Hi smiled and typed some more, then got up from her seat, she turned to the pair, "I'm going to get your IVs, pain relievers and antibiotics, also I'll be bringing a hospital gown, since your clothes are trashed." She nodded to Persephone, then she walked toward the door and paused turning back to the couple, "I'll call some nurses to help you into bed."
The turned, and left walking to the nurses' station, telling them that room one needed assistance, they agreed happily and three nurse walked over to room one. Hi didn't pay attention to what happened next, but kept walking, to the pharmacy.
She went to the desk, taking out her ID and handed it to the pharmacist, "One pain reliever, bullet wound, and antibiotics for the blood." The pharmacist nodded and said as he took her ID, "Yes Miss Hana, be a few minutes." He turned away, leaving Hi there, tapping her foot. Hoping beyond hope that nothing horrible would go wrong while she was gone.

"Why are you so cruel to me, Kaito?" Persephone crossed her arms with an angry huff. Her clanmate smirked.
"Just paying you back for the years of abuse at your hands," he shot back with a smirk. "I think a little payback is fair every once in awhile."
"But you deserved it."
"How so?"
"You just did." Persephone smirked and hung her head back, looking quite bored. "So I bet your life has been pretty dull without me in it, eh? Is everyone else bored to tears as well?" Kaito shrugged.
"I wouldn't know, I left right after you did."
"Aw, you missed me that much? I'm touched." Kaito only snorted in response.
On the other side of the room, Jane was steadily growing more and more awake. It was hard to keep sleeping with the steadily heating arguement. The little blonde groaned, rolling over onto her side and covering her head with her pillow. Still half-asleep, she had somehow forgotten she was in the hospital. The bickering sounded so familar, she could have sworn she was back at home listening to her sister and any of their friends yelling at each other.
"Shuddup," she groaned, her words completely unheard over the current conversation.

Hi tapped her foot, impatient as always. The pharmacist returned in five minutes as promised. He handed her back her card and Persephone's drugs. She took them, placing her card in her pocket and came back to find the nurses standing outside. She shooed them inside, "Come on! Move that girl into her bed!" The bustled around Kaito and Persephone. She waited.

With all the hustle and bustle going on outside, Jane knew she wouldn't be falling back asleep any time soon. Besides, she'd probably be good to go in a few hours anyway. She'd just need to get her head checked again before they'd let her go home where she'd ineveitably hurt herself again.
The little blonde sighed and sat up, her hair swirling around her face in wild gold waves. It stood on end, defying gravity as she swiveled her head around to look at her surrondings. She was in bed, completely cut off from the outside world by a thin curtain. Jane pushed it aside and peeked out into the room.
"Do ya mind keepin' it down? I've been tryin' to sleep," she mumbled. Kaito turned around to have her, his eyes the size of saucers. He remained silent, however, so Persephone didn't notice.

Hi heard Jane, and sprinted. She ran across the room in high heels, but she somehow made it look graceful, she raced like the wind, grabbing the curtain roughly and pulled it around Jane once more. She sighed and hoped that no one saw Jane, Hi poked her head out of the curtain and spoke to the two people on the other side, "Sorry, just one moment please."
She quickly turned to Jane and said under her breath so only Jane could hear, "Jane, sweetie, umm..." Hi though of a clever lie and spoke quickly but quietly, "Your roommate is very shy, doesn't like people much, except her companion of course, but I don't want to scare her you see... So just don't open this curtain. Kay?"
Hi sighed, hoping that she was as good of a liar as she thought. Then she thought a moment. Why was she getting involved anyway? It wasn't her problem, not in the slightest, but it was to late now. She was already six feet under, pushing daisies.

"But..." Jane frowned, biting her lip. She could've sworn she'd just seen Kaito a second ago... Well, it was probably her brain playing tricks on her again. But still, she just wanted to take a peek, just to be sure. "I thought..." the bloned trailed off with a scowl.

