Tsu're then regarded her. He decided to repeat the quote. "'The government is the greatest hunter, it waits as its prey walks into the trap on its own free will.' We all know what happens to the prey." Tsu're added. He continued walking. "I'm not a part of a cult. If I wanted to kill you you'd be dead by now." He said this with such simplicity that it could scare even the strongest of men. But that was the scary thing of Tsu're. He didn't have emotions.
"If you don't believe me I suppose I could tell you about what my past could have been, and what it is now."

Tekka nodded. "Those poor unsuspecting citizens. And with no Superman to help them." She shook her head. "And I really did take that quote seriously just so you know. Like I said, joking is what I do."
Though she wasn't entirely sure that she'd come out of this alive if she heard Tsu're's past, she did owe it to the guy, and she'd be able to cross reference with government files. That is, if they hadn't found that passageway yet.
"I think that'd be a good way to clear things up." She looked up at him. "Should we find a place to sit or do you want to keep walking?"

Without answering her question, Tsu're began. He continued to walk though. "My life had no true meaning until I was 7, when the government had taken me. They tried to train me, and almost succeeded, but my father had friends in high places. The man who took me was killed. Shortly after, my dad had bribed his way out of getting sent to jail, and also allowed me to escape. That's how I was placed into this clan.
"They then decided to pair me up with others. That didn't go to well. I won't get into details, you probably don't care much. Just know that I have reasons to say what I say about the government." Tsu're still had no emotion, it was an explanation more than anything.

"So..." Tekka began, "Were the people that they tried to partner you with going to be used sort of like puppet strings, with you as the marionette and the government as the puppeteer?" She grinned a little. "Really basic analogy, but that's about the extent of my metaphorical creations."
She awaited a response, expecting a 'no' followed by an explanation of why she was wrong in that monotone voice. She was beginning to warm up to it. Score one for resilience towards creepy voices!

"In a sense I suppose." Tsu're simply said. Then, once again he stopped talking. His eyes seemed cold, even though his face was expressionless. The wind blew and he moved some strands of hair over his eyes to help him see. Then after a few minutes he began to speak once more. "While i was a child they told me they would kill a member of my family everytime i showed emotion. Of course this was a lie, but at the time I was only 7. I suppose old habits die hard." His voice trailed off.

Tekka began to do some quick math after hearing that. He was twenty one, he was told that when he was seven, so he was told that fourteen years ago.
She stopped dead in her tracks. That may have put her dad as one of the officials. There was no guarantee, but it was a likely possibility. After all, her dad had been in the government since she was born, and probably a lot longer than that.
She had to find out. She picked up the pace until she was back with Tsu're, whether he had noticed her absence or not was a mystery. She spoke, keeping her voice calm. "Hey, you wouldn't happen to know the names of those guys, would you?" She masked as many of the more secretive emotions as she could and tried to only let curiosity into her voice. She was a fairly good liar, but this guy seemed to pick up on everything. She really hoped it worked.

"I could but trust me, you don't want to know." Tsu're had put two and two in his head. The abrupt stop meant she must have known the person who was in the government at the time. Now she wanted to confirm it. "Nothing good would happen if you had known the answer to that question. Let's not talk about the past, it's quite dull."

Tekka gave him a look. "There are a few things to know about me when you say something like 'drop it,' okay?" She held up three fingers. "I'm stubborn, I'm curious, and I'm a younger sibling who is not above blackmail and begging." She dropped the fingers. "Do you really want to put your sanity on the line with this?"

Tsu're stared at Tekka. His expression hadn't changed, yet there was still something a bit sinister about him. "What sanity?" He muttered, as he then continued walking. The wind seemed to stop blowing. The waves slowed down a little bit, but went out a bit farther. Not far enough to get their feet wet, but far enough to come close.

Tekka shivered at that and dropped the topic, something told her she would not survive if she incurred Tsu're's wrath. She decided to try another topic. "So what's the Kuma clan like?" That couldn't be a harmful question, could it?
"I haven't met too many people from Kuma yet, so..." She trailed off and let him decide how to answer.

"The Kuma clan is a clan of resourceful people. It's all agriculture. It's a bit boring, but all 3 of the clans are. Everyone says they're happy to have their friends, but everyone wants more. It sickens me how much others lie to themselves." Tsu're knew she'd change the topic, so he had a few responses prepaired. "I suppose it would be customary of me to ask how your clan is, though."

Tekka shrugged. "Technology, cement, concrete, uh..." She paused searching for more descriptions. "Cyber Twin Central's fun though. It's the giant mall, but I bet you already knew that. Then there's the theater, it's kinda cool. A lot of the movies aren't that great though, but occasionally they'll show an old movie and those are pretty good." There was another shrug. "I've never been to the Allure Of Darkness, so I can't really say what that's like. And those are all the hotspots, so..." She spread her arms wide and smiled. "That's Tora in a nutshell!"

"Alright." Tsu're then once again fell silent as he stopped walking. He sat down next to a big rock. "Here we are. This is the place where the beach meets the forest, quite a wonder of nature if you ask me." Behind Tsu're was a small part of a big forest. There were a few trees, some grass, and still lots of sand.

Tekka blinked and then grinned at the area. "This is so cool! I didn't think there was a place like this around here!" She plopped down onto the sand and began to mound it up into a sand castle, letting a laugh escape her every now and again.
Once the castle was up to standards, she scooted back to Tsu're. "So is there any special reason we're here, or just a desire to sit?"

"There is a reason actually. It was hear I had a vision of what the future could be." Tsu're stood up. "The beach and the forest, sand and flowers, both meet to create a wonderful place wouldn't you say? We can mimic them. We can combine the Ookami, Kuma and Tora clans to create a great clan that can run itself so flawlessly we won't need any government. This is just a vision of course." Tsu're looked at a tree. He observed crabs not crossing the lines of grass to reach the forest. "It's really hard to establish new limitations, and it's harder to follow them. But I believe we can all do it." It would have been a motivating speech if anything was behind it. It seemed more as if a wise man was saying it instead of the classical spontanious, youthful hero.
