Cross had been walking around the Tora sector one afternoon when she came across the Allure. Since it was mid-day there weren't many people in it. With a shrug she went in and sat at the bar, ordering a Coke. She swiveled around in her chair sipping on the Coke and watched the few people dance in the dark club. She wasn't much of a party person but the place did have its charm. As a song came on, she recognized it and started singing along a little loud.
"Spinning around in circles..." She sang smiling. Her foot was tapping against the chair in an impatient manner although she was waiting on nothing.
The door of the Allure opened but Cross paid them no mind, she was enjoying the music and her soda.

Hotaru really didn't want to got to the Allure, but she had to get familiar with her territories, and thus forced herself to go. She walked in, trying to ignore the people around her. Dang, the music was loud! She tried ignoring this also as she made her way to the bar to sit down.
She looked around, trying to see if she knew anyone in there. Sadly, she couldn't really see all the people's faces and sighed. She turned her attention to a girl sitting beside her. She was tapping her foot and looked as if she was singing along with the music that was currently playing.
"So, you like this song?" she asked, hoping to get a conversation out of it.

Cross didn't say or do anything when she noticed the girl in the cape come and sit at the bar beside her, she just rested her back against the bar, looking out at the dance floor. Then when the girl asked about the song she smiled and nodded, singing the last bit of the song. "Love it!" She exclaimed grinning and spinning towards the girl. "Circles is the song, it's pretty much a great song any time, especially when everyone's lives tend to go in that direction or shape." She grinned and took another sip of her drink. Her foot kept tapping with the annoying beat of impatience.

Hotaru nodded her head, soon beginning to feel the beat of the music playing in herself. "That's true." she agreed to the girl's words.
"So is there a reason why you decided to come here?" she asked the girl, curiously.

Cross shrugged again. "It's something different is it not?" She grinned as the song picked up to something more upbeat and oddly funny... Tick Tock...
With a laugh she started singing along nodding her head to the side, swaying in her seat to the music. Everyonce in a while she would take a drink.
"So how come you came in here this fine afternoon?" She asked grinning during the instrumental part of the song.

Hotaru also shrugged. "Just getting familiar with my territory." she replied. She looked at the girl's wrist and saw the purple bracklet, a Kuma. Wow, Hotaru wasn't finding many Tora lately, was she?
She listened to the beat of the music, not knowing what song it was. It seemed pretty catchy though, as she continued moving her head slightly to the beat of the music, not sure what to bring up for conversation next.

Cross continued moving to the music in her swivle chair. "Tora I presume?" She asked not bothering to look over. "How long you been in?" She asked. Cross didn't mind talking with other clan members, she had no opinion on any of them. She took a sip of her drink moving and singing to the music, waiting on the girl's answers. Her arm was draped across the bar behind her, her fingers tapping along to the song.

Hotaru turned back to the girl, holding up her wrist with her orange bracklet. "Yep, sure am. And you're Kuma." she said. She turned around in her chair a few times. "Interesting to see how many people from each clan actually come here. Pretty weird if you ask me." this was just a personal opinion of the red head. "But, don't worry, I don't have any problems with the other clans, honestly." she smiled.

Cross grinned throwing her jet black hair behind her. "Good because I wouldn't hesitate to hurt anyone who thought otherwise..." She turned back towards the bar, ordering another Coke. Her fingers tapped impatiently on the wood. "So how long have you been in the infamous Tora clan?" She asked turning her head towards the girl. The song changed to something softer that she knew but didn't care to sing along to.

Hotaru smiled politely, ignoring the Kuma's choice of words. She had plenty of expirence with rude people in the past, and it really didn't bother at all. Maybe if she continued to be polite and ignore any rude comments, this girl might break out of her shell and be a little nicer. Plus, she didn't want to leave any bad impressions of anyone.
"Hm, let's see. I believe it's been about a year..." She checked in her head to see if she was right. She had gotten out of the hospital when she was sixteen and joined Tora almost right after, so yeah, one year.
She looked at the girl, still smiling. "What about you? How long have you been in Kuma?" she spoke in a calm matter.

Cross nodded smiling to the song. "Well I haven't been in the clan but maybe a few weeks I think." She shrugged and grabbed her new Coke sipping it and swiviling back towards the dance floor. "Not long and I haven't done much or met many people either. Honestly Tora girl, you're the first I've met outside of Kuma. And I've only met one guy in Kuma." She winced thinking of the guy and why she needed his help. Her knee started to throb at the thought of it and she shook her head dismissing the thoughts.
"So, you got a name?"

Hotaru nodded. "I normally go by Phoenix." she told the girl. "Today is no exception." the words might have been harsh if the Tora hadn't spoken in such a kind voice. Her grey eyes looked at the girl curiously. "And I'm guessing you have a name, yourself?"

She nodded. "Sure do! It's Cross." She smiled. "So where does someone get the name of Phoenix? It's not very traditional." The music picked up to a song and Cross couldn't help but laugh and sing along. "Let's have some fun, this beat is sick, I wanna take a ride on your diskostick..." She shook her head laughing at the song then looked back at Phoenix awaiting her answers.

"Well," Hotaru began. "I suppose you could say I had a pretty bad reputation growing up and it lead to... certain events that gave me the name." she wasn't sure if she had really explained it very well. Probably not, but she wasn't about to run through her whole life's story to a girl she hardly met. She began to wonder what Cross would say upon hearing the red head having a bad rep in the past.
"But anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you, Cross."

Cross raised an eyebrow. "You really don't seem the type to have a bad reputation... and you seem pretty young to have one." She shrugged. It was her life, no need to intrude.
"Nice to meet you too!" She responded smiling then swivling her chair towards the red head. "You want one?" She asked gesturing to her Coke as she sipped it. Her blue eyes darted around the club quickly before coming to rest on the Phoenix again.