Hi fumbled with what she should say, "Umm... these people are um from out of town. Really their very shy." Hi took a deep breath and held it there, that sounded stupid but she hoped that Jane was still sleepy enough that she wouldn't see through her lie. Why was she doing this? God only knows. She was always trying to help people and getting into the business. Usually it ended badly.

"Eh, well..." Jane didn't really feel like arguing at this point. She was far too tired for that. "Okay. Will I be good to leave soon, though?"

Hi nodded, "Yes you can leave soon." She racketed her brain to remember the process of discharge from the hospital. She sighed then said, "I'll go get the paper work." She opened the curtain enough for her to get out and then she yanked it shut. She smiled at the couple on the other said and said, "I'll be right back." She rushed out of the room and almost ran all the way to her office, she hated paperwork.

Unfortunately, Jane's sense curiousity outweighed her sense of obediance. As soon as she was sure Hi was out of the room she tugged aside the curtain, poking her head out in order to get a good look at the others in the room. Sadly, she leaned too far forward and ended up tumbled out of the bed, landing in a mangled heap.
Persephone's head jerked up and see turned around, blinking in confusion. Kaito, however, had already gotten over his initial shock and was walking over to help the fallen blonde up. Jane blinked, trying to recover from the fall. When she could finally focus she looked up at the blue-haired Tora, mouth shaping into a suprised 'O'.
"What the...? Kaito? What are you...?" She looked over Kaito's shoulder, eyes wide. All the color had seemingly drained from her face. She only managed a meek whisper. "Oh my god..."
Persephone, although silent, probably would have said the same thing. A thousand thoughts went through her head, jumbled into long strings of nonsense. But above all was, Does she hate me for what I did?

Hi ran back in such a rush that some of the paperwork was flying out of her hands and falling on the floor, she honestly didn't care by this point. She opened the door with a wham and then saw the scene before her, the boy picking up Jane and Jane was staring at the girl. And all Hi could was think 'Oh my god' and slam the door shut again. She stood there a minute frozen in place, hand on the handle and stood frozen next to the door. She didn't know what to do so her just started walking away and thought, 'I'll come back in fifteen minutes to make sure they didn't kill each other'. Hi walked away in a daze.

