The Allure was lively that night, people of all walks, creeds, ages, and clans were in there that night. The music was loud, and the lights flashed and pulsed in time with the beat. The biggest rave on this side of the planet, with everyone drinking until they couldn't remember their own names.
And over at the bar, Jamie was in his element.
The Ookami was able to make any drink for anybody at top speeds. With the crowd the way it was tonight, he was one of several bartenders working. A damn shame, he'd prefer to get shitfaced with the rest of the city, but alas, SOMEONE had to provide the liquor. And he could always chug some moonshine when he got home, no problem.
Finding someone to warm his bed, on the other hand, was a different story. He was tapped for cash and didn't feel like making enemies with any boyfriends (or girlfriends, he didn't discriminate when sex was on the line) so he supposed he could reign in his impulses tonight. He wouldn't die or anything, although he might come close to it...
The Irishman slid a few shots over to a group of half-drunk clan members, all red faced from dancing, and leaned back. Another barman was holding down the fort with another order, and Jamie figured it was alright for him to take a breather (even if he couldn't step outside for it).

It was certainly a busy night, just like any other. After being on the job for many years Fred had long-since adjusted to the fast-paced work at the Allure, along with some of the quirkier customers. The particular one he had in mind hadn't shown up yet, but he'd probably be in sooner or later.
After handling another round of orders, Fred glanced over to where his red-headed co-worker was taking a quick break. The Tora didn't really blame him, everyone wanted a breather every now and again.
"Busy as always," the blue-eyed Tora told Jamie through his British accent. He didn't make eye contact, but Fred never really did when he talked. He always seemed to be concentrating on something when he spoke, whether it be twidling his thumbs or cleaning a glass.

"Busier 'n usual." Jamie corrected, running a hand through hair and further mussing his already messing locks. He looked over to Fredrick and snapped his fingers, grinning. "Oi, Freddy, look up when ya talk ta people. Ya'll look like a bloody gobshite if ya don't." It'd be a damn shame if Fredrick got people thinking he WAS a idiot, the Tora was actually pretty smart. Something Jamie had found out through working with the other man.

Fred's lips quirked up at the ends into a wry half-grin. He tossed his messy brown bangs out of his face, finally making eye contact.
"Sorry, It's a bad habit." And not one he would bother changing. It was easier to keep what he was thinking inside his head if people weren't reading his face all the time. The only one he made sure to look at when talking was Gran, probably because she'd beat him if he didn't.

The redhead shook his head and chuckled. "I've got 'alf a mind ta smack ya 'round some next time ya do it. Keep it 'n mind." He grinned, glanced out to the dance floor, and gave a sigh. "Dunno 'bout you, but I'd rather be out there than in 'ere." He gestured to the dance floor. Jamie rarely saw Fred outside of work, and never once had he met him at the Allure off-duty. Odd, but not impossible.

"It does look like a bit more fun, doesn't it?" Fred observed with a small smirk. "Until someone throws up on your shoes."
Truth be told, he'd never really been a member of the "club scene." He didn't dislike it or anything, it just wasn't a pastime he obessed over. Between working and trying to keep an eye on his family (and sometimes Seishy, God knew the boy needed it), he just didn't have a lot of spare time. Not these days anyway.

An obligatory eye roll was given. "Yeah, yeah, but it's all part o' th' feel o' th' place." And generally you were staying quick enough to avoid the guy who was going to puke on you. Just a general rule of thumb. "Ya really need ta learn ta stay easy, relax. Ya ever even 'ad a shag?" Jamie might be crass and a drunkard, but at least he got laid regularly. What could he say? The accent was sexy. A shit-eating grin was on his face as he turned to handle another round, waiting to see how Freddy would handle the somewhat-playful jab.

The was some spark of illedgible emotion behind Fred's blue eyes when he smirked beneath his curtain of messy hair. Despite being friendly and popular with the opposite sex, Fred really didn't bother much with relationships. He was always the one coaching everyone else through them, gives them pats on the head and getting them back up on the horse when he fell off.
Plus, he was never the type to have a one-night stand either, probably (once again) because Gran would beat the shit out of him if she found out. Was it sad for a twenty-five-year-old man to fear his own grandmother? Probably, but he still did.
"You have your idea of fun and I've got mine." Still, the Tora winked. "But who says I don't get around every now and again?"

A laugh bubbled out of the Ookami's throat. "Ah ha... ha... ah...." He wiped at his eyes and shook a finger at the slightly older man. "Lyin's a bad 'abit, mate. 'Ah can jus' tell you 'aven't." There was always a certain air about Fred that indicated it. "An' if ya 'ave, then not for awhile."
Jamie gave a smirk. "'S Somethin' ah'll 'ave ta fix for ya." Find him a nice hooker, take him to a strip club. SOMETHING. In Jamie's eyes, no man above 21 should be a virgin, it would be a crime against nature.

Jamie wouldn't have been the first one to say so. There had been others... Even Mum was asking why he didn't have a girlfriend. Not that she wanted him out of the house (he was the only one making any money at this point), but she still wanted to see him act like a normal guy. Seishiro had also especially pushy but in the begining he had just been trying to get into the fellow Tora's pants. He'd quit it after he realized that this was one man who could see through his flirtatious bullshit. Ah, that was the problem, wasn't it? He was too practicle.
Well what about the girl that Seishy kept bringing in every month or so? She was pretty cute. What had her name been again?
"What, exactly, d'ya mean by fix?" the Tora asked, somewhat amused by the ideas of a possible answer.

Jamie leaned on the bar, starting to tick off options on his fingers. "Blind dates, strip clubs, bars, hookers, not-so-blind-dates, dating sites, gettin' someone ta teach ya how ta bloody flirt, an' so on, an' so on." Although the Irishman couldn't honestly do the last one for Fred. He was more of a smooth-talker than a flirt, and it just came naturally to him.
A smirk was directed toward the Tora. "Need ah go on?" He asked rhetorically, spreading his arms a little with the fingers extended.

"No, I think I got most of it," the Tora chuckled. Strips clubs and hookers, eh? Interesting idea. Probably not something he'd ever take into consideration, but interesting all the same. "Hookers, huh?" Fred was amused and, as always, willing to at least listen.
