Jeremiah sat near the Momentum Tower, scribbling a few things on a notepad. This massive collector of Enerdy was his (as well as Kage's and Joshua's) ticket to enacting the Grand Scheme, and the boyish Ookami meant to get whatever information he could from the power source. He hadn't told his friends about this element yet, for its role in the plan was still vague.
"Let's just hope it doesn't 'splode like the one in New Domino did..." mused Jeremiah, chewing on the end of his pen absentmidedly.

Akio walked past the tower. His mind seemed adrift somewhere else. He had gone from the light to the darkness, and on his way back to the light he became lost. The only thing in his mind now was his goal. It was the only thing that mattered. "I'll let destiny use me as a soldier or a rag doll," he whispered to himself while looking in the sky, "I don't care, just to let my people taste freedom." His eyes darted towards a man sitting by the tower. He stared, but didn't speak.

Satoru wasn't entirely sure why he was climbing the tower, it wasn't in his territory anymore, and it was far too tall for him to scale (even WITH stairs) without his limp becoming even more prominent than usual. There was nothing really special about the place either. The Tora sighed as he neared the top, hoping that perhaps the view would prove him wrong like Mina had said.
Instead of seeing the door filled with the light of the setting sun, he saw a man with a green bracelet taking notes on the generator. Satoru sighed and leaned against the wall. Dealing with people at this point wasn't high on his list of priorities after dealing with the Puppet Master. He still had his guns on him though, in case this person turned out to be a psycho in disguise.

Out of the corner of his eye, Jeremiah spotted a moving figure. He turned to look at them, only to find another one in the fleeting recesses of his vision. While one part of him wanted to know exactly what both people were doing here, the other part was focused on the Grand Scheme.
"This city can't be united if one of its saviors keeps slacking off like this..." said the Ookami to himself as a mental wake-up slap. He was almost sure that being here was some sort of illegal, so taking the notes right now was important.

A small beep appeared on Akio's ear piece. The group he was in had been unactive for a long time, but it was all for a purpose. Now, each one of the members was stronger than ever. The voice was Tsu're. It was almost an eerie calm, "Akio, whenever you're ready, we can begin the interrogation." Akio just paused for a few seconds.
"Let him go Tsu're, he's wired." Tsu're let out a small breathe before ending the transmission. Akio sighed. If it wasn't obvious to Tsu're then Tsu're was slacking off. Not one moment can be wasted. Akio restarted the transmission, "If you have to kill him do it silently. I don't want the government knowing about me yet, alright?" It was a whisper, but if someone was listening closely they'd hear it.

Oh great, ANOTHER psycho. Satoru pinched the bridge of his nose in an attempt to ward off a headache. He turned to face the other person, hand darting into his jacket to grab his handgun. "Alright," He growled, senses going into red-alert. "Who the hell are you." This one he could see more clearly, after all, he wasn't standing in the doorway and thus covered by the rays of the sun. He was a Kuma, blond, in his late teens or early twenties. At least he had a vague idea of what he could be up against though.

Jeremiah couldn't resist turning to face the voice now. It was a Tora, like Kage, but he looked older (albeit smaller, but that's what you got when your best friend was a giant). His dark brown hair reminded the Ookami a lot of his own messy locks. He pulled the ski cap he wore down over his ears to cover more of the unruly strands and stood up, holding up the notebook in one hand and the pen in another.
"I, uh... come in peace?" responded Jeremiah to the groul. There was a nervous laugh, and then the Kuma man was noticed. The Tora looked like he meant business, but the blonde in the doorway meant it in a bizarre way, it seemed. Jeremiah felt outclassed, both in size and (probably) weapons.

"You probably want to put that gun down," Akio said, taking off his hat, "you have no idea what you're dealing with." Akio stared into the hat. There wasn't anything in it, but the Tora didn't know that. Akio had bluffed people many times with the gun-in-the-hat routine. If worse came to worse Akio always kept a pocket knife on his ankle. Not for use, for intimidation.
His eyes glanced back towards the Ookami boy. Akio had at one time befriended many Ookami, but that was before he gave everything up for his dream. The only thing he had left was a life, and he feared that he wouldn't be holding on to that much longer. He noticed the Ookami was unarmed. "Ookami guy, come over here." He owed something to the ookami clan, and protecting this man's life would hopefully end that debt. Akio's hand was still in his hat. He had the next fifteen seconds planned out, but for some reason he couldn't think farther than that.