((OOC: Sorry, darling, this is going to be long. I figured you’d want me to wrap it up XD)) Jane stumbled her way over to where Persephone was sitting, her legs shaking. All of her normal bravado had vanished, leaving behind a nervous, quaking shell. The blonde simply stood in front of her sister, eyes wide and hands clutched to her chest. Seconds filled with a vast, echoing silence crawled past while both girls struggled to find words. Persephone merely looked down at her lap. She had nothing to say- no explanation, no greetings. Now more than ever the feeling of unworthiness swelled up within her, leaving her a hollow, sick feeling and a bad taste in her mouth.
“You’re alive…” the blonde Ookami finally breathed, blinking rapidly as her eyes began to mist over. “You’re alive…” There was another pause which was broken by a loud, echoing smack. Jane drew back her hand, stinging from having struck her twin across the face. Persephone was frozen, surprise plain in her soft gold eyes. Her cheek was already red and prickled with a sharp tingling sensation.
“Jane…” Kaito murmured, starting towards the angry blonde. He stopped, however, when she continued talking.
“You were alive all this time and you didn’t say anything! You didn’t even tell me good-bye!” The feeling of betrayal was clear in the Ookami’s eyes. She bit her lips as more tears escaped, flowing freely down her pale cheeks. “Did I really mean that little to you? Did you hate me that much, that you couldn’t take me with you?” Unable to control herself any longer, the blonde threw herself into her sister’s lap. A single, shaking sob escaped her throat as she pressed her face against Persephone’s waist. “I thought you didn’t want me,” she choked. “I thought you were dead.”
The Tora went rigid, even more shocked than she had been after the slap. After a moment her expression softened and she wrapped her arms around the smaller twin, holding her close. She started to shake as well, her own share of tears pouring from her eyes. At last it was clear.
She had been a fool. Jane wasn’t better off without her, they belonged together. Leaving hadn’t been the magic solution to make their father a decent parent. Perhaps it had been the simple call of freedom that had lured her from home, but she had been wrong, so very wrong, to leave her sister, the one person she truly loved, behind.
“I’m so sorry Jane…” Persephone mumbled, pressing her face into Jane’s choppy blonde hair. She couldn’t say anything else. There were no words able to describe the number of things she needed to say. So instead the Tora stuck with the most basic statement there was. “I’m so sorry…”
A good while later Jane’s sobs had dissolved into meek sniffles. She pulled away from Persephone and dried her eyes, unaware that she’d left a decently sized wet spot on the elder twin’s shirt. The blonde swallowed and cracked a smile. Her gaze was happy, although a few tears still remained.
“Sorry I hit you Pers.” The Ookami’s voice was a strained hiccup. “I think I deserved that one,” her sister chuckled, “and probably a few more now that I think about it.” Jane giggled, her laughter fading away once she noticed Persephone’s inujured arm.
“What happened?” The blonde pointed to the bandages worriedly. “Your stupid sister got herself shot,” Kaito answered with a wry grin. Jane jumped up, as if aware of his presence for the first time.
“Kaito!” she cried, flinging herself forward to give the tall Tora a hug. “Oh yay, you’re here too!”
“Hmph, I get a slap and he gets a hug. I see how it is.” Persephone sighed, rolling her sore arm with a wince. “And where’s that doctor with my meds? I may have a high pain tolerance but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate a little morphine.”

Hi entered her office and had stared down at the paper work she was supposed to do for fifteen minutes. As soon as the words on the page looked jumbled because she had stared at the same spot for what seemed like forever, she got from her chair and took her patience's meds with her. Hi entered the room of the twin sisters, expecting a bloodbath and possibly needing to call security. But surprisingly she walked in on a happy reunion, she sighed in relief, "Here I have your morphine." She hooked Persephone up to the IVs, morphine, vitamins, and such. Then she smiled at both of them and handed Jane the release papers saying, "Here you go, just sign and give them to the fronbt desk when your ready." Then she looked at Persephone, "And don't worry, visiting hours are from 9am-7pm." Hi winked.

"Why thank you, Doctor!" Jane chirped, hopping to her face with a cheery smile. She took her papers, makimg a mental note to hunt down Van before she left for the day. "I think I'll leave you for the day. See ya first thing in the morning." The blonde winked teadingly. "Don't you run off now, ya hear?" Persephone chuckled, looking at her arm.
"Clearly, I'm not moving." The Tora sighed, shoulders slumping. "One last thing..." Jane paused, turning back to look at her sister. "Is Demetri here too?" The younger twin shook her head, turning her back to the room. "No... He died almost a year ago." There was a bitter smile at the mention of their brother. "Let's not talk about it now, okay? Sleep tight, and I'll see you tomorrow." And with that she was gone. Persephone slumped farther. There wasn't distress in her posture, rather a raw sirt of acceptance.
"Was probably all the liquor. I knew it'd do tge lousy get in one day." She gave Hi a smirk. "Alright, Doc, hit me up."

Hi smiled, although she didn't like how Persephone was making Hi sound like a drug dealer. Hi started up the medicine and moved Persephone's clothes to place the heart monitor on her chest. She spoke as she turned on the monitor, "The morphine will work in a minute or two, then this will monitor all night."
She then turned to the boy, "You have to go home, since her life isn't in danger you can't stay over night." Then she smiled, "But don't worry I'll be here tonight because I have..." She swallowed, "... I have paperwork to do." The thing she hated the most, paperwork. To many dotted lines, and nonsense about allergies and marriage. Ridiculous! She sighed. She hated paperwork.
