Madoka jumped up the moment she felt water fall on her forehead. She ran around in circles, arms in the air. "I love the rain!" she exclaimed like a child. As the drops continued to pour down, she smiled at her companion. "Honestly, I prefer dark and rainy days over the sunny ones." inside, she shuddered. There was a reason for that, too. It was a perfect sunny day the day that...
She shook her head quickly. She wasn't going to show that kind of emotion in front of Yukiko. Instead, she giggled cheerfully and convincingly(she had learned how to do this over past years), continuing to dance in the rain.

Yukiko stood, watching as her... friend run around in circles beneath the rain. She couldn't help but smile, but the grin faltered as she noticed Madoka's slight hesitation. She tilted her head to side in curiousity for a moment, ignoring the increasing rain that pounded on her head.
She too liked the rain, more than sunny days. The world was just quieter... simplier. All in all a seemingly better (and far less busy) place.
"We're going to get soaked!" She cried over the drum of raindrops. And then she laughed. "But maybe that's a good thing!"

Madoka laughed loudly in response to her friend's comment. "Come on! Dance with me, Yukiko! It's sooo fun!!" As if to show an example, Madoka did a series of twirls and spins, being careful not to fall again. She began to jump up and down, soon beginning to feel cold from the rain. Her teeth were chattering, but she still laughed. This day was so fun so far, she didn't want to waste any moment.

Yukiko hesistated. She didn't act goofy often, but Madoka seemed to be enjoying herself quite a bit... Yukiko spun in a small circle, allowing one hand to remain raised above her head. Cold raindrops trailed down her arms, and dripped of the tips of her long hair and bangs.
She then paused, noticing her friend's shivering. Madoka seemed to be doing a good job of cover her cold, but the shaking was still apparent.
"Why don't we go back to Headquaters?" Yukiko chimed. "Before we freeze that is."

Madoka sighed. Yukiko was right, it was getting pretty cold. And who said that she couldn't still have fun? Rubbing her hands up and down her arms, she nodded slightly.
"Alright," she said, pouting almost.

Yukiko immediatly noticed Madoka's semi-pout, and her own smile faltered for a moment. Was she being rude or something?
"If we scourge the kitchen I could make hot chocolate." She offered with a tempting gleam in her green eyes.

Hearing this made Madoka smile again, but just realized the tone she had just made.
"Yeah! That'd be great! I- I'm sorry for what I just said." she muttered, ashamed and embarassed of her attitude. "I tend to act like a dumb child at times. I don't do it on purpose! Honest!" she then insisted.

Yukkio offered a reassuring smile. "I think everyone does." She chirped. "But if that's what it takes to have fun, I think I you should stick with it." She laughed lightly. "Now let's go. Hot chocolate is a-waiting!" She pumped her fist into the air ethusiastically.

Madoka's smile grew, glad that her new friend wasn't upset or offended. She soon threw her own fist up, shouting at the top of her lungs almost, "Alright!!"

"Alrighty then, let's go!" Yukiko chirped, turning on her heel to leave. And, as an afterthought, she flipped her hood up, momentarily keeping her head out of the rain. She then proceeded to stride off the field, pausing to make sure Madoka was coming with. A smile twisted her lips. She was bubbling with small happiness. At last, she had a friend.
