Any rational person- Yukiko supposed- would not want to be striding about the Soul Release Cemetery near midnight... or past midnight. The carefree teen had no idea what the current time was. All she knew is it was late, too late for a normal mourner to be milling about the various tombstones. But Yukiko wasn't there to cry over a dead person. Rather, she was using the graveyard in a slightly more creative way- gravestone rubbing.
Yukiko had never really tried this sort of thing before... but she really had nothing better to be doing at the given moment. And besides, she was rather enjoying the dark and eerie atmosphere. Plus, there was always an oppurtunity to use the little rhymes on the gravestone for song inspirtation, like that one girl from 'Beautiful City of the Dead'.
The cheery teen hummed along as she examined the tombstones; the slow tune to an eerie lullaby in her head gradually growing louder and louder until she finally started singing the words.
"Come Little Children, I'll Take Thee Away Into A Land Of Enchantment Come Little Children The Time's Come To Play Here In My Garden Of Shadows
Follow Sweet Children, I'll Show Thee The Way Through All The Pain And The Sorrows Weep Not Poor Children For Life Is This Way Murdering Beauty And Passions
Hush Now Dear Children, It Must Be This Way To Weary Of Life And Deceptions Rest Now My Children For Soon We'll Away into The Calm And The Quiet
Come Little Children I'll Take Thee Away Into A Land Of Enchantment Come Little Children The Time's Come To Play Here In My Garden Of Shadows"
Despite the song being over, Yukiko kept on humming the tune, never once bothering to wonder if she was actually alone in the graveyard.

"Funny singing in a grave yard is normally strange.Especially at night" he mused looking down at the girl
"Up here.Normally people come in the daytime,it's apparently to scary at night. Unfortunately I don't agree" he said jumping down fromu the branch "Name? If you don't mind me asking miss"

Yukiko had jumped a little at the sound of another voice (or as much jumping one could do when on their knees), hopping to her feet turning around to face the speaker all within a few measly seconds.
"Y-yukiko." She stuttered before laughing nervously. "Sorry, you kinda scared me." The teen rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly and then continued. "And you are...?"

"Noctis.Noctis Agito.Well Yukiko-san I came here to pay my respects no my late grandfather" he said walking overhand stepping out of the shaddow of the tree
"I've given you my reason so why are you here Yukiko-san?I only come at night because its quiet"

"Well I can assure you that I know no one who has died." Yukiko stated, quickly combing her slender fingers through her long brown bangs. "I'm a night-owl. I rise with the moon." She gave a witty smile, and then held up her various grave rubbings.
"That and tombstones offer great inspiration. They say the strangest things sometimes..."

"And what would you think was the strangest thing you have found Yukiko san?" he asked out of curiosity and his general nosiness

Yukiko thought for a moment before answering.
"Well I really liked this one... "Remember youth as you go by, As you are now so once was I, As I am now you shall be..... Prepare for death and follow me." She grinned. "This was on one of the really old ones, so I couldn't actually get a rubbing. But I did write it down."

"Very wise" he chuckled a little "I like that one too" he said looking around "Excuse me one second" he apologized his eyes focused on one massive grave.

Yukiko remained silent, her eyes following Noctis's to the gravestone he was gazing at. Quietly she wondered if he was visting someone. It was likely, not everyone came to the cemetary for fun like she did.
Her green eyes flickered up towards the older boy's expressionless face, still wondering what it was he was thinking.

"There's a good one" he said pointing at the grave "Thinking of you, wherever you are. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend. Now I will step forward to realize this wish. There are many worlds, but they share the same sky — one sky, one destiny." he recited

"Wow," Yukiko commented, green eyes wide but also soft with emotion. "That's beautiful." She looked up at Notcis and then back towards the tombstone, her face filled with a strange mix of emotions. "Funny, isn't it? That we find the most beautiful words only in times of great suffering..." She trailed off, not really knowing what to add to that sentence. It sounded a little dark, now that she thought about it. Then again, Yukiko always had a sort of gothic personality, so those thoughts weren't really new.

"Yes.That's my sister's parents grave, looks like she hasn't been in a while. She wrote that aged 5" he smiled "She was really ... strong being an appropriate word for it"

"Wow..." Yukiko murmured, her cat-like green eyes still focused firmly on the gravestone. "I don't think I'd ever be that strong... not at five anyway." She thought for a moment. Noctis had said they were his sister's parents but not his.
"So... your sister, is she adopted then?"

"Huh," Yukiko replied, giving a thoughtful pout. "I guess I wouldn't really know the whole about the whole 'family bond' thing. I didn't have many friends when I was younger and I don't really care for those I'm of blood-relation to." She used one gloved hand to flip some hair off her shoulder, although her eyes were focused elsewhere. "Well, except for my dad. But I haven't seen him in... awhile."
