Hi no Hana had a busy day, and she was sure it was only going to get worse. She had been filling out paper work all day and the only interesting thing that happened for her was buying lunch in the cafeteria. She had just gotten to the hospital and was hired. They were very low on staff, it seemed and there were more nurses then doctors now a days. She sighed and twirled a finger through her black straight hair. If only she could get a patient or SOMETHING. Really, she was going to pull her perfectly nice hair out.

Jane was practically tripping over herself as she entered the hospital. Her delicate sandaled feet got caught and tangled up in her long white skirt which sent her stumbling through the automatic doors and into the building. The blonde's head darted up and she looked around, pushing some of her golden locks away from her face as she tried to steady herself.
Van trailed in after her, his fluffy black tail wagging with concern. Jane disregarded him completely and kept walking, only to trip and end up crashing into one of the tables in the waiting room. A bright red blossom erupted on her pale forehead. She'd managed to brillantly cut herself on the corner of the table. Just another injury to add onto her current ones.

It rather amazed Hi that when she wished hard, that some things did come true! And it was rather amazing that this girl came into the hospital tripping and ended up bleeding in the waiting room. Talk about a klutz or what? As Hi thanked the sky for a patient, she approached the girl. She took out a handkerchief from her pocket and offered her hand, since she was still on the ground. "What can I do for you today miss?" She asked, her icy blue eyes full of genuine concern.

Jane blinked slowly. Why was the room spinning? And when had those lights gotten so freaking bright? She let out a tiny groan and took the dark-haired woman's hand, somehow managing to get to her feet. The Ookami winced and lifted up the hem of her skirt, revealing a poorly bandaged ankel.
"Well I had originally come in for this, but I suppose my head has made the list too." She giggled dizzily.

Hi nodded and took the girl by the hand and wrapped an arm around shoulders since she was swaying so much. She said calmly, "I'm taking you to my medical examine room." She quickly walked the girl over to her room, it wasn't very far and she turned on the lights. They were softer then the harsh ones in the lobby and were probably easier on the eyes of the poor girl. There was a padded table in the middle of the room and Hi guided the girl over to it and sat her down. She examined her ankle and poked and prodded it, "Tell me when it hurts, and how much it hurts." She began gently squeezing the ankle, then a thought came it her, "Oh, you should probably tell me your name." She handed the girl the handkerchief for the blood on her head and continued to press on her ankle.

The Ookami hobbled along as she was lead into the examining room. Her vision focused once the lights dimmed down and, thank God, the room was perfectly motionless. When asked her name, she gave a hasty reply.
"Jane Touzoko." Her voice jumped up a whole octave towards the end. She winced. "Yep, I think it hurts now." The blonde's voice was tight and her body rigid. God, what had she done to herself?

Hi smiled and stopped squeezing Jane's ankle, "Well your ankle will be fine, Jane. You tore the ligament pretty badly. But it's not broken, so you'll on your feet as long as you rest or... use crutches." She grabbed a ankle brace from a cabinet in the table. She unwrapped the gauze on the ankle already and wrapped it again, more tightly then before. She put the ankle brace on and then said, "But your head..." As she searched for items on the shelves, grabbing a small flash light, a band-aid and disinfectant. She cleaned the head wound and added a band-aid to it. She finished her sentence, "Your head is a different story," She flashed the light into them and then her eyes dilated, but not correctly. "Yes you have a small concussion, as long as you have a ice pack on it and lay down, you'll be up in an hour or so. But you can't fall asleep okay?" She said as she went to the closet to get an ice pack.

"Okie-dokie," Jane chirped. Over her long and extensive history with medical professionals, she'd learned it was best to just do what they said without complaining. "You look pretty young to be a doctor," the blonde suddenly commented, her eyes studying the dark-haired woman inquisitively. "You must've flown through med school." A goofy chuckle followed.

Hi looked at Jane, only hesitating for a second on her task. The then quickly pulled an ice pack out of the mini freezer and handed it to the girl. She said in a quiet voice, "Not exactly medical school." She sighed, and went over to a filer in the corner, she looked for Jane's folder and pulled it out. She looked over the information and went over the desk and grabbed paper and a pen, scribbling quickly with detail. "Up dating your information on these injuries." Then she turned to look at Jane, "I didn't exactly go to medical school, my parents were doctors so I kind of grew up as one." She took a breath, she didn't really talk about this but Jane asked so she had a right to know, in a way. "They passed away when I was sixteen and that's when I really took up being a doctor. I worked for my clan until a couple of weeks ago when the hospital contacted me, I had to come here... and help." She spun in her chair and smiled, "That's my story, so how did you end up here Jane?" She asked kindly.

"I'm stalking my twin," Jane replied with a smile. "She ran away awhile ago, fiesty thing." The blonde moved a strand of golden hair out of her facing thoughtfully. "I had been living with her ex-boyfriend and his sister, actually, along with my big brother. They died in a car accident a little while ago. Everyone except for me and Van." She frowned for a moment. "Where is that dog anyway? I could've sworn he was with me when I came in..." The Ookami shrugged. "Oh well, wouldn't be the first time he ran off. He's so ashamed of me." Jane laughed, as Van were an actual person and not a cynical newfoundland puppy.

Hi smiled, but as it seemed on cue, there was scratching at the door. Hi opened it and the dog walked in looking at his master with quizzical eyes. As if the dog knew that they were talking about him. Hi smiled, "Intelligent he is." And then she said, "I'm sorry about your family, so there is no next of kin?" She asked in case she needed a contact for the young woman if she were to show up unconscious at some point. You know, just in case.

"Unless you manage to find my twin sister in the next couple of seconds... no." The blonde smiled at her furry friend, who sat paitently a foot away, wagging his tail and giving her a skeptical stare. You really are an idiot, his eyes seemed to say. "Well I tend to count Van as my closest "kin," but most professionals don't take it very seriously." Jane smirked. "Look at you," she cooed at the over-sized puppy, "glaring at me like that. Who are you, my mother?" Van sneezed and the Ookami laughed.
"That means he thinks I'm being stupid," she explained with a chuckle.

Hi smiled, "Well he really is intelligent." She laughed and pulled out Jane's file again and wrote under the 'Next of Kin' Van- Dog She smiled to herself and put the file back where she found it. She looked at her watch, without knowing it the hour that Jane had to wait for was almost up. She turned to Jane again and said, "Your hour is almost up, the reason I wouldn't want you to sleep is because with concussions are tricky. You could go into a coma but if you wait an hour, it's pretty safe for you to sleep. So, your going to stay the night here where I'm going to watch you, and check on you." She asked again, "Do you have a doctor? Or I mean, a primary physician?"

Jane had to think for a moment. Did she? It seemed as though the Ookami had somehow neglected to get herself a proper doctor, suprising considering her... clumsiness.
"Er... no," the blonde replied quickly. "I don't believe so."

"Well then," smiled Hi, "That makes things easier. I'll just help you to your new room for the night." She grabbed a pair of crutches from the closet, and handed them to Jane. She said, "I'll walk you down to your room and then well get some of your history straight in your file." She smiled and went to open the door for her.