Satoru bristled. He was a bit on the small side, but that didn't make him look like a teenager! "You know, I'm probably double your age, brat." He removed his gun from his jacket, the second one followed soon after when the Ookami was beckoned to the Kuma. "And I have no intention of dropping my weapons." This one came with a smirk.
The hat didn't have enough weight to it (even at a glance) to carry any sort of effective ranged weapon. The most he could have would be a knife or a taser, and even then the Kuma wouldn't have a chance to use it before Satoru got a shot in. It wouldn't be fatal (he never killed without reason), but it would probably be crippling. He wasn't an expert gunslinger for nothing after all.

Jeremiah looked at the exchange going on and shrugged. He took a position that was an equal distance from both men and sighed heavily.
"Look, I'm not taking a side, here," he explained. "You're gonna try and protect me, Kuma, and that's all cool, but I'm just trying to overthrow the government, so..." Probably not the best thing to say in this situation, but it would likely be taken as a joke, like usual.

Akio ignored the ookami member. Right now Akio's attention was focused on the Tora. He smiled and tossed the cap into the sky, then just slowly walked to the left. As the cap moved, the wind began to push it towards the Tora member, slowly blocking out his sight. It would allow Akio to get away. He didn't want to leave, but any more unwanted attention in this spot would certainly cause government intervention. That was something Akio wanted to avoid. So he'd have to be the bigger person and step out of the fight.

Satoru's reaction was quick, two bullets going clean through the hat and lodging themselves in the metal paneling behind while a third clipped it and sent it spinning out of his way. Was Satoru paranoid? A little. But who wouldn't be in this sort of situation? With bullet holes in the hat it drooped to the ground, harmless and more than a little worse for wear. If the Tora's guess was right, they were too far away from the guard station to cause any alarm. The Kuma wouldn't be going anywhere for a little while.
"So," Satoru smirked. "Mind telling me who exactly ya gotta kill quietly?" He was almost positive he had the upper hand, unless the Ookami joined into the stand-off that was. Who knew what the skinny man had up his sleeve.

Jeremiah, seeing that he was being utterly ignored, went back to his notes. He had already landmarked the guard stations, and wa currently trying to figure just how much extra output they woulud need for the Grand Scheme to work. The boyish Ookami licked over his lips and wished again that he had remembered to bring a Mountain Dew with him. He held up his left arm and shook it, causing a pack of gum to fall out of his jacket's sleeve.
"Much better," sighed Jeremiah as he chewed happily on the spearmint square.

"You, for all I care. Watch the enemies you make." Akio smiled while looking towards Satoru. Though his expression was innocent, the meaning was clear. Satoru's life was in his hands, and even after death he could have Satoru killed. "You'd be surprised what you could do with a few dreamers." Akio's hand slowly went towards his pocket. He pressed a button and spoke. "Tsu're, if I'm not there in 45 minutes please go with the others towards the Momentum Tower in the Ookami Sector. Bring weapons. Thanks." Akio clicked it out.
"Oh don't worry, it's just an empty threat." Akio said to Satoru, still having that fox like smile on his face.

Satoru's eye twitched at the threat of armed men. It wasn't that he couldn't take them down or escape before they got there, but the idea of having that many enemies wasn't exactly what he wanted when he came to Hatsu Itonami. After all, if he didn't duel he wasn't bothered by people and was left to work his business. A league of angry villagers was not conducive to a productive business, especially when the guns he supplied were pointed at himself.
"Fine." He sighed, putting his guns away. "It's not worth it anyway." He was dejected at the idea of not being able to use is guns. Vera and Balthazar were getting antsy and he'd rather that they didn't make his finger want to slip, but if he randomly fired off rounds they were going to hit someone or something, more than likely a mostly innocent someone or something...
The dark-haired Tora looked at the Ookami. "What did you say about the government?" He asked, mood taking a complete 180 from mere moments earlier.
