"Yeah." Agreed the Ookami when he finally calmed down. "But I think I enjoyed your little screw ups much more than the rigs this place has." he grinned, wanting to see how she'd react. It was also fun trying to bother someone.

"Good to know you find my pain amusing." Persephone rolled her eyes, although it was hard to make out in the dark. This was starting to remind her a bit too much of hanging out with "the gang" back home. James and Kaito had both been especially cruel to her (though she'd always kind of deserved it).

"Of course!" Minori grinned. "I haven't gotten to pick on anyone else besides my baby cousin, it's nice to have a change." he laughed. Of course, Hotaru was only one month younger than him(as she pointed it out to him almost every time they saw each other), but he liked to call her his baby cousin, it made him feel more superior to her.

"Ah, the feeling of finding a new person to victimize." Persephone sighed with saracastic pleasure. "There's nothing in the world like it." The Tora dusted her hands off on her already-dirty jeans, still gazing wearily at the floor. "So what about this cousin of yours makes her so much fun to tease?" Innocence, short temper, narcisism... the list could be endless. Persephone wasn't too interested, just trying to shift the focus off of her fantastic fall.

Minori shrugged. "She's just annoying." he said simply. "That and it helps that she's got one of the worst tempers known to human kind." Okay, an exaggeration, but she did get really bad pretty easily(he was willing to bet that was a trait she got from her father, the bastard).

"I'm familar with bad tempers," Persephone mused with a dark chuckle. Her father certainly hadn't been the most paitent of men. His buttons had been very easy to push. Now that she thought about it, Demetri and Nana both had pretty bad tempers too. Maybe all the fighting had been a result of surronding herself with short fuses...
"Sounds like your cousin is suffering from something I like to call angst," the Tora chimed thoughtlessly. "You better keep an eye on her or she may do something stupid." Like stealing and crapload of cash and running away from home, for example.

The redhead rolled his eyes. "Please, she's already done plenty of stupid stuff, part of the reason why she pisses me off so much." he sighed. Ran away, joined a gain, murder. Yeah, she had done more than just 'stupid stuff', he didn't see why Matsuda forgave her for everything.

"Oh," Persephone replied. Well that made sense. Maybe that was why Demetri had seemed to hate her so much too, though he stilled seemed a bit harsh. She hadn't killed anyone or anything (though she'd almost mowed over three pedestrians when she'd first learned to drive, but that didn't count). Maybe robbing a store was something to be frowned upon, but where else were they going to get money to settle Dad's gambling debts?
"Well we've all done stupid things. Not like I'm one to judge, since I don't know you or your cousin. I'm just saying." She shrugged and turned to continue through the Funhouse.

"Whatever." the Ookami shrugged, following Persephone through the fun house. He didn't feel like talking about it, and Pers didn't seem too interested either, so that was good.

After a few moments the music turned on. Persephone groaned. She'd purposefully made sure to cut all the wires running the audio in this place. The creepy circus music freaked her out. Wherever this music was, a clown was sure to follow. And she really, really didn't like clowns.
"I swear I cut off whatever electricy ran in this place!" she cried in frustration. The Tora shook her fist at the sky. "Curse you demon lord!"

Minori stared at Pers for a moment like she had some sort of disease. "Demon Lord? Seriously?" he asked her. "Exactly what sort of nut job are you again?"

"Heh." Whoops. Persephone had forgotten she was no longer in a place where everyone knew about the Touzoko girl's bad-luck-inducing "Demon Lord." Minori probably thought she was crazy now, or crazier than he had already thought in the first place.
"My sister came up with the "Demon Lord" to explain why I have such rotten luck. It's just a nicer way of saying God hates me." The Tora sighed melodramatically.

"Ah." Minori said, nodding his head a little. "And here I was worried for a moment, I don't wanna catch whatever insanity's caught up in that brain of yours."

"Who's to say I'm not insane?" Persephone laughed. "My idea of fun is throwing pop cans and sneaking around an abandoned funhouse." She squinted, looking up at the dust-encaved roof. "Then again, maybe I'm not crazy. Maybe I'm just bored."

"I'm pretty sure it's a combination of both." Minori grinned. "But that's just one man's opinion, others could think differently." he paused. "'Could' being the keyword." he added with another grin.
