The Ookami neither confirmed nor denied the 'boyfriend' comment, he'd just let her believe that until Eva told her about the baby (hell if he was going to, some people were total psychos when you gave bad news). "I'm Aiden King." He introduced himself, though he barely remembered his last name. He hadn't needed to remember it yet, honestly, no one wanted it and he had no job to speak of... "Nice to meet you." He tagged on the formality, though it honestly WASN'T very nice... personally he would have been fine without the interruption by the overly-friendly woman, and he was sure that Eva could at least pick up on that. Rachel on the other hand, might not.

Eva sighed quietly as the two exchanged the introductions. She could tell Aiden wasn't too thrilled about it, but she supposed it could be worse. It could have been Lucas that showed up, or Avery. Avery would NOT have been good, she would have probably recognized Aiden from when he worked with the government, and that would make thing worse right there.
Rachel nodded and continued smiling, then she noticed the coming by with her tea. She quickly waved him over to the table she was currently at with Eva and Aiden. "Oh waiter, I'll be sitting over here if you don't mind." she told him.
Eva's eyes widened a little as the waiter handed Rachel her tea and walked off. "You're not really gonna sit here, are you?" she asked.
The older tilted her head. "Of course I am, we've got lots to catch up on!" she said as she took a seat beside her sister. Eva gave Aiden a look, more to say 'sorry' than anything. She knew Rachel wouldn't get out of their hair now unless something else caught her eye...

Aiden sent a half-shrug at Eva. More of a 'what can you do?' than anything else. He wanted to just tell Rachel flat-out that no, she couldn't sit with them and if she didn't move within the next ten seconds he was going to kick her ass for some entertainment, but alienating Eva's family would just be a bad idea right now. He'd have to save that for a day where it was at least excusable... Hopefully he wouldn't get asked too many questions by the elder Shimazaki sibling, she made him oddly uncomfortable. Maybe it was how much she talked, or at the speed in which words spewed out of her mouth, but he really didn't feel like talking to her.

There was an odd silent at the table for a moment as Rachel took a sip of her tea. When she put it back down however, she jumped right back into conversation. "So Evangeline, or wait, Lucas said you prefer Eva now? Well, I guess that makes since, it suits you better, simple too. And maybe a form of rebellion?" she asked in the end.
Eva rolled her eyes at the last comment. When they were little they would get in trouble for using a different name than the one they were given at birth. For some reason Mother was really picky on even that. "It's just easier to say, and Evangeline sounds too stuck up for me." she thought it was a good enough reason. "Now that we've discussed my hair and my name, may we please change the subject?" The Tora paused after she spoke. That tone she just used, was she being PROPER? She hadn't noticed until then but she was also sitting up straighter. She guessed it was old habits from her childhood coming back since Rachel was there. Still, her? Polite? Manners? Proper? That was just embarassing to the ex gangster!
Rachel sighed. "Very well." she smiled and turned back to Aiden. "So Aiden, tell me about yourself. Do you have a job? I can see your in Ookami." she pointed to the green band on his wrist.

"Not yet." The giant said, trying to force down the rising feeling of awkwardness that seemed to be encompassing his guts. "I'm looking though. What do you do?" Maybe he could survive this if he just let her talk, it would be unpleasant, just... maybe he could learn to ignore her better. A skill that he was sure was going to come in handy later on in life: Feigning interest.

Rachel smiled a little wider, like she was glad the conversation was turned back to her. "I'm a lawyer, actually." she stated, proud. "One of the city's best, if I may say so."
While Rachel continued to go on and on about her line of work, Eva was wondering if she should say anything about the baby or not. Getting help from the start would be good, but who's to say they would help?

Aiden just nodded or shook his head as it seemed based on Rachel's facial expressions, her voice had faded to a dull roaring at the back of his mind. He glanced over to Eva to see if he could figure out what she was thinking. Judging from her look, thinking about something difficult... probably her family's reaction to the kid. He certainly wasn't looking forward to her brothers' reactions... and he was sure her sisters (or at least one of them) would be horrible after finding out.

Eva glanced over at Aiden like she was hoping he'd have an idea of what to do about it. Fat chance, odds were he didn't know either. Her eyes moved over to her sister, who was still chattering away in her usual peppy tone.
Well, the more she thought about it the more she convinced herself that now wasn't really the time to say anything about it anyway. The mother-too-be was still trying to get through the overall shock of it herself, it still didn't seem completely real to her. Besides, who knew what Rachel would do if she heard that Eva had gotten pregnant(she could already picture what Avery and Lucas' reactions would be, not that she cared too much for Avery).
Rachel paused to take another drink of her tea. While she seemed like a bubbly talker, she had made herself fully aware of Eva and Aiden's motions and expressions during her little rant. There was something bugging them(aside from her of course), and she was curious.
With a small laugh the elder sister looked back at Aiden and Eva. "Well that's enough about me, has anything happened with you two lately?" she asked curiously.

Aiden't attention returned to Eva's sibling as she spoke. He only barely caught the question and gave a shrug in response. "Nothing too major." He said, deciding to keep the baby a bit more of a secret until later. Once it was less of a strange concept to both he and Eva they'd have to inform the Shimazaki family, but definitely not until then. Aiden liked his spine where it was, thank you kindly. He just hoped that Rachel was as unobservant as she seemed at first glance, though that might be hoping for a little too much at the moment.
