Theo was sprawled out in the middle of a patch of fall-blooming flowers. They wouldn't be around for too much longer, but he hadn't had enough time to just sit back and take in some peace like this... ever, really. There had always been some overhanging terror that his father would find him slacking off and break a bottle over his head to get him moving again. But here, between some bush and a patch of blooms, he felt nice and peaceful and safe.
Karter, on the other hand, was alert as always while his other half dozed in comfort. It was good that the stuttering sixteen-year-old relaxed a little, but it was no time to forfeit safety. Karter would take care of that though, he would make sure Theo stayed safe. Just like always.
Hence, when he heard the sound of approaching footsteps while Theo mused on how nice everything looked in the moonlight, he mentally nudged the teen to attentiveness.

Unlike how he normally spent his nights (partying and getting wasted) Seishiro had decided upon having a more quiet evening strolling around the garden. There's were some bittersweet memories in this place, but they were either unhurtful or easy to supress.
It was chilly. The Tora didn't usually get cold, but he wrapped his lavender scarf tighter around his neck anyways. His lifestyle didn't allow for him to catch colds. Seishiro glanced ahead and noticed he wasn't alone. Not exactly surprising, this was a public place, but that didn't mean he couldn't wonder what they were doing there. Seishiro's boots brushed through the tall blossoms as he drew closer to the person laying down a few feet ahead.
"Nice night, huh?" The Tora was aware that he'd probably startled the poor boy, but that wasn't very high on his list of concerns.

Theo jumped and rolled over to face whoever has just spoken, and was halfway onto his feet before he realized that while flashy, they didn't look too dangerous... "Oh.. y-yeah.. I guess it is..." Theo mumbled as he finished getting onto his feet and brushed a few leaves out of his hair and off of his jacket. At least now that it was getting colder, people wouldn't think twice about him being so covered up. It would be harder when it got warmer, but he could manage.
"Oh!" He held his hand halfway out for a handshake. "I-I'm Theo... I just moved here a couple of weeks ago..." He didn't know why he had added in the last part, but it was best to explain why no one had ever seen him before.

The flamboyant Tora shook the boys hand with a friendly grin. "I guess that would explain why I haven't seen you around before. Otherwise I'm pretty sure I'd have to remember someone so cute." Barely a sentence in and he was already flirting with the guy. He really had no shame...
Only as an after thought did he add his name. "Oh, and I'm Seishiro." Of course he looked innocent at the moment, bug anyone that knew him would recognize this as a clever ploy.

Theo blinked at the comment. That was... odd... Theo certainly didn't think of himself as cute, But he didn't really like himself much at all, if he were a little bigger and stronger, that would be better, but... Well, benefit of the doubt, he'd just chalk it up to Seishiro being friendly. "I'm... not really cute though... b-but, uh... thank you?" Better be too polite than rude.
Karter was glaring at the other Tora from the recesses of Theo's mind, mostly because he was MUCH better at reading people than Theo was. And, oh did he had this one PEGGED. He certainly didn't like this Seishiro person, not at all. He stayed on high-alert, ready to take over and break some bones as soon as this guy put a TOE out of line...

"No problem," Seishiro replied with an airy laugh. For a moment he wanted to argue with Theo, the boy was pretty adorable, but he seemed like the innocent, anxious type, and pushing the matter may only make him nervous. However, he did want to keep the conversation rolling.
"So what is exactly is such an innocent-looking fellow such as yourself doing in the middle of the garden at this hour?" Well, Theo could vey well ask Him the same question, but Seishiro was a shady person... He did plenty of things without reason.

Theo glanced over a little. "Well I just... wanted to enjoy this place before... uh, before winter came..." He rubbed his arm awkwardly. His social skills had never really been able to develop properly, but he supposed that practice was a good idea. "Ah... what about you? What are you doing out here this late?" He had to admit that he hadn't expected to see anyone out this late.

"Just wandering around, I suppose." Seishiro shrugged. "Normally I'm down at the Allure, but I needed to take a break and do some thinking." Yes, even the insane non-stop party-boy needed a break every once in awhile. Sometimes a little peace was nice... but only a little. Seishiro couldn't possibly have a night like this multiple times in a row without going crazy.

"The... Allure?" Wasn't that the nightclub? Theo had never gone in, but he had certainly overheard things about it at the base. He knew he'd never visit it, it just would be too many people in one place.
Karter's scowl deepened from his spot within the recesses of Theo's mind. The more he heard, the better this got, if he was lucky he'd get to knock some heads tonight and scare off the elder Tora. All he needed was for the man to upset Theo and he would be gifted with a golden ticket to ass-kick city.

"Yeah... You know, strobe lights, music, alcohol... All of life's goodies rolled up into one ska skankily clad ball." He smirked. "You should go sometime. I bet you'd be popular." Okay, he was teasing the kid a bit, but it was in his nature. Seishiro couldn't help it.

Out of the listed qualities, Theo only thought that music might be something good at the Allure. The rest of it he wanted to stay VERY far away from. "I-I doubt that..." He mumbled. "Not good with crowds..." The last part came out even softer than the rest of his words, and it was clear that Theo had a huge gaping hole where his confidence should have been.

"Doesn't mean you can't learn to adjust." Seishiro used various dramatic movements as he spoke, a demonstration of his overactive energy. "Trust me, I've met plenty of people who said the same thing and now I see them every night partying it up in plenty of crowded places." It was a true statement. The Tora took a particular joy in corrupting the innocent. He was, after years of experience, quite good at it.

Theo had to duck to avoid getting hit by one of Seishy's arms, though he wasn't sure if the the Tora really noticed it or not. He also wasn't sure if Seishy's insistence was flattering or irritating, but he kept his expression the same. If it kept people from getting mad, he'd fake whatever he had to. "I... don't have the, um, time for it either..." He was still poking around for work and trying to learn how to duel. Not that he had much aptitude for the second one.

Seishiro paused, glancing over at the younger Tora expressionlessly. After a moment he gave a sigh and a dramatic shrug. "Have it your why then. But you're missing out."
He wouldn't push the matter any further, being well aware that there were people who actually had to work for a living... Although the thought kind of bummed the Tora out. In his mind, anyone and everyone needed to spend every night of their lives on the edge. Any other form of living was just boring and wrong.

Not on much, he thought to himself. Partying was scary and used up a lot of money and time, only one of which the Tora had in abundance until he found a job. Then he'd have only a little of both. "Um..." He scrambled to try and pick up the conversation. "So... what were you th-thinking about, Seishiro?" The Canadian asked his clanmate. "Er... that is, not that I want to pry or anything... uh..." Well, THAT was intelligent...
