Flashback
Hesitantly, Leon walked into the room, accompanied by two steely-faced men. Inside was a someone, sitting on the desk with the back of the chair facing Leon. Hearing someone's entry, the figure turned to Leon, and glared at him with intense coldness, causing Leon to look down.
"Leon Fenix, your probation ends today." the person spoke, placing down a stack of paper onto the table. Leon's heart leaped in joy, but he continued avoiding that person eyes, as he dared not to look back.
"Hmmph, I was hoping to keep you around longer because of the rules you broke," the person continued, grunting. "But looks like your luck interferes with it," the figure continued, clearly displeased with the
"Oh well," the person sighed, turning the chair back again. "Get out of my sight, before I change my mind,"
"T-thank you," Leon stammered, before stumbling out of the room.
End of flashback
The playground is deserted. It would be devoid of life, if it wasn't for an Ookami sitting on a swing, with a green ice pop sticking out from his mouth. Even though he is alone, he seemed to be happy, judging from the smile on his face, looking up at the heavens. It had been a while since that Ookami saw the blue sky, and he surely didn't want to miss it this time.

Golden eyes met clear blue sky as Persephone wandered about the quiet schoolyard, her eyes almost constantly trained on the sky. She couldn't remember seeing such a pristine, cloudless blue... at least not in a long while. Not since that day, months ago, when she had finally decided to set herself free of her family. Persephone frowned slightly and kicked around a few pebbels, still under the impression that she was completely alone.
After a moment the Tora returned her gaze to earth, swinging her honey-glazed irises around the abandoned playground. It was then she noticed she was not the only sign of life here, for there was another- a boy sitting alone on the swings. Persephone halted, watching him for a moment while she processed what to do. It almost seemed obnoxious to burst in and disturb his peace, although she would certainly have a harder time thinking knowing someone else was nearby.
A few seconds later Persephone had managed to meander her way over to the swings. She flopped down nearby, arms cradling her mop of messy black hair.
"It's really blue." She stated, loud enough for the other person to hear. The Tora didn't say much else, she just kept on looking up at the sky.

"Mmm!" Leon nodded, still oblivious to the presence of another person in vicinity. He swung his legs back and forth, still looking at the blue sky with a blissful expression on his face. He took another bite from the ice pop. It was a peaceful evening, hanging around without any worries, alone , peaceful...
..wait, if he was alone, then who said that?
"Eeeeeh!?"
Leon looked to his left, and saw no one around. He gulped.
"Is it... a g-ghost?" Leon stammered, cold sweat forming on his forehead.

Persephone fought back the urge to laugh. The whole point of her comment was to NOT scare the kid. Well, wasn't this ironic? After supressing her would-be giggles, the Tora sat upright, turning towards the boy on the swing.
"Boo." She stated with a toothy smile, hoping he would realize she was only joking around.

"Eeeek!"
Surprised, Leon jumped and fell from his swing behind first, and quickly retreated a small distance away from the swings while on the ground. He shielded himself with his arms, and looked down on the grassy playground, not daring to take a look at the source of the scare.
"Don't eat me!" Leon whimpered, still not realizing that it was a person instead of ghost.

"I'm not going to eat you." Persephone reassured the kid, holding up her hands with fingers splayed as if offering some sort of surrender. "I have no interest whatsoever in cannibalism." She felt a still twinge of guilt for scaring the boy so badly but, to be honest, Persephone still found it quite funny.

"You won't?"
Leon peeked from the opening of his arm, glancing at the source of the voice. It was... a person instead of some scary-looking stringy-haired ghost, like one in the movies. The girl held up her hand, as if assuring that there's no harm to be done.
After conforming that the person, Leon lowered his arm. Sitting on the ground, he took a good look at that person's face, before letting out a huge sigh of relief.
"Thank goodness. For a second there I thought your a spirit or something," Leon siighed, before grinning at his own foolishness.

"Believe it or not, I actually get that quite a bit." Well, in actuality it was her lovely twin Jane who was often mistaken for something otherworldly. It probably had something to do with the fact she liked to spend her nights playing violin and dancing like a lunatic in local cemetaries.
"Sorry for scaring you, by the way." Persephone added, still bearing her ever-present Chesire grin. "The whole point of my statement was so as to not startle anyone."
