Eva winced from the pain, biting her lip to keep from showing any other sort of response. She really couldn't get out of this one, as much as she hated to say it. She forced a grin on her face and turned her head to him as far as she could from where she was. "Kinda hard to give directions if I'm bein' attacked wouldn't ya say?" she asked, voice slightly unsteady. "Lemme go and I'll tell ya." Say what you want about Eva, but she knew when she was beat or when enough was enough.

"Mmm..." Karter hummed. "Wrong answer." He jerked her arm up, fully dislocating the woman's shoulder. He let it fall a little and tugged on it to send another jolt of pain through the blond's body. "Care to try again?"

"Gahh!!" the blond yelled out in pain. "The FUCK, man!? I said I'd tell ya!!" What was the guy's problem? She wasn't even this bad!
Meanwhile, Officer Lucas Shimazaki, a tall blond man in his late twenties, had been patrolling the area. Okay, not really, he had just gotten off duty for the day and was on his way home, still in uniform. As he was passing the tower he started to hear a lot of commotion, it sounded like a fight. This, of course, concerned him and he rushed over to the source of the sound.
He had half expected it to be a fight between two clans people, particularly an Ookami versus a Kuma or Tora considering the area? But when Lucas arrived to where the noise was coming from, he found two Toras, a brunette kid and a blond woman whose face wasn't really in his view at the moment. He ran over and cut between the two to break up the fight.
"Hey hey!" he yelled, pulling out his badge. "Itonami P.D. What's goin' on?"
Eva's eyes widen when she saw who the officer was, trying to hide her face from him when he came in between the two, but still try to get her mind away from the pain in her shoulder. Great way for a family reunion, huh? Maybe when this was all done he'd take her to see Anthony to further embarrass her.

Karter glanced up at the officer. "A conflict." He said, perfectly calm as if he HADN'T just dislocated his clanmate's shoulder. Had Theo been able to see this he would have burst into tears in terror... or perhaps relief, the police officer would have been cutting in on his behalf. No use speculating though, Theo had been in danger and Karter had stepped in as was his duty, and he would deal with this so the gentler part of him wouldn't need to.
Simple.
"Though, I suppose it WAS a little overkill..." It wasn't, but that would be what the officer wished to hear, he was sure.

Lucas listened to the boy and looked back and forth between the two. The woman was still blocking her face from him, and after a moment or two began to recognize who it was. The officer let out a disappointed sigh. "Evangeline?" he asked.
The blond Tora looked up, but averted her eyes from her older brother. "Long time no see bro." she muttered quietly. This was not a good day for her.

Karter had to repress a chuckle at the woman's name. 'Evangeline,' how unlucky could you GET? Theo and he had better names by far. And Karter's was taken from Theo's favorite character's name on some cartoon. The younger Tora decided to sit back and watch the scene unfold.

Lucas looked at Eva for another moment, he was obvious he was disappointed. "So you're still getting yourself into trouble, huh?" he asked her. "I really expected more out of you at this point Evangeline, you're a grown woman now."
"First off," Eva started. "I go by Eva now. Evangeline's... just not me." she decided to word it. "Second, I wasn't the one to rip his arm out it's fuckin' socket!" she glared at the other Tora.
The officer blinked and turned back to the boy. "How about you tell me your side of the story before I make up my mind on how to deal with this." he told him. He wasn't rude in the slightest, he just wanted to get the story straight. If there was one thing he knew about his sister is was her temper, and her talent for stretching the truth or twisting people's words. He wasn't going to give her special treatment this time, he had warned her of that last time he arrested her.

Theo glanced at Eva. "I'll have you know that's easy to fix..." He returned his eyes to the officer. "She bumped into" My other half. "me and tried to punch me, I blocked her, but she persisted. I was simply defending myself." And lucky him, he didn't have to lie and the other Tora had mentioned nothing of his taunts or his 'mood swing.'

Lucas listened to his side, nodding after he finished. "Alright, well no one seems to be hurt," he was interrupted by Eva pointing to her shoulder, which only made him laugh quietly. "Evan- er, Eva, I think you of all people should be able to deal with that. Well, until you get it check out of course."
Eva rolled her eyes. "Bull shit, Lucas." she wasn't going to get it checked out, he of all people knew that, it was just his way of hinting that she should go see their other brother(and eldest of the Shimazaki siblings), Anthony.
The blond Tora turned her eyes back at the boy and raised a brow. "So what's your name, kid?" she asked, figuring it'd be best not to instigate anything with her brother around.

"Theo." Karter responded promptly. He had learned it was easier to give his other "Though I really do need those directions, Miss Eva, I've only been in the city for a day or two." And he was currently penniless, and hungry, with a headache starting up to boot.

Eva kept her eyes on Theo a little longer. "Directions?" she asked to clarify.
Lucas sighed. "Just help him out, will you?" he looked back at his baby sister. Damn, it had been, what, two or three years since their last run in. She was still the same, he found it kinda funny. Still, he never liked the road she had gone on since their mother had kicked her out, he kept hoping there was something he could do to help her out.
The blond male looked his sister in the eye, serious, but with a clear amount of concern. "You know how to reach me if you need me, alright?"
Eva nodded, trying to get the conversation done with. "Ya told me last time, I gotcha." she said, turning back to Theo, nodding her head in the direction to get back to headquarters. "C'mon kid."

Karter's look hardened. "I'm not a kid, Evangeline." Alright, perhaps the childish jab at her name was rather counterproductive, but he honestly couldn't have resisted if he tried. "Lead the way."

Eva glared at him a little when he called her by her real name. No one(except for her siblings) ever called her by that name, no one! It was too snobby and stuck up sounding and-
She was cut off when Lucas put a hand on her shoulder. "Behave." he told her, talking to her like she was still five years old. "I'll see you around." with that, he waved and went back on his way. He knew chances were she wouldn't want him sticking around her, in fact he was proud to say he knew her better than any of their other siblings. He'd stick with his gut and just leave her be for now; if she really needed him, she's get a long of him somehow.
After Lucas left Eva looked back at Theo. "Don't ever call me that again and I won't call you 'Kid', okay?" she said to him to make things clear. Gaaahh, she HATED that name so much!

"Sounds lovely." He said, voice back to its usual tone. If she didn't do anything to piss him off, he'd extend the same courtesy. "Would you like your arm back in it's socket too? I can do that in exchange for the directions." A small smirk. Not that he should really be smug about his knowledge of fixing people, considering it was all trial-and-error self-teaching in the worst of ways.

"Go for it." she told him, turning back to where her arm was in his direction. She was originally just going to toughen it out and get someone else to help her with it later, but she wouldn't pass up the offer now.
