The evening sun was shining. Birds were chirping. A gentle breeze swept across the deserted football field, causing the overgrowing grass to sway happily. It looked like a perfect moment for a picnic, or going to an outing with friends. But it didn't seem so for the two people standing in the middle of the field.
Leon was crossing his arm, glaring at the person in front of him. A common duel disk was strapped on his left arm. There was an aura of hostility surrounding him. It's rare for him to not show a cheerful face, rarer than to making such scary expression. But one could easily see that this was an exception. Leon was really, really angry.
-A few minutes ago-
Leon hummed happily as he lined up to redeem a free ticket. He was really lucky to stumble upon a coupon that can be exchanged for a ticket for any movie. However, the dateline was today and there's a movie he wanted so much to watch. He must get it done today, no matter what.
As he reached the counter, something bumped him and he fell to the floor. When he opened his eyes, there was another person, who wasn't in front of him before. He protested, but fell on deaf ears.
He decided to let it go, and turned to the counter. Leon brandished the ticket, when--
"We're sorry. We've already sold the last pass to the movie to the person over there," the attendant gestured towards the person that bumped him. "How about -"
Leon doesn't stay to listen what the attendant might offer. After that, everything was vague. One thing he knew that he created quite a commotion. Somehow, they decided to settle things chivalrously, by a game of Duel Monsters.
---------------------------------
"That pass is mine and you know it! If you don't cut the line I would've had it," Leon snapped, while pointing his index finger towards the opposing person's face. "Now hand it over if you don't want a disgraceful defeat," he hissed, totally serious about this thing.

I stood there, remembering clearly what had happened just minutes ago. I smiled at the thought of it. Normally I am a nice person, but not today. I am sick and tired of the past few days. Every attempt to kindly duel someone had failed. People saw my kindess in asking them so they didn't feel threatened obviously. That was the wrong approach. It is time to be mean and take no prisoners. The old Steve is gone.
I set my deck inside my duel disk. It was my dinosaur deck. I could have used my morphtronic deck I recently put together but not this time. This time I had to prove a point and with a brutal beating of this poor soul, I smiled. People will begin to recognize me. "Yours? Maybe. But you are far to weak to take it from me. So, why don't you just run away now. Don't worry about this here ticket. I'll put it to good use. If you run away now, you will be spared the embarresment." I smiled again. This time an evil smirk.

"....You wretched creature. I'll make sure you regret crossing swords with me!" Leon raged, activating his duel disk to life. "DUEL!" "Winner's first!" Leon exclaimed, drawing his opening hand of six cards. He glanced at his cards and gave a slight smirk. "I'll set a monster Face-Down, and call it a turn," he concluded, a virtual image of a face down appeared in front of him. Face Down 5 CIH 8000

"Is that all?" I laughed. "Take this!" I drew the six starting cards. "First I'll play Tyranno Infinty! But he won't be here long. I sacrifice him to play Big Evolution Pill! This let's be summon my Dino's without having to sacrifice. Now I'll end with a facedown.

He's leaving himself wide open. What is he thinking? "Then you'll have no monster to protect yourself. My move," Leon exclaimed, drawing his next card. Perfect!"I'll flip my face down Submarineroid into Attack Position," A cartoonish submarine materializes, holding a weirdly-shaped torpedo. "Then I'll summon Goblin Black Ops into play," Three goblins in black garbs appeared. Leon smirked. There's no way that jerk can block this. But that's not all. "Now, I'll equip my Submarineroid with United We Stand, which will give my monster 800 attack boost for each monsters I have on the field. I have two, so my Submarineroid gains 1600 ATK points," an aura surrounded the machine, and it attack went up from 800 to 2400. "Now Submarineroid, teach this jerk to not mess with Leon of the Ookami!" the machine launched it torpedo towards his opponent. But that line-cutting jerk got something up his sleeve. The torpedo exploded. but something unexpected happened. The debris reflected back to the machine, and it was reduced to pixels. Leon looked up to see a Trap: Sakuretsu Armor "Ugh. Y- you got lucky. But that isn't going to stop me! Goblin Black Ops, attack!" the trio lunged at the jerk and took a chunk of his lifepoints. 8000---> 6700. "Because of it's effect, my Goblin changed to defense mode, so you ain't touching my Life Points next turn," Leon said, clearly not happy with the development. "I guess that's all from me," Goblin Black Ops (def) 4 CIH 8000

"You really think I would leave myself open? And I don't care about you protecting your life points. Soon enough they'll be at zero." I drew one card, nothing to amazing though. "Now, come one out Frostosaurus!." The giant dinosaur made of ice emerged on the field. 2600/1700. "Now, destroy his useless goblin!" The dinosaur took a few steps forward and with a swing of it's tail the goblin was gone. This face-down I am about to play is useless if he attacks, but maybe it'll make him a bit more cautious. "I play one face-down. And end my turn. Face-Down/ Big Evolution Pill. (2 turns left) Frostosaurus. (Attack mode. 2600/1700.) 6700

Leon gulped as the big dinosaur hit the field. He had no other monster stronger than that, and the cards he need for the lock was nowhere to be found. This is bad. "...." Leon drew his next card without saying anything. He took a quick glance at the card and.... "I'll summon my second Submarineroid. This time, It'll go through. Attack him directly!" The machine launched its torpedo. BOOM! It exploded as it meet contact. There was sounds of lifepoints ticking down, as a cheer from Leon. 6700 ---> 5900 "Yay! Now your lifepoints will become zero before mine does," Leon exclaimed as his Submarine turned to defense mode. "That's enough I think," Submarineroid 4 CIH 8000

