Jack deactivated the duel disk and watched the fire creep up the stand with a dopey sort of grin. "Sure thing." With that he hurried off after Cross, soon something occurred to him. "What about Rafferty and Paxton?" He asked. While it hasn't been too long that the pair of horses had been left alone, there was a fire going now. And worse than that, there were little kids to bug them! Who knew what would happen to the two horses.

Cross chewed on her lip. "How about we go, jump up on the horses and high tail it to the bushes to watch?" She asked.

Jack nodded and high-tailed it over to the horses, hopping onto the back of (he thought) Rafferty as quickly as possible after shooing away a crowd of small girls with sugar cubes. The horse gave a neigh and bounded into the bushes, leaving a confused crowd behind them.

Cross did the same as Jack but managed to knock down a few people with Paxton... Ouch. She winced as a few people fell but made it into the bushes behind Jackie. She hoped off the horse and held onto the reins as she sat down on her knees to watch the events unfold.
"Jack! Look!" She said pointing. The announcers were looking around and sniffing the air. Then they realized they were on fire and started to panic. She chuckled watching.

The Ookami laughed as the two announcers ran around in circles, waving their arms wildly. "It's like watching a cartoon." He observed, watching them slam into each other and fall to the floor, only to dive out of the stand and onto the bleachers a moment later.
"I wonder when the supports'll give out." He wondered, watching the broadcasting equipment short circuit with a colorful light show.
