn't he? Fine let him, she could always bash his brains out on another day... preferablely with no witnesses. The Russian looked over at Madoka momentarily and then switched her gaze back up to the sky with a sigh. As much as she'd love to give this Karter guy a whooping right now, having the tiny Ookami around made it a bad choice.
"You are trying to irk me, no?" The blonde sighed again. "Very well." She waved her hand lazily. "Proceed."