"Yeah, see, I am going to have to ruin your party here. My turn!" I drew a card. But the card I needed to play was already in my hand. "I play Hydrogeddon in attack mode!" The big brown water-looking Dinosaur 1600/1000. "Now Frostosaurus take down his Sumbarineroid!" The big Dino went forth once more and with a swipe of it's tail the Submarine was gone. "Hydrogeddon, attack directly!" The Dino charged forward and did it's damage. "Hey, what happened to winning?" I said with a smirk on my face. Face-Down/Big Evolution Pill. (1 Turn.) Frostosaurus. (Attack Mode. 2600/1700.) Hydrogeddon. (Attack mode. 1600/1000.) LP: 5900

Leon face ashen as the jerk's first attack went through. "You... just got lucky. One attack wouldn't change anything," Leon said, staggering to keep his footing. He drew his next card. Leon jaw dropped when he looked at the card he just drew. He can't believe his odd of drawing the same cards trice. Was that some divine sign that he's not destined to watch the movie? "I- I'll play my third Submarineroid! Go, Submarineroid!" Leon said with a tint of panic in his voice. the similar monster attacked again, bringing the jerk 800 Lifepoints less. 5900 --> 5100 The submarine turned to defense position as soon as it finished attacking. "Your move," Leon sighed, concluding his turn. If this went on, he'll lose the duel and the pass. Submarineroid 4 CIH 8000

"Your submarine's are doing little damage. Maybe you should think of doing something else!" I said after the sumbarineroid had hit my for the third time. "Like this! I summon Super conductor Tyranno to the field!" The massive Tyranno was summoned to the field. 3300/1400. "Frostosaurus destory submarineroid!" And again the icy dinosaur stepped forward and with a swing of it's tail the Sumbarine was gone. "Now, Hydrogeddon and Super Conductor Tyranno! ATTACK DIRECTLY!" Both Dino's charged forward at the helpless duelist. 4900 points of damage were awarded. Face-Down/Big evolution pill (Destroyed at this turns end.) Frostosaurus. (attack mode. 2600/1700.) Hydrogeddon. (Attack mode. 1600/1000.) Super Conductor Tyranno.(Attack mode. 3300/1400.) LP: 5100

"Uh... um..." Leon was speechless as his life points were down to fifteen hundred. If the jerk hit him hard again, he'll lose the duel for sure. "M-My draw...." Leon blinked as he looked at his next draw. It was a pretty powerful card. But would it help him win the duel? "I- I summon Inaba White Rabbit!" Leon stammered, the excitement in his voice had died out. A white rabbit riding a rocket appeared on the field "Then, I'll equip Unstable Evolution on it, causing it's attack point to be 2400 if my life points is lower than yours," The fluffy white rabbit evolved into a grotesque creature, the rocket it's riding became no less than a club. "Next, I'll play Mage Power, allowing my White Rabbit to gain 500 Attack points for each Spell and Traps I have on the field. I'll set a card, causing my White Rabbit to gain a total of fifteen hundreds attack point," an purplish aura surrounded the white rabbit, causing it to grow. Now, it's larger than any of the jerk's dinosaurs. Inaba Whit Rabbit (3900/2000) "Inaba White Rabbit, attack him directly for game!" The gigantic rabbit lifted it's rocket club high, before slamming onto the ground. An explosion occurred and shook the whole field. "Did I win?" Leon asked himself as smoke were obscuring his view. But as the smoke cleared, he could clearly see that the person was still standing. He miscalculated, a mistake that cost him the duel. The white rabbit shone and disappeared as Leon ended his turn. "This can't be...." Face Down 5 CIH LP:1500

The move surprised me. To make a weak monster that can attack directly in to one so powerful was quite genious, but it didn't matter. It was far too little too late. As I stood up I was ready to end the duel.
"First I will play my facedown! Heavy Storm. All magic/trap cards on the field are destroyed, so there goes your face-down." A large storm built up around the face-down card my opponent had down. It was destroyed and sent to the graveyard. "Now my beasts, attack directly!" All three Dino's charged forward to finish off his life points. "Adios." I said as his life points hit zero. "I guess that ticket is mine eh?" All the graphics on the field dissapeared. Leaving me victorious.
I started to walk away leaving him there to bathe in his loss. Step one is complete. Winning my first duel, now, I need to continue my streak, time to find my next victim.

"No," Leon dropped to his knee as the jerk dealt the last blow.
He stared as the grass as the jerk made his leave. The cards of his previous hand lay scattered on the ground, but he didn't even bother to pick them up. In his mind he was blaming himself for performing poorly when something important was on the line. He always wanted to watch the movie.
"Uh...."
He tightened his grasp. His fingers dig into the ground, taking along some grass while doing so.
"Hu...."
One could see that he was truly depressed. Leon trembled while staring at the grass, as if it was the end of world for him. It was a very strange thing to happen to a person that is always cheerful. And then-
"U...uu...uuwaaaaaaa!"
Leon broke down. Tears poured from the hazel-brown orbs down his cheeks. It looked like he was really, really upset of losing the pass. He wept similarly like a child who toy's was taken away. The aura of hostility had disappeared. Now he was reduced to nothing more than a weeping little boy.
Leon got to his feet and turned, before running towards the opposite direction. Soon, he was gone and his wailing diminished bit by bit, before disappearing completely.
