"Fair warning," Karter said, taking hold of her upper arm and her shoulder. "It's going to hurt." And it would be sore for awhile, she'd also want to keep off of it... but she could figure that all out on her own. He popped the joint back into place, the sickening sound of grinding bone a testament to that.

The blond bit her cheek hard when he popped her arm back in place. She took her arm back and held it. "Alright, now c'mon." she told Theo, beginning to walk in the direction she knew headquarters was. She wasn't going to thank him for fixing it, he was the one to pull it out of its socket in the first place.

Theo followed after Eva, irritation starting to show after only a few minutes of walking. He could go MUCH faster than this! "You know what, just give me the directions. You're WAY too slow."

Eva paused and turned to him. "Oh, this is slow?" she asked. "I could go slower." With that said the ex-gangster started slowing down her steps even more. What could she say? The guy kinda irritated her.

Karter could have growled, instead, he simply grabbed Eva's sore arm and started to tug her forward. To any outsider, he probably looked like an impatient younger brother, and they'd be half right about that.

Eva showed no sign of pain when he started tugging her sore arm, but managed a small snicker instead. "How do ya know where you're goin'? Ain't got directions an' I only know how to get there by walkin' it." Was it sad that she didn't have actual streets and addresses memorized? Nah, she only memorized those when they were important, like Hotaru's house.

Karter didn't relent, instead he pulled harder. "Then tell me when to turn." He snapped back. He was starting to reach the end of his considerably short rope. Theo would probably be terrified when he woke up, and that meant he'd have to do some undercover soothing again. He had hoped he wouldn't have to do as much of that when they had gotten her, but no such luck.

Eva thought about it for a moment as he kept pulling her. "Umm... Ya know, I'm kinda drawin' a blank." she told him just to annoy him more. "Maybe it's this turn coming up? " she asked herself out loud as they came to a turn. "Oh wait! I don't think that's it, maybe it's the turn coming up after this, or maybe..." she continued to blabber on and on, trying to take a few pages out of Rachel's book with over-talking.

Karter glared up at the woman, stomach growling loudly. "I can BREAK your arm instead of just dislocating it, if you'd like." He hissed. Dammit he was hungry and if this kept up he'd just be better off roof-jumping to find his way back.

Eva blinked and looked down at him. She couldn't help but let out a snicker or two. "Alright, alright. Someone's impatient." she commented, still grinning as they neared a turn. "Ya turn here, go on for 'bout three blocks, and turn left again, does that help any?" she asked him.

Karter bolted as soon of the information was out of the blond's mouth. No chance in the world that he'd thank her for any of that, not after all that had happened. Hell, if it happened again he WOULD break her arm. And both of her legs. And leave her in the woods to bleed out.
