The sky was a burst of strange colors, layers of purplish-red spread over a swirling black-and-grey canvas. Yukiko looked up, a rough, warm wind toying with her hair as she watched the thunderheads roll in with noticeable speed. She could see the front of the clouds, the rough puffs shooting high up into the sky- higher than she could possibly hope to see. It hadn't rained quite yet, but judging by the low rumble of thunder it was clear it would soon.
Yukiko was quietly watched the lightning light up the clouds from the inside, igniting their colors like a giant night light, only to fade within the next couple seconds. Occasionally she would grab the camera dangling around her neck, lifting the lens and snapping a quick picture.
Suddenly a huge gust of wind blasted the wanna-be photographer head-on, sending her falling backwards. Yukiko landed roughly on her butt with a loud 'Oof!', shaking her head in order to process what had just happened. The teen rubbed her sore backside as she stood, undaunted by the worsening conditions.
But as soon as she got to her feet, Yukiko has knocked over by a considerably greater force, this one being a rogue beach umbrella. The flying object, carried by the wind, knocking the girl clean off her feet, resulting in a face-full of sand. Yukiko growled something to herself and looked up, glaring at the sky.
"So that's how it is , huh? Well I'm not leaving! Bring it on sky!" She cried, shaking an angry fist at the clouds.
