Aiden was glad that the Wok wasn't too far from the beach, he was ALSO glad that he even knew where it was. He'd look like an idiot if he hadn't... Though he couldn't afford to eat out every day, so his cooking skills were getting a little better as time went on. A plus, considering that if his guess was right the dreaded 'cravings' would start up soon.
He opened the door for Eva, keeping their hands linked as the bell jingled and a hostess looked up from her podium.

Eva walked into the Wok with Aiden, the smell of food hitting her almost as soon as she walked in. It couldn't be the craving just yet, but she was hungry! Then again, not eating that day might have been another reason for it.
After confirming a table for two they followed the hostess to a table in a not so crowded section of the restaurant. As Eva took her seat she couldn't help but notice that there was a little family in a booth nearby, a mother and father, then a girl that looked about ten, and little boy sitting in a booster seat. She turned her attention back to their table before someone caught her staring. It was just so strange, she still couldn't wrap her mind around it yet.

Aiden couldn't help but smile at the family as they passed. To think... in less than a year he'd have a family too... The concept actually seemed nice, especially since he didn't recall anything with his family yet... maybe he would later, but recovering his memories would come second from now on. Eva would have to come first.
Menus were placed in front of them as they sat and the server, a brunette with an under bite and freckles, asked to start them off with something to drink. "Water's fine for me." He said with a shrug, glancing over to Eva.

Eva paused. "Er, I'll have water too." she told the waiter. She didn't know what she could and couldn't drink just yet(well, aside from alcohol, but everyone knew that) so she just decided to play it safe. The waiter nodded and went on his way.
The blond picked up her menu and skimmed through it. Everything sounded so good... She wasn't sure what to pick. "What looks good to you?" she asked Aiden. A big guy like him had to have quite the appetite too after all.

Aiden scanned the menu. "Might sound horrible, but the Bacon Double Cheeseburger..." What could he say? He was a sucker for burgers. Delicious bastards. He gave an grin, "And the ribs... and the pancakes, though I doubt I could get those..." Okay, so he was hungry. And what was wrong with breakfast for dinner? Or lunch... he wasn't sure what time it was.

Eva laughed. "Got a sweet-tooth there?" she asked him, looking up from her menu for a second before going back to it. They did have some pretty good burgers on the menu, and the bbq wings didn't sound too bad right now either. That was actually one of her favorite meals actually. Wings along with her favorite...
"Uuugh..." the Tora muttered, hanging her head for a moment. "No more beer..." not for the next nine months at the least anyway. She wasn't an alcoholic by any means, but she loved the stuff. Eva wondered what else she'd have to remove from her diet.

"Yep!" He responded, unashamed. Sweet things were tasty, no doubt about that. And Eva's groan made him laugh just a little. He blamed schadenfreude.
"It's only for nine months... actually, closer to eight now..." Well, he was pretty sure anyway. "On the plus side, you get to eat more." It made sense considering that for the moment, their kid was just a parasite of sorts. Eva would NEED to eat more.

Eva pulled her head back up and sighed. "Good point." she grinned. Eating a lot without getting judged sounded pretty awesome to her. She laughed a little and shook her head, propping her head up with the palm of her hand. "This is gonna take some getting use to, and all the people we're gonna have to tell eventually..." she could already see Hotaru's reaction, and it wasn't a pretty sight.

Aiden gave a wry smile. "Almost makes me glad not to have a family anymore." On the downside, no support from parents or siblings when he would need it. No advice, nothing. They were doing this almost entirely on their own, with almost nothing to base it off of other than Eva's childhood... and his own, if he could remember it.

Eva paused for a moment and frowned when she realized something. She was going to need a few check ups at the hospital for the baby, that meant... "I'm gonna run into my brother at the hospital again... Don't think he'll enjoy the news." She gave a little laugh anyway. Anthony was a gentle soul, maybe he wouldn't react too negatively about it, though she wasn't sure if it made things worse or better that Aiden had been a patient of his...

Aiden blinked, not sure why she would have to. "But isn't he a neurologist? Why would you run into him when he probably works in a completely different wing of the hospital?" Well, unless word got to him through the grapevine of nurses and he made sure to meet up with her... Actually, the more that he thought about it, the more likely it seemed. The attendants were a gossipy bunch, he knew that for a fact.

Eva shrugged. "I'm sure I'd still run into him one way or another." she told him. "I've been running into my brothers a lot lately, like the other week..." she frowned a little, her shoulder was still a little sore from that Theo kid.

"It was right before I found out." she pat her stomach a little. "I... wasn't really in one of my best moods and tried pickin' a fight with some kid." she admitted, a bit sheepish. "My brother Lucas, who just happens to be chief of police, saw what was goin' on and stopped us before anything really happened." The Tora chose not to mention her arm to him, half way because she didn't want him getting worried, and half because she didn't want to admit that she practically lost to a kid.

Aiden nodded, deciding that if Eva didn't say anything, he probably shouldn't worry. Not right now, at least. "So Lucas and Anthony... and who else?" He remembered Eva only barely from before, but he wasn't sure about her family in the slightest.
