Hotaru took a deep breath as she walked into the arena. She was a little sheepish about doing this, but it had been years since she had gotten the chance to do this and her house was too small for her to practice any at home.
Hotaru may have told her friends that she didn't have any talents, but when she was little, she had been able to take a few ballet classes. A few was all she needed, people started coming in just to see her perform all the time, but she was too shy to perform right in front of crowds, somehow though, it was still satisfying to the ones watching. When her father started getting violent she quit dancing. Now, years later, she was finally going to do it again! She was excited, but nervous at the same time.
She left her long cloak by the side of the stage, showing what she was currently wearing. A long black t-shirt with matching tights and slippers were her current choice of clothing, as she went to play a certain song she remebered listening to a lot when she was little.
The song was called Voice of Truth by Casting Crowns, and was one of her favorites. She remembered listening to it when she was down, it always seemed to give her that little boost she needed to keep on going with life. The redhead smiled as she thought of this while putting her long hair up in a pony tail.
As the song began, she stood in the middle of the stage, getting ready to dance for the first time in years. Her movements were soft and graceful, just like they had been when she was younger. She smiled to herself, getting lost in her movements and words of the song.

"But the Voice of truth tells me a different story
the Voice of truth says do not be afraid
and the Voice of truth says this is for My glory
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of truth..."
